Username: [The Vampire Armand]
Name: Alluvial.
Age: looks no more than a mere youngling of 16 his real age is undetermined.
Height: Rather smallish topping about 5'5"
Weight: 130 lbs
Hair: Golden entwined with silver that is usually done up in a combative tye or merely let to hang down his back, reaching his waist.
Eye color: Silvered form of green etched in gold.
Personality: Shy and incredibly innocent. (obviously he's an angel for a reason) He is highly skilled in ways of combat and this is shown in his lean and wiry-muscled figure. He almost looks willowy. His eyes are shaddowed in silver which seem to reflect the color in them and his roman like atire is fitted with a red cloak and his lengthy white wings that shoot out through the material. His wings, as needed, slip away and re-appear upon command. He's rather feminine to a degree that most aren't. The prettiest girls are sometimes no where near as beautiful as the boy, especially when adorned in simple robes of white and silver. He's very respectful, mindful, very flirty at times when he likes someone. He's been known to stand for the worst of people, which is his role in heaven aside his god (whoever is there at the time), to judge them, but he judges fair for he sees and senses if corrections can or cannot be made in their stead, which is why he was chosen for the job of guardian and decider

Username: [Ramirez]
Name: Amethyst

Age: Irrelevant
 (looks approximately 23)
Height: 6’1”

Weight: 160 lbs

Hair: Silver, length-wise down to about his mid-thigh, the style is rather plain, straight and flowing.
Eye Color: Violet

Personality traits: Flirtatious, greedy, manipulative, compulsive, demanding, cunning, easily disinterested

Physical Attributes: Black-feather wings which he has the option of dissipating when he wishes—they are functional but he’s not too interested in using them for anything other than seduction and entertainment. He is tall, lean and distinctly toned but not overbearingly muscular. He has a softer, feminine face but his dark violet eyes can be menacing when accompanied by a scowl. He has long unpainted nails which he enjoys intimidating others with despite the fact that his hands are soft and rather feminine.

Clothing: A rather eccentric and flashy ao dai. It is light blue in color and the edges are adorned with a variety of colorful jewels, mostly in the shape of flowers and butterflies and some random shapes as well to simply distract the eyes.

Amethyst was a beautiful thing—a potentially deadly thing, furthermore he was an utterly bored thing. The man let out a long, forceful sigh, stretching out his long legs as his arms reached out over his head, fingers laced together. His back arched gracefully with the movements and he was rewarded with a series of pleasurable pops throughout his spine. The tall man relaxed and resumed his bored, disinterested humming, kicking his feet absently. He was draped across a towering throne; his legs bounced agitated over one arm of the chair while his shoulders rested against the other side. He had eventually worked his way into the position despite the warning glare from his trusted advisor… Ginji was often a silly, unreadable man and Amethyst often grew bored of the brooding, ever nagging demon. In fact, Amethyst was growing all the more bored of this Kingdom of Hell and it was only recently that he had become its ruler. The irony was simply laughable.

Amethyst had ordered many drastic changes to the throne room upon his succession. Before it had been so damn dreary, mysterious and gloomy. He had ordered candles to be placed everywhere--little ones, big ones, fat one, ugly ones, pretty ones. He didn’t care much at the particular times— so long as they held a flame, the silvery-haired man cared not what they looked of. He had also forced the room to be adorned in splashes of color—reds, blues, purples, greens—hells, anything that wouldn’t make the eccentric demon feel like he was lying in a coffin awaiting death—which was such a silly notion being immortal. The room, in short, was like walking into a fun house.

Amethyst couldn’t quite grasp why the former rulers had been so adamant with the ‘scary’ gothic theme. In fact, Amethyst had had a good long and rather obnoxious laugh the first time he had come to meet the former ruler, surrounded by this cliché aura of mysterious themes. Granted he was escorted out immediately upon demand of the King, followed by some-not-so-great respect lessons, but Amethyst had to admit—it was far too precious of a sight to not laugh

“My Lord?” It was Ginji, the tall, muscular imposing masculine man that was often disrupting Amethyst’s thoughts.

Ginji was indeed a muscle-man, not exactly pretty in the visual sense, but not exactly ugly either. A scar ran down the dark-skinned demon face and it was a pale white on the tanned skin and always wrinkled whenever his brow furrowed (which it often did when trying to understand his Lord). Ginji was simply exotic in his own way, and Amethyst respected that. He also greatly respected how loyal Ginji was.

Ginji, meanwhile, could never quite understand how this careless, somewhat ignorant man had become the new King of Hell, but he didn’t quite care much. Despite Amethyst’s strange behavior and aesthetic tastes, he was charismatic and generally concerned for those that followed him. It was a good quality that Ginji found worth protecting. He, however, would never get use to the violet-eyed man’s random giggling; it was rather disturbing. Ginji was use to serving broody, arrogant and snooty Kings—Amethyst was none of the aforementioned.

“My Lord…” Ginji started again, worriedly.

Amethyst seized his quiet giggle and lolled his head about to stare at the man standing quietly behind him and blinked up at the other. “What? Are you bored?” Amethyst questioned, scrunching his face, “I’m bored… this is far too boring. Why is Hell so boring? We should do something. Mahjong?”

Ginji sighed heavily, adjusting the spear he held in his calloused hands. His short black hair shifted irritatingly into his eyes and the man brushed it aside absently, “My Lord… don’t you have more important things to do besides gambling?”

“…” Amethyst frowned at him before sniffing and adjusting so he wouldn’t have to look at the other anymore. “Don’t chastise me… you know how bored I get. I can’t help myself.”

Ginji grumbled quietly under his breath, rolling his eyes. Amethyst was in so many regards a spoiled child, but at the same time he could be so damned cunning and manipulative it was disgusting. Ginji supposed this was why Amethyst was now the ruler. He was simply too intriguing. With a slight grin, so not to alarm his Master, Ginji realized he would let no one steal away his King, not as long as he could help it.

It was as though upon the woes of the darkened leader of hell's bordeom that Alluvial showed up at the gates of the said place. He certainly didn't belong as he could tell from the crusty and falling apart gates. His whitened winges fluttered irritably while his slver-green eyes narrowed in irritation. Did hell not have people to wait at their gates.

"Hellooo!!!!!" He shouted in aggravation, kicking at the gate. As he kicked it he heard it squeak open and then rolled his eyes. "Perhaps I came to the wrong place." He mumbled to himself while undoing the clasp that held his sword in its sheath. He grimaced and felt an unavoidable wave of danger.

Alluvial sighed, drawing his sword and as he heard a growl. He whimpered while looking around. "Ohh this is so.. GAH!" He swirled around fast while he was attacked by a set of some form of demonized dogs, slashing at them until they were no more than dust at his feet. "OH THAT'S SOME WAY TO GREET A VISITOR!" He shouted, wondering where in the hell in hell the ruler of hell was. Then he grinned at himself for his wonder thought for how many times he had mentioned the said place.

Alluvial continued wandering forth and after the first attack he began to be even more irritated. Was something else going to attack him or not? Was he going to have to run for it, or not? What was going on?

He was just about to reach the door of a rather large castle in the middle of this frightening and dark place when he was met at the door by a rather sickly looking spider. "What the.."

The spider snickered it seemed and then looked as though he was glaring. "Excuse me. What is an angel doing in hell?"

Alluvial sighed angrily. "I am trying to look for your damned ruler! And you are all in trouble as it is! Having your silly demon creatures attacking a messanger!" He said, pushing the spider aside to go into castle. He was surprised when the spider only laughed and didn't retaliate. "HELLOOOOOOO! MMISTER HELL RULER!" He shouted.
~*~
"My Lord!" The door to the throne room burst opened, followed by a rather confused and disgruntled young demon. "We have an intruder!"

Amethyst frowned at the heaving guard, tilted his head and shrugged, "What do you want me to do about it?"

The messengers face fell, but he soon recovered and with that straightened more properly. "My Lord, he seems to be screaming something about wanting to meet you... He... is an Angel."

Amethyst swung his legs around to sit properly in the chair before crossing one leg daintily over the other. One silvery-brow quirked inquisitively. "My, my, I have a visitor? Well, be a darling and bring him here?"

"Master, I don't think that's wise..." Ginji voiced, stepping towards his young master, clenching his spear in his right hand, "He could be a danger to you..."

"Isn't that why you protect me?" Amethyst questioned shyly before giggling behind his hand, "Silly Ginji. I am the King of Hell, you don't truly believe a silly little angel could do anything to me? Besides... I'm so bored and so very curious as to why we have a little baby angel among our midsts... Show him in."

The messenger bowed stiffly before edging his way out of the room. "Lord Amethyst must be insane..." The man sighed, rubbing the back of his head. He spread his wings and with a few powerful flaps became airborne and went in search of the intruder.
~*~
Alluvial gasped as he sw the flapping man. "YOU WHERE IS YOUR KING?"
He shouted up, pointing his sword at the other. "I MUST SPEAK TO HIM."

Alluvial flipped his hair in annoyance whle looking up at the other. He thought he was being treated horribly. But he had to go on. He had to see the ruler.

And why did Alluvial so desperately need to see this oh so talked of ruler of hell? Why, because his own ruler of the Heavens was in quite a spot. He was due long for retirement and they didn't have anyone to replace him.

Normally Alluvial would have gone to the other angels to pick who would rule next, it was his job after all to judge those who would be worthy. And after going through every other angel in Heaven he found thy were far from suited for the job. He didn't think of perhaps the Angel of Hell. So that is why he was there at the man's palace, irritated and angry beyond his witts.

And why had Alluvial even thought the said ruler of Hell would even accept the job if he deemed him worthy? He would probably enjoy his own station. What he needed to keep quiet about was that since the ruler of the Heavens was gone truly, the ruler of Hell could usurp and take over and make his own rules, but if Alluvial could persuade him to simply rule in the place of the other then no rules would be violated and Heaven could reamin peaceful.

He tapped his fot irritably. "WELL?"
~*~
The demonic guard made a face as he landed before the angel. He gave an awkward, forced bow. "My Lord has requested I escort you to the throne room. If you would be so kind as to sheath your weapon, then I will bring you to His Majesty." The guard gave the demon an unappreciative, annoyed stare before turning about and stomping annoyed to the throne room, not even bothering to see if the intruder would follow is commands or not.
~*~

Had Alluvial been less of a person and not an angel he would have rammed the other through. But he politely shielded his sword and followed after the other. "And serously, why do you have things to attack visitors!?" He demanded as he was being lead away.He was angry about it and he wanted the whole of the kingdom he was in to know it. He looked like a flush little bird as he followed the other with an angry stomp.
~*~
The guard twitched, "You're an intruder. An uninvited guest. What do you expect? Had you sent a formal invitation, I'm sure you would have been greeted much differently." The guard grumbled quietly and stopped before the entrance to the King's throne. He paused, gave the Angel a scowl and stated seriously, "You better not try anything funny. Your ignorance wont be tolerated in front of His Majesty." With that, the guard swung opened the door and stepped inside. He gave a low bow, "My Lord, I have brought the intruder."

Amethyst dropped his chin into one upraised hand and a certain twinkle danced in his eyes as he eyed the Angel. "Oh, my goodness... He most certainly is but a little boy." The violet-eyed man chuckled quietly, tilting his head. "Are you lost, little boy? Do you need someone to guide you back to Heaven?" The man laughed, obviously tickled to death by his bad pun. Beside him, Ginji let out a sigh.
~*~
Alluvial seethed in fury at the demon that lead him in, mumbling. "Yes well if his highness hadn't cut off all communications with heaven then I would have!" Alluvial also rolled his eyes at being warned to not do anything funny. What could he possibly do? If anything he would have to defend himself.

Alluvial glared at the ruler of hell. "I can find my own way thank you much." He stated simply. He tried to ignore the fact that the man wasn't bad looking in the slightest. Probably one of the very few handsome hell rulers he'd ever seen. "And to be frank I am ageless. I am hardly a little boy!" He sighed bitterly. "Do you have somewhere we could speak in private? I have a few questions to ask you."
~*~
Ginji scowled stepping forward, "Alone? You hardly think some--" He trailed off when Amethyst raised his hand sharply, though the silvery-haired man did not bother to look at his servant.

"I am quite capable, Ginji. Though I am flattered for your concern..." Amethyst stood, brushing the wrinkles out of ao dai as he straightened. The gown somehow managed to flow elegantly despite how form-fitting it appeared. "Before we seek the comforts of closed doors, I must beg to question, what is your name, little one?"
~*~
Alluvial smiled charmingly at the king of hell. "My name is Alluvial. What is yours? I should hardly think it is 'Devil', 'Satan', or 'Lucifer'." He said, glaring at Ginji and then reverting his gaze back to the hell king. He found himself watching the other's flowing clothing with interest.

He wanted to hide the blush that slowly creeped into his cheeks but found it nearly imporrible. Maybe with the candle light it would be mistaken for the color of flame rather than what it was.
~*~
Amethyst grin was positively devilish, and in a sense that seemed quite appropriate for his title. "Alluvial..." He repeated slowly, trying the name out on his tongue. He smirked, "Lovely. I am Amethyst." He bowed in a rather mocking matter before straightening. "Hot in here? Hmm? No matter... Follow me, little Alluvial." With a slight incline of his head Amethyst walked to the nearby wall, pushed on it and it swung open to reveal a door. "If you'd be so kind..." He gestured to the opening, smirking still.
~*~
Alluvial blushed slightly more at the other's befitting grin. "Pleased to meet you, Amythest." He said in a tone that was slightly clipped. He didn't like the mock of a bow, he found it entirely disrespectful. "Yes it is erm.. warm." He said, blushing darkly since he had been found out in his blushing. He had a feeling the other knew his face wasn't red from the heat, for it was actually quite cool. He didn't want to seem rude and swallowed the small bit of fear that the slipped into his eyes at the door. No matter, if he got into trouble he could simply call Gabriel and be retrieved. He went through the door as gestured, wondering what was behind it. "And I would truly appreciate if you would quit making comments about my height."
~*~
Amethyst giggled behind his hands, "Your height, Alluvial? Why I was referring to your adorable little face." Grinning Amethyst allowed his fingers to trace the others cheek lightly before pulling it away quickly, not really wanting the other to snap at him. Amethyst waved his hand and bursts of fire erupted about the candles in a small, rather snug sitting room. The door to the entrance slid closed and the two were left alone.

