2004-08-08 [Little Victories]: so what can we say in this pages comment section?
2005-11-19 [David the Good]: and i create a button on to send the person who clicks it straight to a sight rather than a wiki with the site pasted to it.
2005-11-22 [David the Good]: what is a good way for wiki advertisement (sorry if i spelled that wrong)
2005-12-07 [Paz]: Post it in your mood, make banners that will attract people to your wiki. Make it look interesting but not annoying. If it'd a contest you can try to see if they'll post it on Mainstreet (MC) :) Also, if the wiki owner allows, you can post it in the comments on another wiki, but don't be annoying and beg everyone who comes to visit your house.
2005-12-20 [Pink_Pixie]: Ok I'm having troubles put my banner on my wiki, Can You Help?
2006-02-03 [eowynhood]: lama
2006-02-21 [easy_me]: UHHHHHHHHHHHHH
2006-04-13 [Wolf's_Blood]: hey im having trouble making a wiki can you help me please
2006-06-05 [sunabozu]: im board
2006-08-09 [Zab]: Shouldn't this be updated? would also suggest that you watch all wiki pages you create. Since the wiki is watched automatically when you make it now? :)
EDIT: Nevermind, I did it. Change it back if it isn't good.
2006-11-29 [Wolf Spirit]: I want to create a wiki and I don't even know where to start. I've read everything but I can't find where to begin. *Frown*
2006-11-29 [Zab]: Begin with figuring out a name for the wiki, write the name in the field ''wiki-page:'' (to the right on every page here). If you come to an empty page just Edit it, as is described above. If not, then look for a new name.:)
I hope that helped, if not you have to be more specific:)
2006-11-29 [Zab]: Making a New Wiki Page
First, pick a name for your wiki page. Go to any wiki page (this one, for example), and you will find a field labeled "Go to wiki-page" below the status bar to the right. Write the name you chose for your new page in the field and click on "Go!". If you get anything else than an empty wiki page with the text "This is an empty page", the name is taken and you must pick another name.
When you have found a name that isn't taken, you can edit the page as described above.
When you have made your page, you probably want to add a link to it from somewhere (another wiki page, your bio, etc). The "code" for a link looks like this: " page_name ". Put the name of your page instead of page_name. On the wiki page the link will look like the page name. Look at how others have written links if this sounds confusing!
2007-05-15 [_habnabit]: Is it possible to allow unregistered people to comment and only forum members to edit simultaneously
2007-05-15 [Zab]: No, I don't think it is. But you can allow unregistered people to comment and use a password for editing. :)
2007-05-20 [IceWolfe]: R u allowed 2 place pictures in Wiki that u got off the internet?
2007-05-20 [Zab]: Yes, unless you claim them to be your own (if they are not). And you're not allowed to upload them on Elftown (use the URL they already have before. So no saving the image on your computer and uploading it here).
2013-06-17 [The Crimsonwolf of the Hidden Leaf]: How do you shrink the size of a picture once you put it on a wiki?
2013-06-18 [Veltzeh]: You add the new width (in pixels) in the tag, so that
If you want to set the new height, use an asterisk in the tag: img*200.
2013-06-18 [The Crimsonwolf of the Hidden Leaf]: Ok thanks
