Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation review

Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation starts out with a small squad of Marines surrounded by Bugs on a hill. In a desperate attempt to get free they make a break and safely reach an abandoned outpost nearby. Shortly after arriving they are joined by three other humans who say they were also stranded, they also find a prisoner abandoned and locked up in a cell, and marked as a traitor to the Federation. Once they get the protective barrier up they believe they are safe for a time, but little do they know that danger is closer then they think.

This sequel to the popular sci-fi film Starship Troopers is a complete pile of crap. It lost everything that made the first so amazing and turned it into nothing more then a survival horror style film. The acting was sub-par and very little of the plot made sense. I also felt they tried to send some sort of "deep" message, but failed horribly.

I would absolutely avoid this movie and skip on to the third in the trilogy which won't leave you in the dark about anything in the series.