Amethyst made his way to one of the plushy chairs and fell into it, sighing loudly. "Now, dear, what is it you wanted to speak to me about?"
~*~
Alluvial sat in the chair beside the other, blushing and suppressed a shiver that ran through him when he felt the others fingers trace his cheeks. "First I want you to tell me about yourself. What are your ambitions and what sort of life do you like to lead." He said, his wings disappearing and he crossed his legs, folding his hands into his lap while he looked at the other in waiting for an answer.
~*~
Amethyst made a face at the other, "What the hell is this, an interview?" The man snorted with annoyance and shrugged, "I don't think I want to answer that. Whatever my ambitions may be do not concern you. Besides, what if I were to tell you it was universal domination? Hmm? Or perhaps my goal in life is the destruction of both Heaven and Earth? Who are you to judge me anyhow?" Amethyst kicked his feet up onto a footstool and crossed his arms, sinking down. He began to pout, which looked rather silly, "I've never been fond of the lot of you self-righteous Angels. And you say us Demons are bad? Ha...hardly. We'll accept anyone. You guys have 'criteria' to meet." The last part he ended on a rather sarcastic note.
~*~
Alluvial sighed. "Look. Our God is retiring. We need someone new to take his place and frankly you seem to be the only candidate. I have gone through every other angel in hell, and yes I am judging, because that is my job, the Angel of Judgement. I have criteria to meet because of what Heaven is! I am far from self righteous. I have never said anyone was actually bad, merely not cut out enough. Of course you'll accept anyone, which is why you often have weak links. Please, you don't undestand what will happen to Heaven if someone worthy enough doesn't come in to take our old God's place."
~*~
A grin began to replace Amethyst's pout. "What would happen to Heaven? Why... It would crumble. And guess who would be there to pick up the pieces?" Amethyst smiled a winning smile, batted his eyelashes and gestured to himself. "Regardless if you think I meet your criteria or not, when Heaven falls, I'll be there to unify all you silly helpless angels anyways. I am not afraid of your current leader, nor have I been afraid of any before, nor shall I be of any after."
~*~
Alluvial was incredibly frustrated. The other's reply angered him to no end. "Obviously I came to the wrong place." He said, teeth clenched in anger and agony of not accomplishing what he'd set out to do. He wanted to just up and leave but at the same time he didn't want to leave unless he knew for certain the other would say no. "So it's a no then?" He asked, his hands unfolded and clenched at his sides.
~*~
Amethyst laughed, crossing his legs and flicking back his long silvery hair, allowing it to tangle teasingly between his fingers. He eyed the smaller man and a certain air of naughtiness was in that gaze, "Dear Alluvial, I will one day be the ruler of you and your people. I am pretty ambitious, you know." He grinned fully, allowing the perfection of his teeth to be noticed.
~*~
Alluvial felt his eyebrows knit together. "I think not. You would only enslave us. You can't take full controll unless you invade while we're missing our God..." He gasped and clapped a hand over his mouth. He couldn't believe he had said so much. "I.. I have to go." He said, making to rise, his heart beating thousand paces a second. He'd just jeopradized so much by his words.
~*~
Amethyst bit his lower lip sensually as his eyes followed the other up and down, "Quite a silly one, aren't you? Well, you pretty little thing... If you really must leave so soon..." He sighed dramatically, twisting his fingers through his long silky white hair, "...Go tell your God you've failed Him once more. Go on now... return empty-handed. I'm sure He'll be pleased." Amethyst laughed, jovially at the thought, wrapping his arms around his belly as he did so as if to try and contain the sudden mirth that was threatening to escape through his laughter. "Oh what a mighty leader you have..." His laughter died away and he brushed a few tears from his eyes. "Silly, silly angels..."
~*~

Alluvial halted a moment from his retreat. He turned to look at him,"I have none to tell..." his eyes confirming that in Heaven at that moment there was no God at all. He scolded himself again, that was even worse. It sounded as though the other originally hadn't caught onto the fact that the God was missing from his post yet, but he was sure to know now. He paled and shot through the door, doing his best to be gone, forgetting the way out of the palace. He began to panick. "Oh now! Damn! Which way was which!?" He didn't need to deal with that about then. He finally remembered the way and ran out through the door, and through the gates of hell to make it to his own kingdom again. "GABRIEL." He shouted, gasping as he reached the other angel.

"Alluvial, where had you gone!?"Gabriel asked, a long golden curl hanging in his eyes.

"We may have sme trouble. I.. I went to hell to talk to the king there." He said, the fear in his eyes obvious.

"Did you say anything stupid?" Gabriel demanded.

Alluvial shrugged. "I don't know Gabriel. I just.. he has plans you know. We need to probably make our borders stronger."

Gabriel examined his companions. "I don't think so. If you didn't say anything too revealing then it shouldn't matter, right?"

Alluvial gave a pained expression and nodded. "Yes..you're right." He said, he couldn't bring himself to tell the older warrior angel what he had truly said. He was afraid of what would be made of him if he did. "But.. perhaps a scout or two at least?"

Gabriel nodded, but truly had no intentions of even putting out scouts. "Will do, now go and organize your station."

Alluvial was glad to leave the other's piercing gaze and went to his station, looking out in their world. He could feel trouble brewing. And it made him shiver.
~*~
Amethyst laughed quite merrily as he stepped back into the throne room and Ginji gave him an uncomfortable smile. "Well, your Majesty? Anything... interesting?"

Amethyst threw his arms around the other and Ginji awkwardly caught his Master in his arms before they both toppled over. "Ginji, my sweet, call the generals. We have an appointment with Heaven." He giggled before letting go of the taller man and humming he skipped across the throne room.

It was only a matter of minutes before the highest officers were assembled in the meeting hall, and this pleased Amethyst greatly. The new King stood proudly at the end of the table, his arms crossed, grinning. Many of his officers looked rather dumbfounded but most seemed to be rather interested. Finally, unable to contain himself any longer Amethyst joyfully announced, "We will overtake Heaven."

There was a stunned silence.

"What?" Someone questioned, and a series of muttered followed.

"Now, now, my dashing young followers." Amethyst cooed, patting the air. "A silly little Angel was here trying to recruit moi as the new leader of Heaven. The silly little thing let it slip that the God position is currently unoccupied. Heaven is vulnerable. Now is our chance to expand our nation."

"...My Lord, it could have been a trap." A grizzled and battle scarred demon stated flatly. "What then?"

"I highly doubt this General." Amethyst said, shrugging. "The little thing was about as innocent as they come; I doubt deception is even possible..."

"...Well, what do you have planned, Your Highness?" Another questioned, and in his tone it was obvious he was excited and pleased. Grins followed and Amethyst was pleasantly surprised to find that his followers so eagerly wish to overthrow Heaven. It was about damn time.
~*~
Alluvial went to a small garden in the gates of Heaven. He himself could take the seat so Heaven wasn't vulnerable. However, giving his stationing and rank he wouldn't have been allowed the seat. He sighed and changed from his armor into his robes of silver and white. He thought maybe it might not have been a good idea, for as the sun rose over Heaven it was casted red. Surely he should stay in his armor for that was always a sure sign of war.

Alluvial sighed and growled in anger. Why was he so stupid? If he had kept his mouth shut and just kept looking he may have found someone and Heaven wouldn't be in danger. He sighed, his long golden-siliver entwined hair hanging about his waist, he sat by a pool, letting his fingers slip into the water, saddened as he looked at his reflection. "Please.. let there be no harm to Heaven." He whispered, sighing and wondering who he was even praying too.. there was no God.
~*~
"My Lord, I'm not so comfortable with you leading the line..." Ginji sighed as he helped his Master into his light armor. The rather feminine man looked more dashing in his armor instead of intimidating, Ginji didn't find this thought very amusing. Instead, it reminded him how...delicate his Master really was. Amethyst may be a cunning man, but he wasn't exactly physically strong. This worried Ginji, greatly.

"Nag, nag. Is that all you ever do, Ginji? Is it annoying to hear your own voice at times?" Amethyst sighed, flicking his hair away and it fell back around his body enchantingly. His ao dai had been covered with a rather pathetic peice of armor--in fact it was more showy than anything else. Amethyst caught the hurt look in his servants eyes, even though the manly-man attempted to hide it as best he could. "Aw... Ginji, you know your nagging is what keeps me on my toes. I would have no one else at my side but you." He tickled the mans jawline with his fingernails and the black-haired demon cleared his throat uncomfortably before looking away... Ginji would never get use to serving a man like this. Ever. "Ah... well, in any case." There was a popping noise as black wings appeared from the King's back. "Are we ready?"

"On your command, My Lord..." Ginji nodded.

"Excellent. Shall we be on our way?"
~*~
Alluvial felt a tug in Heavens atmosphere. He closed his eyes tight and decided to merely sip from his cup of juice he had acquired. "Mn. I don't think that's a good pull." He grabbed his sword and began to dress in his armor, tunic on first, coming barely to his knees, but would have been covered by his armor had Gabriel not come in.

"There's no time! Grab your sword and come on!" He shouted, dragging Alluvial by the arm.

Alluvial shook with fear while he saw the fleet of hell spawn making its way to the gates. "What have I done?" He immediately ran to several other angels, trying his best to warn them. Hopefully he could get back to his armor, he would be in some trouble if he could not. He was worthless without it's protection. Sure he was fast, trained and lythe when it comes to combat, but that wouldn't be enough in this.
~*~
Amethyst marveled at the tenacity and bravado of the angels, but he was all the more fascinated by how easily they fell. It seemed that without their God they did seem to have a few troubles. Amethyst had warned his demon followers to leave as many as they could alive--out of pity? Hardly, he wanted more angels to convert to his side. It was all a matter of seducing, really.

A clash of metal brought him out of his musing and disinterested he looked to Ginji who had blocked a potential deadly blow to his Masters head. There was a short scuffle before the demon slew the opposing angel. Angrily Ginji turned to the King of Hell.

"Could you be any more helpless, Amethyst?" He snarled, unable to hide his exasperation.

Amethyst frowned at him. He was standing lazily, his hands folded into the openings of his cuffs, looking rather bored. "Oh... you got blood on my shoes..." The demon stepped back, turning his foot to stare at the splatter.

Ginji sighed heavily, "My Lord...please."

"Yes, yes. I will go and find the throne room. Don't wait for me." Amethyst waved his hand in the air and with a little push off the ground took flight into the air and began seek out Gods empty chambers.
~*~

Alluvial had been singaled out in the chambers of their lost God. He was close to tears as Gabriel was no where to be found. What was he to do? He could feel the presence of the king of Hell approaching and he grabbed his sword, using it in his left hand rather than his right for he had grabbed another's blade earlier with his good hand and now it was useless until healed. And that was something it was doing slowly. He deicded he would have to go defend the doors so he stood in front of them, bolting them shut and standing at the ready.

"I must be resilient. I MUST not let this happen." He hissed to himself, watching alertly for any other changes to be made.
~*~
Amethyst spotted the little silver-blond boy and he frowned deeply, not really having expected to meet Alluvial. Shrugging mentally Amethyst saw no other way around this predicament, for he sensed that the door the brat was guarding was more than likely the one he had to enter. Quietly, gracefully, Amethyst landed twenty or so feet away from the wounded angel and allowed his black wings to dissipate.

"We meet again, little one." The King of Hell greeted, smiling. "How are you?"
~*~
"How can you even ask this?" He quested before making a gesture to a lower balcony and then to the ground level where many angels lay strewn, bloody and beaten. "That is how I am doing. I fear I am the last standing. That I am the only thing keeping you from the position you so wish to reach. And I know I wont have the power to stand up to you.. not for long." He said, glaring at the ground. "I was wrong to go to you." He added as an afterthought before he held his sword pointed towards the other. "Yes, what you seek is behind this door, but I wont give it readily."
~*~
Amethyst frowned deeply, blinking blankly before following the others gesture. "Hm.." He mused, blinking at the carnage around him before returning his violet gaze to the other. "Really, quite sorry about all this... but unfortunately there's not much I can do about it... It'll all end if you step aside, dear Alluvial." Amethyst smiled charmingly, unfolding his hands from inside his cuffs and gesturing outwardly, "This will all end when I become King... All the blood, all the death.. all the pain and suffering--it'll all end. Do you really want to be the reason why so many of your fellow angels continue to suffer and die? I mean, honestly..." He sighed, and it sounded a little exaggerated. "I really don't want any of this at all, but you're forcing me to prolong this more than I would like..."
~*~
The words struck Alluvial painfully. The other was right. He had to of been. He had caused this all. All the pain. All the suffering. All the torment. He sighed bitterly. "I.. how do I know? How can I trust you?" He asked, trying his hardest to pick the best choice. He knew this was the end anyhow. The other would merely remove him from the door. He'd at least save himself from injury if he just stepped aside, and that is what he did. He put his blade away and went to his rooms, tears streaming down his face while he curled up in a long white blanket. So much had happened. The white halls of Heaven were stained red with the blood of angels. He sighed bitterly. For he knew, it was all his fault. And then the tears came further. What had he been thinking?
~*~
Amethyst watched the other leave with a frown and then began tugging on the bar over the door. Much to his dismay and slight embarrassment, the pretty boy couldn't quite get the bar to lift. "You stupid...son of a bitch." The violet-haired man snarled, kicking the door. "Open up, damn you!"

"Troubles, My Lord?"

Amethyst jumped and turned to eye a very bloody Ginji--whether the blood was his own or those of his victims, the King of Hell couldn't quite tell. The white-haired man looked away, crossing his arms daintily and sniffing, "Nothing's wrong. The door is just stuck."

Ginji sighed quietly before he made his way to the door and very easily lifted the bar. Amethyst gave him a dirty look before jerking the doors opened and strutting inside.

