2007-08-28 [Iske]: cool

2007-08-28 [Rye]: It is, isn't it :) He is sooo talented

2007-08-28 [Iske]: yes he is , i'm jealous of his way of drawing , but i can handle that lol

2007-08-28 [Rye]: You draw very well too :) You both beat me easily..I just need to practice a lot more

2009-10-14 [Talos Cyrion]: i envy his ability to draw facial features....very well done

2009-10-15 [Rye]: I know...Nathie is amazing :)

2009-10-15 [Talos Cyrion]: i think actually the skecth is better than the colored one (don't take this the wrong way either) more detail comes out in the black an white than in the color

2009-10-15 [Rye]: I agree totally! The sketch is my favorite, and I've told him as much, though they are both wonderful.

2009-10-15 [Talos Cyrion]: that they are. lol this could very well be because i absolutely love black an white charcoal when i come across them.

2009-10-16 [Rye]: Yep. The pencil can be very unforgiving...you can only erase so many times before things start to look bad. You can see more talent that way..a lot can be hidden or distracted by color. Pencil drawings show how good the artist really is...but I guess not so much as pen, though it's less pleasing to the eye to me. XP

2009-10-16 [Talos Cyrion]: Pencil is as unforgiving as it gets, because as you said....even the smallest of mistakes seem to stand out like a glaring flaw. One thing i found that helped with the detail
try drawing with whatever you are drawing upside down....if you can. It helps cause you pay less attention to detail (though if you are doing figures....my advice would be one and one only...it gets very chaotic with anymore than one)

2009-10-16 [Rye]: I'll have to try that..it sounds interesting for sure :) Now...how do I suspend myself by my feet....J/K! I know what you mean. XP

2009-10-16 [Talos Cyrion]: O.O i am not in any way advocating suspension by ones feet....that i can assure you is the quickest way to blacking out (the whole blood rushing to your head...not to mention your ankles would hurt i could imagine after a short while)

2009-10-16 [Rye]: LOL! With my luck I wouldn't secure my ankles properly and just fall on my head, which would entail getting ZERO artwork done, so I'll just skip that part :)

2009-10-16 [Talos Cyrion]: haha....lol what i meant was try taking the image and turning it upside down...yeah giving yourself a nasty headache or some other unpleasent injury...doesn't usually result in getting much art work done....well..never tried it, but i can imagine it doesn't

2009-10-16 [Rye]: I know, I know :P Yes though, I will have to try it. Who knows, it may help :)

2009-10-17 [Talos Cyrion]: could...maybe, maybe not...guess that is to be determined
