In the words of the nominator: "I like this piece because of the composition. The position of the characters, the simple dark background. The lines are a bit sketchy but that's not really an issue. What really strikes me here is the ambiguity of the mood - the relationship between the two is not (at least to me) entirely clear. The man is in a protective posture, true, but what are they thinking?"