Inside it was about as beautiful and intricate as one could imagine Gods throne room to be. In fact, Amethyst found himself insanely jealous--why hadn't the Kings of Hells put this much time and effort into their design? Amethyst grumbled as he made his way to the throne. "So this is it? The throne thing... What do I do?"

"...Probably the same as what you did in Hell, My Lord..." Ginji muttered, wincing slightly as he reached up to put pressure on a wound over his bleeding biceps. "...just sit down."

"..." Amethyst decided not to comment on the others injury and instead strutted over to the throne and hiking up his ao dai sat down defiantly.
~*~
Alluvial felt the power of Heaven shift and knew it had been done. He sighed and went to his balcony, now in his simple robes again. He tried to force himself to smile. He was going to appoint the other anyhow right? So. things couldn't be half bad.

He decided that instead of moping he needed to be helping the others. He grabbed his medicines, making his way to the angels below. He winced in mental pain as he saw them all. "Oh... I am eternally sorry." He said softly.

He was about half way through, most had all ready healed themselves and were helping the others. He spotted Gabriel, his cheek cut. "Gabriel.." He whispered the Angel's name softly.

Gabriel smiled gently. "Don't blame yourself." He said, knowing that the other was at fault, but he forgave him. "We'll all be fine, Heaven has a way of always rebuilding itself. I will take over here. Why don't you resume your post.. or ask our new ruler what he requires of you."

Alluvial nodded. He felt a wave of relief surge through him at his companions words and he stode up to the throne room, opening the doors and sighing. "Amethyst, what are my duties? I was once the judgement, but obviously you aren't fond of that so what would you have me do?"
~*~
Amethyst meanwhile had sent for more healers, helping demons and angels alike with their recovery. The new King of Heaven wasn't exactly pleased by the deaths, but he realized they were unavoidable. He had dismissed Ginji for now, ordering him to rest and the white-haired "God" sat in his throne, looking rather small and helpless compared to the vastness of the throne room. When Alluvial entered he gave him more than a passing look of interest.

"What are you to do?" Amethyst repeated, blinking in surprise. He frowned, tapping his chin lightly with one finger. "Hm... Oh, I don't know. Go take a break. Have some time off. I don't really have anything for you to do as of right now... so..." The man shrugged. "Unless you know how to play Mahjong...?"

~*~

Alluvial shook his head. "No I don't know how to play. But since I am unrequired I will retire." He said, giving half of a bow before turning to leave the throne room. "You can't just leave us to all suffer out of boredom." He added before leaving. He made his way to his own rooms where he decided that a nap was very much in order. He slipped out of his outer robe, leaving only his inner robe on, which was more of a night robe if anything would describe it and it certainly parted like one while he lay on his bed, the robe hooked at his waist but still open over his legs. He was too tired to reach for his blankets to cover them. He wasn't cold either so he didn't bother.

A small sigh escaped Alluvial. He closed his eyes and began to drift off, having some rather embarrassing dreams about the new ruler that he hoped he wouldn't remember when he woke.

In fact the dream started that the other had him wrapped up in shackles, chained to a bed. And at first he wasn't in the room, but soon the dream remedied that and the ruler of Hell and now Heaven as well, was steadily undoing all of the chains, rawling atop of him as he did so. Alluvial began to blush darkly and began to try and wiggle out of the chains, but they were too tight for him to make much movement. Soon all except the ones around his wrist were undone and he couldn't move his legs unless it was to wrap them around the other's waist while he was being kissed with small kisses all the way up his body that he realized just that was naked. He blushed and woke with a start as the other began to kiss his lips. What had frightened him to awakening is that he had returned the kiss to the other.

"Why in the world am I having those dreams about him?" He asked himself before trying to close his eyes to go back to sleep, hoping the image that was now etched permanently onto his eyelids wouldn't still be there.
~*~
Amethyst blinked, obviously hurt by what the other had said and the new King of Heaven and Hell watched to boy leave. With a little noise of distress the violet eyed man fell back into his throne, crossing his legs sharply, brow furrowed in worry. "Suffer of boredom...?" Amethyst was a suffering of such, and realized he didn't quite enjoy entertaining the thought of allowing others to suffer boredom as well. "Aha!" The man sat up, punching one fist into his palm. "A ball! That oughta not be boring... At least then my little followers can all mingle together... Yes, yes... A ball! Or masquerade... Hmm... Ginji?" He turned his head and realized that his servant was not there and Amethyst frowned. Well...who then? Ah... the brat... He did say he was bored...

Amethyst rocked himself forward onto his feet before stretching high for the ceiling, allowing his body to shift back into place with several pops. In a comical matter, the man power walked out of the room and in search of the silly little boy that had somehow forced him to feel guilty.
~*~
Alluvial was no longer trying to sleep. Similar dreams to the one he was having earlier kept popping back up into his thoughts and it was a distraction. "Oh will I never sleep!" He growled distressed. He sighed and deicded it was time to read, grabbing his diary and re reding through his entries. He sighed and began to pen a new one. He was glad to be in his own room at least even though this person took over Heaven.
~*~
Amethyst was not exactly pleased. He obviously had little to no idea how to make his way around Heaven, and looking for that diminutive bratty angel wasn't exactly the easiest thing in the Heavens to do either. He was directed to many different areas of the Kingdom, and Amethyst was starting to wonder if he was being misguided on purpose. Finally, his impatience getting the better of him, the King turned sharply to one particular angel and pointing, vexed, he screamed, "Where in Heaven is the Angel called Alluvial!?"

The angel whom he happened to be yelling at gave him a deadpan stare that slowly turned to one of annoyance. "That way, Your Highness." The woman's tone was rather mocking and Amethyst gave her a withering stare before storming away, feeling like he was once again misguided. Finally, coming upon a door he simply kicked it as hard as he could.

"Are you in there, Alluvial!?" the violet-eyed man yelled.
~*~
Alluvial sighed at the kick and opened his door. "YES! I'm here!" He said, opening the door, anger written prettily all over his face. "What do you want!?" He asked, wanting to strike out at the other. He quickly slammed the door shut again though as he felt his robe slide open partly. He was blushing brightly. "Let me change first!"
~*~
Amethyst gave the other a deadpan stare while being yelled at, and flinched when the door was slammed. Annoyed, the silvery-haired man crossed his arms, sniffing. "...I knew this one was a little brat..." The man debated momentarily whether to simply throw open the door and demand to be heard, but he reasoned that if he wanted a functioning Heaven, as Hell was, he would have to win some respect. This little one could be troublesome... A deviant grin spread across his lips and giggling he turned away, striding across the hall to stand over the balcony and gaze out at the Heavens below... Alluvial would see things his way... Amethyst was sure of this.
~*~
Aluvial dressed quickly in both sets of his robes so he was very nicely covered. He reopened his door. "Well, what can I do for you sir?" He asked, looking up at the other, the blush on his cheeks fading just a little. "And forgive the door slamming. My robe was.. not intact.." He said huffing a little bit as he finished his explanation.
~*~
Amethyst quirked one delicate eyebrow at the angel before leaning back on the railing, facing the other man. He tilted his head and his long hair cascaded around his face elegantly. "Well... you brought to my attention that you wish not to die of boredom... I can sympathize. I also realize that I may not be the most... loved God to-ever-be, so I would like to do a little... oh, masquerade or ball or something of that nature to help bring your angels and my demons together. I have no idea where anything is here, nor do I feel like dumping this all on my personal assistant... So, you..." Amethyst leaned forward, grinning, "are now designated to conjure up some silly little ball. Understand?"
~*~
Alluvial sighed. Of course he would be given scraps for work. "You do realize the ballroom is directly through the doors to the left.. the open doors to your left? But okay.. I guess I can send out the word and decorate. What day and time do you want this all done by?" He asked, pulling out writing tablet and a quill that was magically injected with ink at all times when needed. He wrote down the important things he had heard so far, nibbling the tip of the quill while he listened, looking up at the other in waiting.
~*~
Amethyst pursed his lips thoughtfully before shrugging, "Oh, I don't know. Throw it whenever you get everything together. I'm in no hurry." He pushed off the railing, leaning over and staring intently at the others face. "...Hm."
~*~
Alluvial blinked several times and then blushed as the other leaned over to him. "Um, is something wrong?" He asked, noticing the expression the other wore was the same that had been on him in his dream. He refused to break eye contact with the other. While he was subordinate to the other, he wouldn't be frightened.
~*~
"...Your face. It just... Reminded me of someone I knew a long time ago." The man trailed off and straightened, looking uncharacteristically sad. "Well... Take your time then, dear Alluvial," he continued quietly, "I have high expectations for you."
~*~
Alluvial wondered if reminding Amethyst of another wa sa good thing or a bad thing, by the saddened look he was judging as closer to bad. "I will do my best." He said, wondering whether or not to help the other. He decided that he should at least extend hand. "If you.. you know.. ever need to talk. You know where to find me." He said, giving a small curtsey before takin off to the ball room where he stood in the large room, happy it had been untouched in the fighting. "Well.. shouldn't be too much." He quickly sketched out what he would like to do to the room and gathered a few of the other angels. Since everyone was done fighting and healed the air was a lot less tense, but there was a feeling of anger from the angels that the demons of hell were in their home.

There was nothing Alluvial wanted more than for things to be back to normal, but he knew they weren't going to be, probably never again. He sighed and recruited a few to help him with curtains and lovely decorations. And after a few hours he was only a quarter of the way done with them. He decided to make the ball in two nights. That would be plenty of time. He would have to gather everyone for a message. He put his best robes on and retrieved the summoning bells, ringing them gladly, smiling as the angels came to the meeting conference room. "Umm.. will someone let the hell spawn know that means for a meeting?"
~*~
"...My Lord? There's a summons by that child..." Ginji said quietly, peaking his head in. Amethyst was lying face down on his bed, stripped of all his clothing with exception of his baggy white pants. Ginji cleared his throat when the other didn't respond and Amethyst let out a sigh. "My Lord, did you hear me?"

"Yes, Ginji... Go in my stead. I'm not feeling much of doing anything. Give me the details later." Amethyst's tone was flat and humorless, something that caused more than a fleeting moment of concern from his assistant.

"My Lord, is there something the matter?" Ginji continued quietly, worriedly after a moment.

"In all due time, Ginji.. Now be off."

Bowing, Ginji retreated from the room, collecting several other demons on his way to the conference room. He mused quietly at his Master's strange lethargic state and upon entering the conference room, his eyes fell on Alluvial. Ginji frowned deeply; perhaps this boy was the cause of his Master's distress? Ginji's eyes narrowed dangerously, but he said nothing, awaiting for the angel to state his business.
~*~

Alluvial sighed as the Hell Spawn finally all arrived. "There will be a ball in two nights from now, roughly nine pm. Dress your best and choce a partner." He said, making a large poster. "Any other questions come find me. We could also use more volunteers on the room. Thank you all for arriving." He said, stepping down from the podium to resume his work on the room. Hours more passed with a few more volunteers and then he was finally done. He felt the room was beautiful. He tried to make it a blend of the two sides. The drapes were fiery red as he knew the hell spawn would love, the marble floor was black, as was the ceiling, both shining with glitter to mimick stars, and the walls were white with silver etchings along them as always. Tables were set up so that food and refreshments could be made when the time came.

With everything finished he knew the atmosphere would be nice. He went up to the new ruler's chambers and knocked lightly on the door. If he got an answer he didn't hear it and came in anyhow. Upon seeing the other on the bed in only a pair of pants he fought hard to not blush. "Um, sir, would you come to look at it with me and tell me any suggestions?" He asked, biting his lower lip in a mental battle to destroy his mind's image.
~*~
Amethyst turned his head just enough so that he could eye the other for a moment and then sighed, turning away. "...I appreciate how quickly you are bringing things together, but I'm sure that whatever you've decided is adequate enough. You don't need my approval for everything, do you? I may be your new God, but that doesn't mean that everything has to be my way." Amethyst dropped his head into his pillow and sighed heavily. "Ginji told me it's two nights from now? That should be fine and everyone should have enough time to make arrangements..." He frowned into the pillow, musing quietly. Who was it he was going with anyways? Ginji? Probably not... Ginji would die of embarrassment... Who else then? The brat? Amethyst wiggled nervously where he lay, not really understanding why before curling up... Was the brat still there? Ah, well. He'd go away if he was ignored. He didn't seem the type to stick around when he wasn't appreciated.
~*~

Alluvial frowned at the other. "Well.. would you at least come and tell me if you like it?" He asked, sighing. He wanted the other to see what he had spent the whole day creaitng. "Please?" He quested. "I would really appreciate you looking." He said, looking down while he blushed brightly. "I mean.. you know.. I would like to get your opinion on it." He said, seeming to be talking himself into circles.
~*~
Amethyst groaned, loudly before pushing himself up, and swinging his legs over the bed. He stood, stormed over to the other and grabbed him by the arm before marching him outside, not even bothering to dress. What the hell did he care? For some reason Alluvial's very presence was driving him insane and he wasn't particularly sure as to why. He was just some bratty little kids, wasn't he? But even so... that face... Amethyst tried to shake the strange nostalgic feelings bubbling up inside him and instead focused on finding the ballroom. Much to his dismay, he seemed to be wandering aimlessly.
~*~
Alluvial blinked several times and then slowly led the other in way of the ballroom. "It's in here." He said, pulling the other in after him. "What do you think? I tried to bring both cultures together." He said, not letting the other go, finding himself quite pleased absently holding to him. "I couldn't think of anything outside of glitter to make stars and.. well.. it will be a dark room of course since it's themed for night time.. and there will be food here and refreshments." He looked up at the other to see what he thought.
~*~
Amethyst muttered quietly upon being led away, slightly embarrassed, but didn't make much of a fuss. He stared blankly around the room, feeling detached. He however nodded slightly, forcing a smile. "It looks wonderful. Thank you Alluvial. You have done well."
~*~
Alluvial nodded. "Thank you.. are you okay?" He asked, looking up at the other. "Who are you going with tomorrow?" He asked, still not having let go of the other. " I might not go, I don't have anyone to go with." Alluvial said, shrugging while he awaited the other's answer.
~*~
Amethyst looked down at the other silently for a long moment before shrugging his shoulders and folded his arms across his bare chest. He decided to ignore the first question and instead distract the other, " It'd be a pity for you not to go since you organized most of this... so, why don't I be your escort?" He grinned playfully and a sparkle seemed to grow back in his violet eyes. "What do you say, my Alluvial?"
~*~
Alluvial hadn't really been expecting to be asked and found he almost gasped but he looked away a moment, thinking of a good answer before he looked up at the other. "If you can get one thing through your mind. One, we go as just acquaintances, and two I don't belong to you, so stop calling me 'yours'." He said, not really caring about the second. He found the sparkle in the other's eyes practically irresistable. He blushed while he looked at it, chewing his lower lip confused at his thoughts.
~*~
Amethyst attempted to hide his hurt he felt from the others words, so he simply laughed, throwing a hands over his eyes and turned away, "But of course, Mister Alluvial. I would have it no other way. I will see you the day after tomorrow then?" Amethyst simply couldn't quite grasp why this little brat resisted him so much...
~*~
Alluvial felt a pout come to him as the other spun away. He wasn't sure what he had wanted, but it certainly wasn't for the other to spin away. He shrugged though. "All right, the day after tomorrow it is then." He said, giving a swift bow and glancing at the other. "Anything you need? I'm about to retire."
~*~
Amethyst paused, his laughter dying away and his hand slowly slid away from his face. He stared intently at the ceiling, not really wanting to turn around and address the other. He shivered slightly, realizing that even Heaven itself had its cold drafts. "...Nothing you could possibly sustain, Mister Alluvial." He glanced over his shoulder and smiled, "Have a good evening." With that he started back towards his room, feeling rather frustrated and strangely inadequate. That face... why was it so familiar?
~*~

Alluvial didn't have one inkling of understanding the other. "Nothing I could sustain? What the hell is that supposed to mean?" He asked himself while pondering a moment before just shrugging and giving up on it for now. After all, there was a feast to plan and that's what he did when he went back to his room. He made sure there would be plenty of food and refreshments and then instructed cooks to cook it. It would take all of the day and a half. All Alluvial had to do then was wait. So, he decided that after such a long day he could finally grant himself some rest. And he did so, opting this time to stay in his robes rather than risk another embarassing situation as of earlier happenings.
~*~
Annoyed Amethyst wandered aimlessly about Heaven, attempting to find his room in a lazy matter. After receiving several goggle-eyed stares for his lack of clothing the King of Heaven and Hell realized he should probably focus on returning to his room. Frustrated he continued to wander until finally he gave with a sigh and threw himself at the edge of a a small koi pond--somehow he had ended up in the garden. He hiked up his pants and shoved his feet into the cool water, shivering slightly.

"Hm..." He mused, wrapping his arms around his legs and resting his chin on his upraised knees. "Where have I seen that face? Though it's mostly those eyes... where have I seen them?" Amethyst sighed loudly, hoping that Ginji would grow distressed upon finding his empty bed and come looking for him.
~*~
Alluvial wasn't sleeping for long. He woke as he felt a tug in the force around his pond and garden. He sighed irritably and threw his covers off, hoping none of the hell spawn had decided to just tresspass in his garden. When he saw the other he paused. "Sir, are you quite lost? This is my pond and garden...."
~*~
Amethyst turned a glare to the other, and once seeing it was Alluvial he blinked away his surprise before turning away and pulling his feet from the water. "Oh." He replied flatly, though made no other movements to leave or respond to the other.
~*~
Alluvial smiled a bit. "Worry not, you may keep yourself there. I just.. wondered if you were lost." He said, taking a seat beside the other. "What brings you out here anyhow?" He asked, looking at his reflection, pouting just slightly while his hair slipped over his shoulder to get wettened in the water.
~*~
Amethyst laced his fingers together and stretched out his long legs, letting them dip into the surface and not minding that the edges of his pants began to soak up water. "I guess I don't know my way around Heaven yet." He smirked slightly, staring at their reflections and then sighed, looking up towards the sky. It was strange.... in Hell there was no blue skies, clean air... Amethyst frowned, musing this over. Why was that? But, it mattered not anymore. Amethyst was the rightful ruler of both. It was only a matter of time before he managed to meld the two together. Amethyst ran his tongue over his teeth and lolled his head about to eye the man sitting beside him. "It must be so nice being pure, hm?" He laughed and shook his head, rubbing his eyes and looking away, "I'm sorry, that was a strange thing to say, no?"
~*~
"I don't think it would have been the case." Alluvial said, looking at the ground. "My mother made me pure. I have only one known memory of her. She sacrificed herself somehow for me, and I remember her the day before saying I would be up where the angels roamed." He paused a moment. "I don't remember anything about her other than those words. I can't remember even where I was when she said them to me, either. " He frowned. "Do you hate me for being pure?"
~*~
"Your mums dead then? Hm... I never really knew mine. You should just be happy you actually had her. She sounds like she was a good person to you." Amethyst laughed a little uncomfortably, rubbing the back of his head. "...And I don't think I hate you for being pure. More jealous than anything." Amethyst smiled somewhat sadly, "You must think me strange for talking to you so openly about this, hm?" He stretched his arms over his head, yawning and then took hold of his hair as if it were in a pony tail and then tossed it up in the air, letting it fall back around him in lovely locks of white. The demon fell backwards onto the grass, crossing his hands over his bare chest and staring up at the sky. "...Your world is so pure... I am so jealous of that. I don't think you know what it's like growing up in a world of darkness..." He grinned up at the other, "Especially when you're a half breed like me--not really belonging anywhere." He began to laugh then, and it sounded slightly insane, but overall somewhat charming.
~*~
Alluvial smiled lightly at the other at first before his smile faltered. "You may be half. But you're pure. I wouldn't have come to you were you not mainly so." He said, laying back to stare at the moonlit cloudy sky. "Yes, we do have things up here that you don't. You can change it though.. you're the ruler. You're obviously very new to ruling. The last rulers of hell were as well. It becomes what you make it when you seat the throne." He said, looking at him "It seems you're more pure than you thought, Heaven hasn't changed hardly at all." He said, smiling and absentmindedly scooting closer to the other. "And don't be jealous of me, you could have just as much." He said, smiling softly, leaning slightly on the other while he looked up at him. "Or would you deny yourself that happiness?"
~*~
Amethyst pursed his lips and his eyes narrowed slightly as he eyed the other. He licked his lips and returned his gaze back to the sky. "Well... I don't really know how to answer that. As your new ruler I feel that I can make everyone happy. I don't think that there's a particular thing that makes anyone one person pure, because it's all a crock of shit if you ask me. Purity can't be measured on a scale, so why the fuck even pretend it exists?" He let out an annoyed huff. "Ah well, kid..." He trailed off, "What would you like to see change in Heaven, anyways? You live here, so I don't know what's fucked up and what's not. Any ideas?"
~*~
Alluvial was thrown off by Amethyst's words, but quickly regained his thoughts. "I wouldn't of had a job if that was the case. Purity describes your ability to love, be honest, be true and not wrong others." He sighed and looked away a moment as the other let out the annoyed huff and he layed his head fully on Amethyst's shoulder. At the next set of words he looked back up to him. "I don't think Heaven needs to be changed. You've changed it enough just having demons and hell spawn here. And I am glad it's been accepting to say the least. The change must be good for Heaven for the gates to continue accepting you. So I haven't any ideas." He said, yawning.
~*~
Amethyst let the arm closest to Alluvial drop around the other absently and he pulled him a little closer. "You don't say? Out of a job... Hm.. well, we wouldn't want that, now would we Mister Alluvial?" The man yawned quietly himself, rubbing his eyes with his free hand. "...Ruling Heaven and Hell is quite a lot of work. I realize now why they were separate Kingdoms."
~*~
"Yes, it's not exactly easy. What would you have me work as?" He asked, taking initiative to get comfortable against the other, snuggling practically. He tried to ignore the flip-floppy butterfly feeling that other seemed to bring out in him while being embraced.
~*~
"Oh, I don't know. I think Ginji would become jealous if I made you my personal assistant..." The man giggled quietly behind his free hand, "Though in all reality having a demon and angel assistant is rather reasonable, don't you think? The best of two worlds... relatively speaking, of course. How would you enjoy that? Being my... assistant?"
~*~
"I would be more than happy." Alluvial said, smiling that he was going to be given probably a very close to the other position. He realized also that he was happy because not only would he be helping the other with delicate issues, but he would see a lot more of him and the thought made him sigh and blush, making him wonder why these strange feelings kept surfacing.
~*~
Amethyst grinned at the other, noticing the blush but before he could comment he was jarred away from his thoughts with a stern, slightly abashed voice, "My Lord, what are you doing?"

Blinking, Amethyst tilted his head back and could see some very familiar boots. His eyes slowly raised up the tower figure to meet his personal assistant's troubled face. Amethyst smiled up at him, "You found me, Ginji! I was starting to worry..."

"My Lord, please put some clothes on. I brought this with me once realizing he hadn't dressed yourself upon leaving." Slightly embarrassed Ginji held up a simple lavender robe which he hadn't been too happy about having to rummage through his lords disarray of a room to find. "...you may be immortal, but you can still catch a cold."

"Ever the thoughtful, my Ginji." Amethyst laughed. He blinked over at the man cuddling up to his side and then poked him gently in the forehead, "This one is my new personal assistant along with you, Ginji. Get along, will you?"

Ginji blinked widely in surprise, dropping his crimson gaze down to the little, innocent angel. His lips thinned into a unappreciative thin line and he forced a stiff bow. "As you wish, My Lord." Amethyst, meanwhile didn't quite seem to catch the others obvious disdain for the angel and unwrapping his arm from Alluvial he stood. Ginji was more than eager to robe his master and shield him from prying eyes. Ginji turned his mistrustful glare to Alluvial before turning away. "I will return you to your chambers, My Lord."

"Yes... I suppose that would be appropriate." Amethyst agreed with a sigh.
~*~
Alluvial glared at Ginji and sighed when the other was no longer with his arms about him. When the other turned away to go he reached out and grabbed his hand. "Is there anything else you need from me?" He asked, looking up at him pleadingly. It was as though he did't want to be sent away.
~*~
Amethyst couldn't help but grin, "Need anything else? Why... there are all kinds of things I allegedly could 'need' from you, Mister Alluvial... However," He crouched down so they could be at eye-level again and he tilted his head at the angel, "However I doubt you would willing fill those needs."

"My Lord..." Ginji muttered quietly from afar, "Don't you think he's a little too innocent for such thoughts?"

Amethyst laughed loudly, brushing at his eyes before standing. "Yes, I suppose you're right, Ginji. Mister Alluvial?" He offered his hand, "Why don't you worry about looking pretty for the ball? You wouldn't want to embarrass me, now would you?" Amethyst's sly, cunning grin appeared again and his eyes flickered about the other's body rather suggestively.
~*~

Alluvial had gasped just a little when the other looked at him, and then he blushed brilliantly. "Y-yes I should worry about that, shouldn't I?" He asked, feeling the familiar butterflies when the other looked him up and down. "Well, I am hoping the same from you." He said, trying to regain his composure before realizing that could be taken sexually if anything. "I mean, with being dressed and all." He said, taking the offered hand, wondering why it was offered to him.
~*~
Amethyst helped the other to his feet and then tossed back his own hair, "Me? I always look dashing, haven't you realized this by now?" He giggled quietly before leaning down and kissing the other on the cheek, "Well.. I'll see you later Mister-Acquaintance-Only. Ta-ta for now!" He turned away and along with Ginji continued off towards his room.
~*~
Aluvial couldn't deny that he was practically floating as the other kissed his cheek. He touched the spot where he had been kissed and watched the other leave. By now his blush had calmed down, been brought back and then re-calmed down again. He didn't like being considered only an acquaintance. "That's not fair.." He mumbled before sighing and going back to his own room, immediatly looking for the proper outfit to wear when being aside the other. And he had found which it would probably be. A beautiful gown like set of robes that were entwined in gold and green so it matched his eyes and it was decorated with patterns of flowers and feathers. He smiled at the garment. It would be perfect. Dressy, but not too bad. He grinned, and suddenly liked how short the inner robe was, it would please the other. And then again for the thousandth time he blushed about such a thing. Why did he want to please the other? He looked and decided a pair of white and gold and green sandals would be best to wear with the outfit and then smiled, going to bed to dream about the other, and this time he secretly welcomed the dream.
~*~
"My Lord... do you really understand what you're doing?" Ginji asked with a sigh.

"Mmm...Hmm?" Amethyst blinked up at the other, "What do you mean?"

"Making that boy your... assistant."

"Aw, feeling inadequate, my Ginji? Don't worry. The little boy already made it clear that he wants nothing more than being acquaintances." The last part dripped off his tongue with a certain air of disdain, but the man shrugged lightly anyhow. "But I'd like you to do something for me, Ginji."

"And what's that, My Lord?" Ginji asked, stopping before a door. Amethyst gave him a funny look and Ginji sighed again, nearly sweatdropping, "Your chambers, my Lord..."

"Oh..." Amethyst eyed the door, not really recognizing it at all but shrugged anyhow. "I want a background check. Bring me anything you know on that man. Alluvial... The Angel of Judgement, I believe he called himself." Amethyst pushed opened his door, looking back at Ginji's confused expression.

"A background check, Your Highness?"

"...I feel like I've seen him somewhere before." Amethyst replied, hesitantly.

"What if you find something you don't exactly approve of, Amethyst?" It was strange for Ginji to refer to his master by his first name, but this trait only appeared when Ginji was allowing the side that was friends with his master surface.

Amethyst shrugged, "This bothers me too much not to know. Now be off. I wish to be alone." With that the King entered his chambers, closed the doors and for the second time that day disrobed and collapsed into his bed, thinking very hard about that strange little boy named Alluvial.
~*~
Alluvial frowned when he noticed he couldn't sleep right away. He sighed and tossed and turned but nothing could calm him. He deicded to wander around the halls, sighing in his sheer practically see through dressing gown. He huffed and then realized he was standing directly in front of the new ruler's door, wnodering exactly what in the hell he was doing in front of the door. "Wow.. wandering really brings people to funny places." He said, staring as he stood in front of the door. "Why am I here again?" He asked himself, haking his head before making his way back to his own room, finally laying back down and able to go to sleep.

And again he had a strange dream about the other, being taken, loved and molested. He gave a small moan in his sleep while he dreamt of the other taking him. He really did need to stop having those dreams. He couldn't wait to wake up and yet he didn't want to wake up, but there was a whole lot of food to prepare.
~*~
Amethyst himself didn't sleep well, and by five that morning the man finally climbed from his bed and wandered to one of the windows, overlooking the garden. He crossed his arms across his chest and frowned thoughtfully at it. Every time he looked out this window he would think of that boy... That Alluvial. Amethyst laughed softly, dropping his tired face into one hand and then leaning his forehead against the window, sighing. Damn that kid... How dare he occupy his thoughts. Amethyst lifted his face, letting his hand rub against his lips broodingly. What in the Hells was he going to do?
~*~
It was early the next morning when Alluvial woke up.He yawned and went to the kitchens, plased to see many many of the cooks all ready at work. He began to help them as well. It would be a few hours of cooking worth to do and all he could do was sit there and cook. He yawned, knowing the cooks would take care of the next night's entrees, but now he was preparing cold deserts and such for the next night.
~*~
There was a knock on the door, and jerking himself from his light doze Amethyst called out, "Come in."

Ginji appeared, a folder in hand. He gave the his master a long stare. "You...look awful, My Lord."

"...You know that's impossible." Amethyst sniffed, scowling. "What is that? The boy's papers?"

"...Well." Ginji fingered the end of the folder absently, noting his Master's dreadfully tired face and messy attire. "...Not entirely." The man lied, "I would like some time to investigate what I have found. WIll you not try to rest some, Lord Amethyst? It's still quite early."

"I'm fine. Give me the damn papers." Amethyst snapped holding out his hand while his other hand found the curve in his waist. Ginji raised both eyebrows at him. "...When I get out of my shower, I expect those papers to be waiting me."

"Of course, My Lord." Ginji replied, trying not to smile. Amethyst narrowed his eyes and very promptly began stripping. Embarrassed, Ginji turned away, "I'll be in you office, sir."

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever." the naked man grumbled, striding across the room to the shower room. When Ginji was sure the other was gone, he frowned at the folder in his hand. Amethyst seemed far too worked up over the boy...and what if he found out about this? Ginji frowned deeply and after a moment of thought decided to find the root of his Lords problem himself. Quietly, so not to arouse any suspcion, Ginji went in search of Alluvial.
~*~
Alluvial was just coming out of the kitchens when he saw Ginji. "How are you today, lord Ginji?" He quested, more of a passing question than anything while he went in search of more mixing spoons in a cupboard down the halway. He blushed while remembering the dream he had about Amethyst and wondered what the said other would say were he to tell him of the dream.
~*~
"Ah. Lord Alluvial. May I have a moment of your time." Ginji questioned, holding up the folder in his hand and frowning. The man eyed the angel quietly, awaiting response.
~*~
Alluvial nodded, giving the other a questioning look. "Certainly, what may you need help with?" He asked, standing a respectful distance and trying to seem as lax as possible.
~*~
"I was asked by the King to do some snooping about you." Ginji stated plainly, holding up the folder. "Though what I found I can hardly believe My Lord would be very happy to learn. You see, my Lord is very secretive man and very few know that he is not a full-blooded demon. Fortunately for him, his wretched excuse of a mother abandoned him long before he could possibly imprint many details about her into his memory. However, that doesn't stray from the fact that he did indeed have a angelic mother." Ginji's crimson eyes narrowed dangerously, "According to my records, the very mother that abandoned him centuries ago is of the same name and origins as your mother. Are you understanding what I'm getting at, Lord Alluvial?" Ginji opened the folder, pulled a photo from it and held it out to Alluvial. "I need you to confirm that this woman is indeed your mother."
~*~
Alluvial's eyes widened as he saw the picture, a flash of memory slipping through his features. "Mother...." He whispered. "Yes, this is her." He felt his mind reel and then all of a sudden a thought struck him. "I'VE BEEN HAVING PERVERTED THOUGHTS AND LUSTFULL DREAMS ABOUT MY BROTHER!?" He shouted in question, very alarmed with himself. He clapped his hand over his mouth and blushed brightly. "Does.. does Amethyst know of this? The photo and everything?" He asked, shaking with the revelation. "I had no idea..."
~*~
Ginji's mouth went slack and his eyes widened, "Yo-You... I... Well.." Ginji cleared his throat, obviously a little embarrassed at the others outburst. "Amethyst does not know." Ginji said, closing his eyes and turning away. "Though the truth itself would probably devastate him..." Ginji eyed the picture in his hand before sighing and returning it to the folder. "I was ordered to give him the results... however..." He trailed off, frowning. The dark-skinned man looked at the little pretty boy standing beside him. "...You." He snorts with laughter and shook his head. "Of all the people, why you?" Promptly Ginji began to tear the photo apart. When he was finished he simply tossed the tiny pieces into the air, letting them drift lazily to the ground. "You're a difficult person to find in the records, you know, Alluvial." Ginji said quietly, hoping the other would catch on. "A shame really. Master Amethyst really did want to know about you. A shame I couldn't find anything."
~*~
Alluvial felt very very hurt suddenly. He picked up the tiny pieces and slid to his knees. He felt tears well up in his eyes. "Why are you doing this? Why would it devestate him? Why does it matter?" He asked, trying to piece the photo back together. "AMETHYST! He shouted, hoping the other would hear him and come to his aid in this. "Why would it matter?" He asked again, glaring. "I think you're just jealous. I think you're pissed off because he wants me and not you!" He said, rising steadily, keepng the pieces clutched in his hands. "Get over yourself." He turned on his heel and began walking up to Amethyst's rooms, wishing the other would come and meet him.
~*~
Ginji frowned as he watched the other man storm out. Didn't he realize he was trying to protect Amethyst? With a sigh, Ginji realized that the silly angel probably did not...

Amethyst meanwhile had existed his room earlier, dressed in his normal attire, but his long hair was wet and stringy about his elegant frame. The silvery-haired man noticed Alluvial. "Oh. You. Come to see me so early in the morning?" Amethyst flashed a grin, "How may I help you, Mister Alluvial? Problems with the ball? With your gown... oh my, is it too revealing?" He gasped playfully, "You want to dress in matching colors?" He began to laugh quietly at himself, shaking his head.

~*~
Alluvial frowned and shook his head. "Promise me that after what I reveal to you that no matter what it is we'll still go to the ball together?" He asked, his hand that clutched the pieces of the photo opened slowly and he again tried to piece them out. "Ginji... found this. He was going to keep it from you. That's why it's ripped up. It's .. a picture of my mother.. Our mother. We're brothers." He said softly, handing the other a makeshift image of what was left of the photo. "He .. was trying to cover it up but I thought you would like to know. You did demand a background check afterall.." He said, looking sadly up at the other. "I have a horrible feeling that this will change much with us, and I don't want that. I want to go to the ball with you. I don't want the dreams to stop.."
~*~
Amethyst stared, horrified at the torn picture and then back up to Alluvial. His mouth had gone slack and true unimaginable dread filled his eyes. "...You're... my..." His eyes fell back to the picture and then returned to Alluvial. "...I see." His fingers clenched around the photo and swallowing thickly he closed his eyes. "...So. You're what she did with her life after she left me." He licked his lips slowly and then returned his violet, narrowed eyes to his recently revealed kid brother. He searched for something to say, but couldn't quite articulate his thoughts. "You have her eyes." He finally said flatly, "That's why you look so familiar. I remember those eyes. How could I have forgotten them?" He chuckled quietly, shaking his head. "I don't even know what to say to you, kid."
~*~
Alluvial could all ready feel the rejection settling in. "No.. you can't cast me away.." He pleaded, looking up with tears begining. "Why don't you know what to say to me? Why have you stopped saying my name? You can't...You just can't. "He pleaded, "Please. Let us continue how we were. Why would this matter? So what, we're related. Should that stop things from being this way? Should that stop us from going to the ball, should that stop me from being your assistant? Should that stop the dreams?" He asked desperately, grabbing the other's hand in his tightly.
~*~
Amethyst eyed the other hesitantly. "...No, I suppose it shouldn't change much of anything. I mean..." He raised his other hand to lie it over Alluvial's. "I've never been one to follow the rules, now have I?" He smiled, and for once it seemed genuine and without any sort of perversion. "I asked you to be mine at the ball, and I asked you to be my assistant--I'm a man of my word. I told you that you could be those things, my Alluvial..." He leaned down then, raising the hand that wasn't being held by the angel and lifted the other mans chin up so their eyes could meet more easily. "And...tell me of these dreams you keep speaking of, my Alluvial. Are they... interesting dreams?"
~*~
Alluvial blushed, his eyes darted from the other's eyes to his lips and back up to his eyes again. "Yes.. you could say they are of interest." He blushed darker as he recounted them. "They're.. lustfull in nature." He said, looking away now that he had admitted it. He found it hard to believe he was able to say what they were about. "You're in them.. I am in them, we're doing things in them that would be considered inapropriate in the least bit. They are...they don't keep me awake nor do they help me sleep. They're strange." He said, looking up at the other, wondering what he was going to say next.
~*~
Amethyst's grin widened, "I'm in your dreams now, am I? How appropriate, for I cannot chase you from mine..." He chuckled quietly, leaning closer. "Inappropriate dreams, you say? How... interesting. Are they bothersome to you... or do you enjoy them?" His grin seemed to twist into something more of a knowing smirk.
~*~
Alluvial felt as though his eyes were going to slide shut and that he was about to lean up to kiss the other. He was able to hold his ground, and of course as an angel he had to answer honestly. "At first I was hateful of them.. now I welcome them. I do enjoy them, yes." He said, his blush ever resilient to stay attached to his smooth and fair cheeks. He couldn't help but the other's statement caught him. "You've had dreams about me as well?"
~*~
Amethyst chuckled quietly at the others rosy-cheeks and straightened, caressing the other mans cheek with the back of his fingers. "Yes, my Alluvial--oh, excuse me, " Putting on a stern, but obviously teasing tone he restated, Mister Alluvial, your pretty little face follows me everywhere, in the conscious world and dream land..." He laughed softly, his hand reaching into the others hair and he tangled his fingers into it gently, admiring the softness. "You have a powerful affect on me, little one."
~*~
Alluvial felt his eyes close and he leaned into the touch as the other ran his fingers through his hair. "As you do me.. and I am not little." He said with a small pout. He knew the other was more or less referring to his size, and that made him a little anxious. He wasn't that short. Not that he thought anyhow. He couldn't believe the other was being so gentle with him, his heart was beating faster and slower at a constant changing rate. He thought he would die should it not slow down. "I.. can't wait for tomorrow." He said, opening his eyes again to peer up at the other to gauge his response.
~*~
"I hope you're wearing something..." Amethyst searched for the word, and then just simply laughed. "Whatever the case, I'm sure it'll please me greatly, don't you agree?" Humming Amethyst took Alluvial's right hand in his and let his other hand slip around the others waist and with a gentle jerk began to lead him around in wide, quick, exaggerated dance steps. "You're going to enjoy it, little Alluvial. I promise that you will have the time of your life... if you don't... Well... I'll give Heaven back to the angels." He stopped their mock dance before stooping down to place a kiss on Alluvial's hand. "Agreed?"
~*~

Alluvial nodded, givng a tiny gasp when he was pulled against the other. He bit his lower lip to stop any noise that was surely threatening to break out. "Mn. I am sure I will enjoy it greatly." He said, feeling his breath catch when the other kissed his hand. "Agreed." He said, smiling. "Believe me, I wont dissapoint you in my attire and appearance. I should probably head back to the kitchens and make sure things are running smoothly. And then I should prepare for tomorrow." He said, giving the other a bashfull smile and a bow. "Until tomorrow night?"
~*~
"Until tomorrow..." Amethyst agreed, "I should probably get back to my...duties..." He shrugged, "Hopefully Ginji will have them prepared for me. Haha! One can only dream." He bowed once more and then giving a playful salute he turned and made his way back to the throne room.
~*~

Alluvial smiled and practically skipped to his room, he was certainly humming to himself. He made sure his outfit for the next night was in order after he checked in with the kitchens again and then decided some sleep was very much in need. He was terribly excited. He slipped into his sheer nightgown and crawled under his covers, drifting off to dream of the other.
~*~
Later that evening when Ginji walked him to his room (Amethyst still hadn't figured out Heaven quite yet) he stopped, blinking at his assistant. "Who are you going with, Ginji?"

"I don't dance." The other stated flatly.

"Oh? Well... That's a shame. Are you sure?" Ginji gave the other a level stare and Amethyst laughed nervously, waving his hands in the air, "Okay, I got it. I'm sorry, dear Ginji. Do you really not know how to dance or is it the kid?"

"...I have two left feet." Ginji replied, sniffing indigently. "Now go to bed, Master. I'm sure he wouldn't be too happy to have to lug around a half-sleeping dance partner."

Amethyst sighed and shook his head at the other, but decided not to comment on the venomous tone of the other. "Good night, Ginji." the man muttered, going into his room.

"Good night, my Lord." Ginji replied quietly, eyeing the closed door. His crimson gaze flickered about to stare at the garden sitting so serenely in the moonlight... that bastards garden.
~*~

Alluvial dreamt again of he and the other in a compromising manner, he was being taken in a rather interesting position this time, he felt rather folded over, but he was very much enjoying it. It was to his disdain when he woke the next afternoon, he was a bit aroused and he had over slept. He gasped in panick and went to shower, and after doing so he was pleased to have the water dry on his hair rather quick as was an angel's resiliancy. He slipped on his gown he would be wearing for the night.

The dress like robes of green, white and gold encased him in a tailored style, accenting his lean figure deliciously. The pattern of flowers and feathers that was embroidered into the garment matched his hair and eyes perfectly in color. He still didn't like too much that his inner robe was hardly down his thigh, but it would have to do. It's how it was made after all. He blushed while he pulled the ensemble together, he didn't look half bad at all. And the final touches were a light shaddowing of white over his eyes, and for his hair to drape about him gently. He pulled on his sandals that matched his outfit and slipped on several rings and a pendant of an angel. He smiled at his reflection, applying a small amount of glossy fruit onto his lips to keep them moist through the night. And thus he was ready and he wondered whether to go to Amethyst or wait the other to come to him.
~*~
Amethyst wanted to settle on dressing himself in the most (and somewhat least) amount of clothes he possibly. For the most part, his attire was simple, lavender in color, and trimmed with amethyst stones (which he found to be appropriate). The robes opened up loosely in the front, exposing most if not all of his pale smooth chest, and they reached just above his knees. As an after thought he decided to wear pants underneath, he hadn't thought much of even wearing them at first, but decided that the loose-fitting white dress pants would be in the very least keep Alluvial from fainting from embarrassment. The thought of carrying the unconscious angel from the ballroom wasn't exactly a displeasing thought, but Amethyst was a kind (though somewhat devious) man and decided to think in Alluvial's best interest.

Eying the mirror quietly, Amethyst pulled his white locks up into a loosely pinned and somewhat chaotic bun that seemed almost like a raging white waterfall of pure natural beauty. He decided he didn't have much else to do except wait for the night and get the kid. Amethyst frowned, thinking quietly of his blood relations with the angel. It was so interesting... and so very ironic that he would have to fall for the one thing he had grown up hating. Simply ironic.
~*~
For a while most of his time was spent humming about, checking on preparations and making sure everything was perfect.Alluvial checked on his appearance also once more before he decided to go find his dancing partner, smiling brightly as he walked brisquely to the other's room. He knocked and waited for a second, wondering if the other was going to come to the door. "Amethyst! It's getting that time!" He called out cheerily.
~*~
The sound of the others call brought Amethyst out of his musings and to his surprise, a grin to his face. Blinking in surprise the tall man made his way to the door, took a deep breath and then flung it opened, beaming. "Why hello there..." His voice trailed off, both eyebrows raising as he slowly took in the others rather... for lack of any real justifiable words, adorable attire. Amethyst made a little noise until allowing a full grin to take over his lips. "My, my... Don't you just look... delicious?" The man bowed deeply, though did not take his eyes off the other. Amethyst began to realize he was going to have a very hard time keeping his hands off the other and maintaining the 'acquaintance' appearance. Amethyst briefly wondered if he had pockets of his own to occupy his hands with, and upon realizing he didn't, began to chuckle quietly, almost evilly.
~*~

"You look quite handsome yourself." Alluvial replied breahtlessly. He loved very much the way the other was dressed, finding the attire suited his partner's personality completely. Dark, but alluring, as well as entrancing. He wanted to reach out and play with one of the amythest buttons attached to the other's attire. He returned the bow he was given, blushing quite the bit while the other eyed him like a bit of a snack or something close to the said thing. "Are you ready then?" He asked when rising from his bow, offering his hand for the other to take. "It will be dark in there, we should try to keep together as much as possible. I know how you are when it comes to being lost." He said, looking dreamily into the other's eyes.
~*~
Amethyst chuckled quietly as he straightened, placing one hand against his chest, while blinking up a face of hurt mockingly, his tone matching, "Whatever do you mean, Alluvial? Are you saying that my sense of direction is inadequate?" He sighed dramatically, before sweeping forward, past Alluvial's offered hand and pressed his body right up against the others, pulling him into a tight hug. "Yet... since you offered me your... guidance, I simply can't refuse, now can I?" he purred, "So you will take very, very good care of me, won't you?"
~*~
Alluvial blushed and returns the embrace he was pulled into. "I will. Very good care of you." He said, finding that he was very much enjoying this hug of sorts. "Your dictation was lovely." He added, frowning as his inner robes were begining to need to be pulled down. He tugged himself out of the other's grasp a moment and adjusted himself, smiling. "There, that's a little better, but come on now." He said, grabbing the other's hand and leading him to the ballroom.
~*~
Amethyst grinned broadly, allowing the smaller man to lead him away, but Amethyst, of course, still walked diligently and gracefully to not seem that lost. He realized it was becoming a well known-fact that his sense of direction was pretty skewed. What could he say? He always felt like his senses were being pulled into two directions, and he had an inkling feeling it had something to do with his mixed blood. Maybe all half-breeds were this directionally inept? Amethyst began to chuckle quietly at this thought. Speaking of half-breeds... Amethyst's eyes wandered up and down Alluvial's appeasing frame... They shared the same blood, and Amethyst began to wonder if he actually cared? He vaguely wondered if he was now so interested in the little Alluvial simply so he could get some revenge on the woman that had abandoned him. The thought was somewhat disturbing and he frowned. Was this really an act of sabotage? Or something else...?
~*~

Allvual smiled happily as he drug the other into the ballroom. "I say, I haven't seen Ginji this night." He said, wondering curiously where the said other was. "Oh well." He added, not really caring much at all. He smiled up at his escort. "So, the music is playing, the room is dark, shall we dance? Or would you like to nibble on some snacks and refreshments first?" He asked, still holding the others hand.
~*~
At the mention of his assistant, Amethyst frowned deeply, imaging poor Ginji sitting alone in some dark room brooding over the fact that he had two left feet and therefore couldn't for some reason or another come to the ball. Amethyst shrugged off this mental image; it was Alluvial's night. Ginji was a big boy and could take care of himself. Amethyst decided to let the others comment about his assistant slip by and instead nuzzled up close the Alluvial, grinning down at him through the dimly lit room, "I would love to dance with you, my little angel. If you so desire..." He let one hand slip to the others waist and took the mans other hand, raising his eyebrows up at him. "Well?"
~*~
Alluvial tried to not blush but couldn't help it while he was held close against the other. He placed the hand that wasn't occupied on his partner's chest, enjoying how strong it felt to him. He waited for the other to lead him. "You're supposed to be leading me.." He said, blinking several times, The other's beauty was terribly obvious to him at the moment and he didn't mind if they even just stood there embraced like they were.
~*~
"But of course, my darling little Alluvial." Amethyst smiled down at the other, and began to lead the other slowly, keeping their bodies a close as possible and still being able to function as a dancing couple. "So tell me, Alluvial... Do you approve of my rulership?" He began to laugh, "I mean, this ball is quite amazing, don't you think?"
~*~
Alluvial snorted. "Why thank you, sir I certainly had fun organizing it. And yes, I think you're doing well so far. Well aside your initial invasion. I am begining to grow very warm to the idea that you are the one ruling. After all, I was offering you the job as it was." He said, lost as the other lead him in their dance.
~*~
Amethyst laughed cheerily at this, "Well, I'm so glad that everything worked out for you, little Alluvial. I couldn't bare the thought of you not approving." It was difficult to tell if the white-haired man was joking or not with the last comment, but as always the King of Heaven and Hell seemed continue to laugh quietly at some inside joke.
~*~
Alluvial huffed as he looked up at the other. "Has anyone told you that your tone can be hard to read?" He asked, smiling softly. "Yes I believe things have worked out, for now...Please though, don't destroy my home." He said, frowning suddenly while he was lead about in their dance.
~*~
Amethyst shrugged, "Why would I want to destroy something that's now mine?" he questioned, deciding to be a little fancy he twirled the other about before pulling him close again. "I'm a little saddened you'd even suggest I may do such a thing. Ah, such a pity." He sighed dramatically, looking away. "And I thought you had come to trust me."
~*~
Alluvial blushed and wrapped his arms about his partner's neck. "I do trust you." He said, smiling. "I was just needing to be reassured though is all." He said, looking up at the other before laying his head on his chest. "This seems like a dream."
~*~
Amethyst shifted his arms around the other so he could hold him close and rested his chin on top of Alluvial's head. "A dream you say?" Grinning slyly, and knowing the other couldn't see his face, he laden suggestiveness with his tone, "Is this dream anything like the ones you experience at night?"
~*~
Alluvial felt heat rise to his face. "Well, not by far. The dreams I have are much more...passionate. But it's getting close." He said, pressing a what he hoped was unfelt kiss to the other's chest, his eyes closed as he recounted his dreams.
~*~
Amethyst, however, did feel it the others discreet kiss and he pursed his lips thoughtfully in response. "More... passionate you say?" He suddenly placed his hand tightly to the small of the other mans back and spun him about and into a low dip, leaving their faces only inches apart, "I can be romantic too, you know. But I think I recall you saying something about being acquaintances only?" He allowed the warmth of his breath to reach Alluvial's ear and hoped the act alone would... persuade the other to take back such a silly declaration. "Does that statement still hold, my Alluvial?"
~*~
Alluvial practically moaned when the other's breath caressed his ear. "Certainly not." He said, his breath quickened while his heart beat faster. He had been caught off guard by the other's quick spin and dip and clutched tightly to his chest, his eyes half lidded while he tried to make eye contact that he desperately needed with the other. He let a hand slide into the other's hair, entranced by the wilky strands, entranced as a stray bit of light caught and made the other's eyes light up brightly in a purple haze of a color. He blushed and found himself closing his eyes and leaning upward to him.
~*~
Amethyst studied the Alluvials' lips as best he could in the dark, trying to judge if the other was being absolutely serious or just teasing him. Amethyst found himself far too indulged with the thought of kissing the other, that he was willing to take a slap to the face if he could get even a little taste. A little eagerly Amethyst pulled the other closer and placed a gentle, but demanding kiss upon the others lips.
~*~
Even as Alluvial had wanted the kiss subconsciously he still gasped when the other's lips were on his. He had felt his eyes open on for a second before he closed them again and gave into the kiss, deciding to go for something he wanted for once. And he wanted this. He wanted this delicious feeling of the other kissing him. This sometimes insane, dangerous ruler that ruled not only heaven and hell but now Alluial himself. He clutched his hands just a little tighter in the other's hair, making just the slightest movement to deepen the kiss, not caring an ounce who saw him.
~*~
Amethyst took the subtle gesture with increasingly good spirits and allowed himself to divulge himself with tasting the other in what he hoped was a passionate (and possibly) tongue tied kiss. Realizing he was suppose to breathe, Amethyst pulled away, licking his lips and smiling, "I hope that wasn't too... forward, little one."
~*~
Alluvial was breathing quite a bit faster while he looked at the other. "No it was fine." He said, his cheeks flushed as seemed to be a commong thing with him when around the other. But after such a blissful kiss there was a sort of awkward space. What did they do now? Resume dancing? Or sit together? Talk together? Walk together? Do.. other things? "I.. I liked kissing you." Alluvial confessed. They could always just kiss again.
~*~
A flicker of the knowledge that Alluvial was his half-brother caused Amethyst to hesitate momentarily, but he soon smiled, straightening the two of them. "I must say that I enjoyed it as well..." His eyes lingered on the other for a moment, until he looked about--noticing a few prolonged stares from around. Amethyst cleared his throat before reaching up to lift Alluvial's chin gently, "What would my darling Alluvial wish for now? I did promise that I would be yours for the night."
~*~
Alluvial looked up at the other in some wonder. "I don't know. Truly. We could do a number of things. Walk about the garden perhaps..or we could just find a place here to sit and talk about one another, what our lives were like.. or we could even kiss again.. or do them all, what do you think?" He asked the other's opinion curiously.
~*~
"Hm..." Amethyst tilted his head one way and then the other, studying the little angel. "I doubt you would be at all pleased to hear of my life... though yours I am quite curious of..." He trailed off before shrugging and stepping around and then behind Alluvial, hugging him. "Now come on, my little indecisive one. You can find something you would enjoy doing... Anything at all?" To remind Alluvial that Amethyst was part demon, the mysterious man decided to give the other a rather teasing nip to the neck before nuzzling against the bare skin. "Well?"
~*~
"I know what you're making me want to do... not that I have ever done that before." Alluvial said, shivering while the other's nip on his skin made him shiver. "I think you should decide." He said, not wanting the attention to be all on him, but he did lead the other out of the ballroom and out into the garden, the moon shone brightly upon them, making Alluvial better to see his beloved.
~*~
Amethyst allowed the other to lead him away without much fuss but when they finally stopped at the garden he tilted his head and said softly, "You worked so hard on the ball... Are you sure you want to leave it so soon?"
~*~
Alluvial smiled. "Yeah I worked hard, but I was tired of everything staring at us." He said, laying his head on the other's shoulder as they slowed their walk. /"Besides, I can see you better out here." He said, smling brightly, wondering how the other would take his comment.
~*~
The King returned the smile, "You were jealous? My, my... I didn't know that angels could feel such emotions." He slipped his arm around the others waist and leaned in close to him, studying the other in the moonlight. "...You look very appropriate here. So very innocent... so very beautiful."
~*~

Alluvial smiled at the ruler. "If you say so. And who said anything about being jealous? Being stared at just makes me uncomfortable." He said, smiling brightly. "And you look quite apropriate yourself in this garden." He said, shyly pressing a small kiss to the other's lips.
~*~
Amethyst enjoyed the others kiss before breaking it with a conspiring grin, "You don't enjoy people looking at you?" He reached out to grab the ends of Alluvial's rather short robes and tugged on them, smirking, "I would have never guessed... I mean..." He let his eyes wander downward, "It seemed you were just begging to be noticed."
~*~
Alluvial looked at it and huffed. "It's the style, it's not that revealing if im not showing everything off..." He said, nervous with the other's hand in that general area. "Angels aren't entirely coservative.." He tried to straighten and tug his robes at a presentable length, finding the task difficult while sitting.

The violet-eyed man chuckled quietly, "Well... I can't say I'm complaining about your choice of clothing." He tilted his head at the other smiling, before reaching up into his own hair and pulling it free of the restricting hair-ties. The white hair became a mess around his body but after he ran his fingers through it, the locks somehow managed to straighten into their normal seemingly flawless flow. "So... Did you enjoy yourself, Alluvial? I know the night is still young and there can be much left to do..."
~*~
Alluvial smiled and was actually getting used to the other hitting on him. "I'm not sure what I want to do. You say there is much, yet you don't say what that is." He said, laying his head on the other's shoulder."Perhaps we should go back in? lay together under the stars?"
~*~
Amethyst pursed his lips in response, eyeing the other--he couldn't quite decide if he wanted to pounce on the angel right then and there, or simply play with him a little longer. There was also the reoccurring thought that Alluvial was his direct relative... Amethyst shifted his violet gaze to the starry sky letting out a soft noise, "Oh, whatever am I to do with you Alluvial? Such tormenting feelings you cause me." He ran his tongue across his teeth. "I can't decide whether to make you mine, or treat you to ice cream; you know?" He began to laugh at the obvious polar opposites, but then his mind began to wander with the thought of this potential ice cream treat... many things could be implied there. Amethyst blushed furiously, surprised at himself before coughing into his hand and looking away.
~*~
Alluvial actually giggled slightly at that. "Oh my.. ice cream hmn? I am guessing that you mean to suggest I am creamy and delightful to the taste." He said, blushing a bit himself. "What sort of things am I tormenting you about? You wish to pounce on me? I can't say that I would mind so much.." He replied, now it was his turn to blush and he did so with an amazing brightness.
~*~
"Don't tempt me, little Alluvial... I am part demon and wouldn't at all mind taking you right now here in this garden... which would be so very appropriate, don't you think?" Amethyst chuckled quietly, perhaps a little darkly. "Which I think would be quite beautiful... but..." He reached out to take Alluvial's chin gently and leaned in closely, "I wouldn't want anyone to lay eyes on you... for I am so, so very jealous of the thought of anyone but me having their way with you."
~*~
Alluvial practically swooned under the other's touch. "Who would see us?" He asked, blushing in his attempt to admit his attraction to the subject. It wasn't appalling at all to suddenly think of the other taking him, in fact, he willed it greatly. "You don't want to make my dreams come true?" He quested further, looking heatedly up into the other's eyes.
~*~
Amethyst grinned, "Oh, so they were those kinds of dreams, were they? How... adorable." He began to laugh, dropping his face into one hand, trying to stifle the sudden uncontrollable laughter.
~*~
Alluvial felt kind of foolish while he heard the other's laughter. "Why is that funny?" He asked, his blush instead of being from attraction was out of anger. "I didn't say anything for you to laugh at me..." He huffed at the other.
~*~
Amethyst took a moment to collect himself before turning his smirking face back to Alluvial. "It's funny... because I've had such dreams about you, and I had the sudden thought that maybe they weren't dreams all along..." He began to laugh again and turned away, trying to hide them to keep Alluvial from getting any more angry. "I'm sorry, this is just far too amusing a thought for me... Sexsomina."Amethyst cleared his throat, staring up at the stars trying to collect himself. "Please don't be mad, Alluvial. You should know by now I have such a perverted sense of humor."
~*~
Now as the other explained himself, Alluvial himself began to laugh, the musical sound flittering about. "Oh! How horrid. Yes perhaps they weren't dreams. Did you have one where you took me over the balcony? That's the one I remembered most, you'd had the bright idea to tie me to the balcony with the curtains while you took me from behind.. well obviously I don't know how else you would take me, unless I was facing you, but that's beside the point." After he finished telling he laughed a little more, finding this to be slightly enjoyable to talk about.
~*~
Amethyst laughed heartily again, "I assure you if I had such a dream I would have remembered it... Though I wouldn't at all mind reenacting it." He grinned at the other, raising both eyebrows. "Though I would have never thought you were that sort of man. Very very intriguing, I must say."
~*~
Alluvial felt himself shiver at the tone of the other's voice at describing how intrigued he was. "Well.. I mean, even angels have.. desires. It's one thing I think the original 'God' had an issue with, he was too in love with his own angels. He probably made my kind out of what he desired." He said with a smile. "Oh come though, what were your dreams about?"
~*~
Amethyst chuckled quietly, "My dreams? Well.. my dreams always seemed to lead me back here, to this garden... somehow, with you." He raised his eyebrows at the other, "I wonder if you're as noisy in the real world as in dream land..." Amethyst pondered out-loud, smiling coyly.
~*~
Alluvial blushed and shook his head. "Oh my." He said, shrugging. "I may be.. I wouldn't entirely know. Us angels for the majority are virgins." He said, smiling a little bit up at the other. "I mean, we could test it to see..."
~*~
Smirked knowingly, leaning back and staring up at the star-strewn sky, "I would rather enjoy that," he admitted quietly.
~*~
When the words reached Alluvial's ears he made a rather unlike him bold move and practically jumped on the other, kissing him fiercely. "Such things you say!" He said with a blush, as though he hadn't always wanted to randomly jump the other. He didn't know what the other would say to him and his sudden showing of affection, but if he became too suspicious he could always roll off of him and say he was just teasing.
~*~
Amethyst made a little noise of surprise, violet eyes wide as he stared at the other. He took a moment to recover before he lifted his hands up into the others hair and began to thread the soft silver-gold locks between his fingers. "Hmm..." He tilted his head one way and then the other, "That was mighty audacious, O Pure One," he said teasing. His hands lowered to the sides of the other's face before pulling him closer, "I shall reward you for your efforts, yes?" And then promptly he placed a demanding kiss upon the others lips.
~*~
Alluvial couldn't help but return the kiss, a small moan just edging past his lips while he reciprocated. He slid his hands up into the other's hair which seemed to be his now favorite place to put them. He shivered while sitting in the other's lap brought back flashes of other dreams, working like an aphrodisiac to him, stimulating the hardness that began to grow from just the simplest touch or remark from the other. He began to make the kiss even more demanding than what the other had started, giving himself away to his smallish moans that were so muffled by the other's lips.
~*~
This was not good. Ginji knocked on the door more loudly this time, awaiting his Lord's response. He knew that His Majesty had most likely escaped with that little brat angel, but Ginji had expected them to return to Amethyst's room. Ginji flushed slightly at that thought before turning away from the door. Where else would they go?

His steps faltered as he caught a glimpse of two entwined figures in the moonlight down below. The demon's crimson eyes narrowed dangerously. /Ah, so that's where they are./ Strengthening his resolve Ginji allowed his wings to part from his back in a ruffle of black feathers. He allowed them to stretch momentarily before stepping onto the railing and leaping off. The wings outstretched to maintain his speed and with a few quick beats he lowered himself to ground-level and strode towards the angel and demon.

Ginji approached, clearing his throat loudly. "Your Highness, I'd hate to interrupt, but we have a crises among us." His eyes lingered for a moment on Alluvial before he turned his face away, closing his eyes. "Please make yourself decent so I may brief you on the situation."

Amethyst, meanwhile, tried to ignore Ginji but couldn't help but wonder about this 'crises'. With a slight sigh against Alluvial's lips he pulled away, cuddling his face into the crook of the angel's neck, wrapping his arms loosely around the others waist. "What is it, Ginji? Need someone to dance with you at the ball?"

Ginji flushed, embarrassed. "Of course not, Lord Amethyst." He struggled for a moment, as if trying to get use to the pose Alluvial and Amethyst now held. "...My Lord, you have been challenged in Heaven."

Amethyst's lips pursed together and his eyebrows rose. "Come again?" he questioned, slightly startled.
~*~
Alluvial's eyebrows knitted together. "What!? Who would dare?" He sighed and rose from the other, straightenin himself and looking Ginji curiously. "Who? Did they give a name? What did they look like? What are they?" He asked suddenly. He knew that Amythest was the ruler, but he knew heaven more. If the gates allowed the challenger through then obviously the other was well enough for the job. There may even be a war yet again in Heaven for this damned seat.

"If Heaven let them through then they are worthy of the seat, you may have to fight, my love." He said, frowning and taking the other's hand into his. "Always some kind of trouble in even the best of places." He said with a sigh.
~*~
Ginji frowned worriedly. He already spoken to the challenger, inside but he hadn't asked for a name. The counselor had simply been too damned worried about silly little Amethyst being caught off guard and killed before he even knew what had happened. "I apologize, Your Majesty, but I was not given a name. I was told that you are to be challenged very soon... It was by an angel; that much is all I can offer. I apologize."

Amethyst sniffed quietly, running his thumb over Alluvial's hand that held his. Amethyst wasn't unfit to fight, but he definitely wasn't prepared. He had spent the last several hundred years charming others into doing the fighting for him... He was rather rusty, to say the least. The white-haired man stood up, staring blankly at some focal point far away. He reached up to gently rest his free hand on Alluvial's head. "Hmm... well, this is unexpected." He stated plainly. "And I thought I was so damn charismatic too!" He stomped his feet in a comical child-like tirade before letting out a troubled groan.
~*~
Alluvial was worried for his beloved and he whimpered just a little. "Do you wear armor? I think I have some that would be brilliant for you." He said, frowning. "I mean, I just.. please don't get hurt." He said, hugging the other tight. "Now that I have you if I lost you I would fall to earth to be a mere mortal." He said, looking up into the other's eyes pleadingly.
~*~
"Armor? Not really, no. Nothing practical anyways." He turned away from Alluvial and wandered a ways away, cupping his chin with one hand and resting his other hand under his elbow. Did he even remember any incantations? Amethyst began to wonder if the other was physically strong, or just simply magic bound like himself. His violet eyes raised to narrow on the star-strewn sky. What would happened if he died? Amethyst made a face. He would not die, damn it. He had worked so hard becoming the King of Heaven and Hell. No force could take this from him.
~*~
The challenging angel appeared as a massive and powerful being. He was obviously very prone to fighting, his form muscled in his angelic robes. His black eyes glittered in the light of the stars and moon and his whitened hair hung about him while some of it was pulled back loosely. "I called you to a summons, and you didn't come? A true ruler meets those who challenge him." He said with a thick voice, one that spoke of light and power. "I call to you once more, Heaven ruler, will you fight or no? If not, you automatically forfeit and I become ruler." He said, his black painted fingernails carding through his long hair, securing it all back in the tie he had placed it in.

Alluvial felt immense strength from this new one. "Surely you could both settle this another way outside of fighting? Is there no where else you could rule?" He asked the new comer.

Apollyon chuckled. "Other place? Pehraps, but this is the one I want. Surely you're not daring to oppose me, small one?" He quested, a light smirk slipping across his lips.

Alluvial frowned and shook his head. "I am not the one you need fight." He sighed, looking to Amythest worriedly. "What will you do, love?"
~*~
Amethyst cleared his throat, looking to Appollyon. His violet eyes searched the other for a moment, as if calculating his chances. Quietly, Amethyst noted he probably had little chance. His eye twitched slightly at the thought. "Of course I will accept your challenge, Lord Appollyon." His voice was low and icy--a tone that he rarely used. "On what grounds is this challenge?"
~*~
Apollyon looked around. "Why, these grounds of course. Nothing is unfair, this is a battle after all, to the death. Why, I think you're not going to pose much a threat though." He said, chuckling. "But yes, do what you can to ready yourself. Anything goes."He said, taking a calm seat on the stump of a tree. "I think it's agreeable."

Alluvial was terribly afraid, he layhis head on his lover's shoulder. "Are you sure you don't want that armor?" He asked, clenching his jaw while he whispered. "He's strong, love."
~*~
Amethyst raised his hand to stroke Alluvial's hair quietly. "I hardly think the armor will make a difference." he said quietly, stung by his own words. He had already given up, hadn't he? Amethyst almost laughed out loud at this. Him, Amethyst? Give up? HA! The white haired man took hold of the amethyst buttons holding his robes together and undid them, slipping the robes off. Under he wore only a pair of white baggy pants. Amethyst handed Alluvial his dress robes, "Sorry about having your ball ruined, but Daddy has to take care of a pest problem."

"My, Lord--wait." Ginji called, "Wouldn't you like some preparations first? I can hardly believe you can fight seriously in just that."

Amethyst snorted with laughter, "I am the King of Heaven and Hell, Ginji. I am God. How could I possibly lose?"

"...My Lord..." Ginji replied, exasperated. "You can't be serious."

"I'm not a serious person, you should know this, Ginji." Amethyst replied, stepping away from Alluvial. His violet eyed never left his challenger. "You must feel such angst with the thought of fighting in darkness. I will give you the option of rescheduling our proceedings if you so wish, to better advantage yourself." The King's rested his fists on his hips, raising his perfectly sculpted eyebrows. "Hm?"
~*~
Apollyon chuckled. "I can see just fine." He said, removing as well his robes down to his own pants which were the opposite in color, matching his eyes. "You're very foolish to not prepare better. Now, if there are no further problems, may we begin?" He asked, a small dagger in hand. He tossed one to his opponent. "You can have the stronger one." He said, smirking.

Alluvial whimpered, standing near Ginji after planting a nervous and worried kiss on Amethyst's lips. He felt tears come to his eyes. "He wont make it, will he?" He asked the other, fear evident.
~*~
Ginji looked wordlessly at the other, looking lost and rather frightened himself before returning his horrified gaze back to his Master.

Amethyst, meanwhile, deflected the dagger away. "You believe that strength is through a weapon? What a silly notion. I don't rely on such material things." He pressed his hands together, his chin dropping slightly, his violet eyes focused intently on the other. "Whenever you're ready."
~*~

Apollyon shrugged and threw his dagger to the ground as well. He didn't bother wasting time to reply to the other, instead he just made a quick dash at him, dropping low to make a low kick to his legs, wondering if he would be able to execute the move.
~*~
Annoyed, Amethyst kicked off the ground in the same motion his wings sprout from his back, stretching wide to carry him several feet in the air. He propelled himself backwards, landing several yards away and lifted his hands together, lowering his head as if in prayer. In a low, steady voice he quickly began a chant, "O flames of hell, cremate mine enemies in a cage of fire!" His eyes lifted, as did his palms; facing outwards towards Appollyon, "Infernal Prison!" A crimson glyph began to form around the ground Appollyon was standing a the temperature began to rise exponentially, ready to burst anything in the vicinity to ashes. Amethyst could only pray (to himself?) that the spell would gather strength in time to do damage.
~*~
A rather loud chuckle came from Apollyon. "Mnnn that is a nice warm breeze." He said, closing his eyes. "Turn these flames to ice." He commanded from some being or another in his litte use of magic. The flame turned to ice and completely shattered, falling to the ground. "No weapons, and yet you use magic? Pathetic." He said, forming a cloud of dense ice around the other,, willing it enclose his wrists and ankles.

Alluvial watch in horror. "No.." He whispered, knowing his lover was in trouble. "Please.. no.."
~*~
Amethyst gnashed his teeth, feeling the weight pulling his body down. No matter. The demon dropped to his knees, his head bowed as well, chanting quietly under his breath. In a brilliant flash of white lightening snapped throughout the air, several bolts raining down on his very own body which did well to crack the ice encasing his limbs. The King of Hell and Heaven stood, the ice crumbling away. "I rely on no one but myself." The violet-eyed man replied quietly, not really caring if the other could hear him or not. Appollyon was a worthy opponent--probably diverse in skills both physical and magical. He was probably more fit to rule Heaven than Amethyst, but the current King refused to accept this. He would die before he willing gave up Heaven... and he couldn't bare to lose in front o Alluvial.
~*~
Apollyon chuckled. "So it would seem." He said, sending a whirl of wind to knock the other over and then adding a dash of water which he sent with electricity so that when the other was soaked he would be electricuted until he was dry. He knew itwould be difficult to fight with electricity coursing through him at ever second. He gave a chuckle at this, waiting to see what the other's next move was going to be.
~*~
Amethyst grunted, stepping backwards and lifting his arms up in a cross to try and shield his face as best he could. When the jolt of lightening coursed through his body he let a moan of pain, feeling his knees weakening. He felt suddenly very dizzy, but he shook his head forcefully to clear his thoughts. What was he doing again? Oh, right. Fighting. Amethyst felt his body going numb, but he dared not think too hard on it. Weakness was not a luxury on the battlefield. The demon straightened as best he could, interlacing his fingers. He knew he had to let off a powerful spell--at least hit the other once. He had to do at least that. Wound the other before he died. "I who stand in the full light of the Heavens, command thee, to open the gates of hell, come forth divine lightening!" It was his most powerful attack--if this missed he knew he had no chance.

Nearly the entire battlefield began to glow a brilliant white and a beam of light fell from the night sky above. The air suddenly became very thin and cold when suddenly a shower of white erupted. There was no possible way to avoid the attack--but guarding against it was matter entirely different. Amethyst had never seen anyone avoid it, but he had certainly seen some survive it. Amethyst had very little hope that this powerful spell would destroy Appollyon.
~*~

The spell did inflict damage upon Apollyon, but not enough to be substantial. He hissed in pain, clutching just a moment at his body before he gathered his witts to throw the spell off and send it flying back towards the other, growling in fury as he did so which seemed to only increase the spells power while it shot back to the other.

Alluvial gasped. "NO!no no no no no!" He shouted, tears welling up in his eyes. This couldn't be the end, eveyr move, every spell thrown was another gasp for him, wondering and wondering what was going to happen and what was going to be.
~*~
Amethyst blinked in surprise--deflecting his very own spell back at him? How fitting. The violet eyed man did his best to throw up a shield of magic, but when the powerful white magic propelled against him it shattered the hasty shield and he was flung back, landing painfully on his back. He felt his wings tearing and numbly he willed them away. They disappeared in a cloud of feathers and the King laid silently, staring up at the sky, feeling his heart pounding painfully in his chest. Hm. This wasn't exactly how he had planned, but, hell what do you do? Amethyst grunted painfully as he sat up, running his hand across his face. His hand pulled away, covered in blood. Amethyst frowned.

/Well... This is what you get for not keeping up with your training./ he thought miserably. His eyes drifted to Alluvial and he felt a pang of guilt. Poor thing... after wooing him over he was going to end up dying on him, wasn't he? Amethyst chuckled quietly, struggling to his feet. His legs refused to hold him and he collapsed back onto his knees, his hair falling, wet with blood, around his battered shoulders and face.

"This...is...embarassing." Amethyst admitted, unable to raise his head to look his opponent in the eyes. His body was already frail, and Amethyst had to admit--he was rather surprised he had survived this long. He made an effort to speak but something was choking him, so he couldn't. He coughed painfully and a splatter of blood now covered the grass. The violet eyed man shook his head lamely.

He had time for only one more spell before his body expired. Ah--wait. Amethyst raised his voice as best he could, "Ginji, be a dear and take good care of my Alluvial, will you?"

"..." Ginji stared silently, his crimson eyes searching the other. He wanted nothing more than to go to his masters rescue, but even he knew the laws of the Gods. He had no right to intervene. "As you wish, my dear friend, Amethyst," he replied quietly.

/Now that that's taken care of.../ Amethyst pushed himself up into a kneeling position, placing his palms together delicately. "Suffer..." He whispered quietly, the rest of the spell he could only mouth for his voice left him. The ground began to shake like an earthquake and a black mass began to expand around his enemy--probably a futile effort, but at least a fancy one.
~*~
Apollyon did shiver in pain but eventually the pain wore off. Had the other been up to strength the spell would have been much stronger against him, but he simply shrugged the pain off. "Pitiful." He said, crossing his arms while standing.

Alluvial ran to his fallen lover, tears streaming down his face. "Love. You can't leave me.." He said, whimpering while he cried harder. He touched the blood on the other's face and began to cry even harder, resting his head on his chest. "No, you can't go." He begged, clutching tight to his chest, his body shakng with sobs.

Apollyon knelt down between the fallen and his beloved. He stroked the boy's hair. "If he's dead, I'll let you join him." He whispered, a dagger concealed in his hands.
~*~
"...Don't you..." Amethyst snarled, his bloodied hand reaching out to weakly grasp Appollyon's wrist. "Dare... you bastard." His eyes began to become unfocused and he fought away the sudden very warm and pleasant feeling that suddenly made his eyes very heavy. "...God would not... hurt an innocent." Amethyst strength left him and he collapsed against Alluvial. He struggled to breath, barely even able to keep his eyes opened, "Alluvial... I'm very sorry..." He tried to move his arms to at least hug the other, but even that minute movement he couldn't manage. He could feel his lifeblood leaving him, soaking the other.
~*~
Apollyon shook his head. "God would never let an innocent suffer without his love." He waited Alluvial's response.

Alluvial clung tighter still to the other, kissing his lips and then trying to breath life into him. "Don't leave me. Please, you can't die. Just stay alive, stay alive, I will heal you and then we can be perfect again."

Apollyon moved closer to Alluvial, the dagger posed to strike. "Let him go. You would only cause him pain if you leave him here, beside, wouldn't you rather join him? Where there is no pain?" He whispered waiting for Amethyst's last breath, as soon as he drew said breath he would take the other's life as well.
~*~
Amethyst wished he had the breath to curse Apollyon, but he didn't. He could feel Alluvial's lips against his, but all he could taste was the coppery warmth that was his very own blood. It was infuriating. The last thing he wanted to taste wasn't his own blood, but the lips of Alluvial. What a shame... a pity. Amethyt's eyes dulled at the thought, his chest shuddered with his final breath and finally giving in to death his body stilled. The King of Heaven and Hell was no more.
~*~
Alluvial heard the final breath cease and he wanted to scream. He turnedinto Apollyon's grasp and took the dagger that he knew was concealed. "Send me with him." He said softly, his tears stinging as they fell.

Apollyon nodded, leaning forward a moment to press a kiss to the lips of the fallen angel, givng him his blessing. He then took Alluvial into his grip and pulled him into a an tight embrace, slipping the dagger into his chest while he did so, feeling slightly bad while he heard the angel gasp and whimper in pain. He felt the warm blood of him drip down and trickle along his hand and as the boy shuddered and drew his last breath he lay him beside his fallen lover and pressed a kiss to his lips as well. "I give you my blessing. Both of you." He withdrew the dagger and stood, wiping it on his robes. "Well, I have only to take the seat." He said, turning to Ginji. "Give them a proper burial." He said before stalking off to sit upon his seat and then yet again the power of heaven shifted.
~*~
Ginji stood numbly, watching the new King of Heaven waltz away. For the first time in his life, Ginji felt tears in his eyes and for the life of him, he didn't know how to describe them. Ginji wordlessly watched the other go. He would be damned if he were to be the servant of the man who had killed his Master. However--Ginji would give the two a properly burial as instructed. The demon let out a low, pained sigh before shakily making his way to his Master's side. He knelt beside him, brushing away the bloodied locks from his face before looking to Alluvial. Ginji couldn't help but notice how beautiful the two looked lying side by side in the moonlight. He laughed quietly, shaking his head.

They were simply made for each other.
~*~
It was as though he was in a dream. Alluvial looked around in his dream only to see a long line of peopler, and one was in the opposite face, instructing. He saw his loved one ahead of him. But he couldn't seem to step out of his place or touch or talk to him. "Amethyst!" He shouted, but no voice came out. He vaguely heard the voice. "You are to be humbled as a mortal on Earth, your flaws need in be corrected, upon completeion of the task when you die a mortal you will return to .." The rest of the words were cut off because Alluvial simply didn't pay attention. He was next in line after his lover, whom he saw fall but to where he couldn't be sure. The Person spoke to him too. "You as well will be humbled, your judgement is what needs to be fixed, you will also learn to guide others, and be a sounding force. You are sentenced to Earth to also correct your mistakes...blessing be with you." And before he knew it, he was falling too.
~*~
Amethyst sighed, pushing up his glasses with one finger. It wasn't that he didn't like tutoring, it just felt like he was tutoring far too many people. His Professor's seemed to enjoy his intellect and how he strove to learn more--but sometimes Amethyst felt like the Professors just pawned off those they didn't feel like teaching onto him. It was rather annoying, but hell, as long as he got his good marks.

He was dressed in dark purple robes that made a sharp and low v-cut in the front where he had deliberately left the white undershirt unbuttoned to show of at least some of his physic. He may be a nerdy, passionate irrefutable know-it-all, but he at least was a good looking one. That he made sure others knew about. The young man pushed opened the door to one of the empty rooms before reaching into his pocket with a sigh, reading the paper. Yes. It was the right room. The man tossed himself into one of the chairs and kicked his feet up onto the desk, crossing his hands behind his head, tangling in the white locks with the movement. He didn't particularly mind the kid being late, but still. Manners were manners.
~*~
Alluvial rushed to the room he was supposed to be in, tripping over himself several times. As a 'freshmen' in the intimidating structure he hadn't entirely found out what every wing was. He ended up with yet another tripping session and stumbled through the classroom door, dropping his books and his papers, sighing at the large mess. He blushed in embarrassment before he looked up at the other.

A creas formed in his eyebrows as he looked at the other. He was strangely familiar, he felt like he'd seen him somewhere and could just barely grasp where. "Have we met before?" He asked, biting his lower lip cutely in thought. "Ah! Forgive me! I apologize for being late. I was runing behind, I had an letter to deliver to the beginners classes." He handed his paper to the other and tried to not pay attention to the part of the other he could see, mainly the strong chest area. He huffed and sat down aside him, setting his book on his lap. "I'm Alluvial, what's your name?"
~*~
Amethyst's annoyed thoughts ceased upon seeing the other and he felt like someone had sucked the air right out of him, and he really wasn't sure why. Amethyst blinked widely at the other, absently taking the paper. "Uh..." The violet-eyed man was rendered speechless, something that rarely happened to this outspoken, flashy third-year. "I...uh. Um. No. I don't think so. I'm Amethyst." He slid his feet off the table, shifting his robes to sit more properly. "So...uh... You're a first year?"
~*~
Alluvial nodded. "Yes, are you going to pick on me now?" He asked, a small pout showing in his eyes. He didn't want to be picked on, he'd had quite enough of that this year as it was.He smiled as the other adjusted himself, glad to not be tempted by the showing of such beautiful flesh. He blushed at his thoughts.Oh my god! Why am I thinking like this? He's probably just a bratty over confident upperclassmen anyhow..and there I go judging him without even knowing him... He hummed as his thought his thoughts before shaking his head sheepishly and looking to the other. "Anyhow, where do we begin?"
~*~
Amethyst had no idea why he felt so flustered around the younger man, but it was making him feel impatient and exposed. "Well. I don't know. What don't you understand? I really can't instruct you properly until I know what you do know and what you don't know." He rocked his chair forward, dropping his face between his upraised palms. "And seriously, if you're like every other clueless kid that Professor sends at me, I may have to kill you." He looked at the other, his face rather devoid of emotions. "I'm serious." He let an awkward silence fill the air before laughing, "No, I'm kidding. I think... I'm not sure yet... Anyways." Amethyst realized he was talking, a lot. It wasn't that he didn't usually, it was just that he mostly had intelligent things to say. For some reason Alluvial seemed to drown all his intellect with those pouting lips and those fluttering eyelashes. For some reason Amethyst felt butterflies when the other made those faces--which was stupid. They had just met. No one falls for anyone that quickly...Or do they?
~*~
Alluvial smiled, looking at the other as though he hadn't said a word. He leaned forward to look at his eyes. "Wow.. your eyes are a really pretty shade.." He said, before realizing he was kind of close and sitting down. He huffed and opened his book. "Okay, evolution, where's the proof? I mean, sure we have bones, but what I can't get is how do we know they evolved and weren't simply just different kinds? And by they I mean anything they say evolved." He stated, scooting closer to the other to show him the passge, trying to ignore his heart's slightly faster pace or the slight tremble in his fingers.
~*~
Amethyst did well to hide his own flush of embarrassment at the compliment of his eye color, but decided not to comment on it. Tutoring--that was something he could do. Let his mind focus on that, not on this pretty little first-year. Amethyst cleared his throat uncomfortably as the other slid closer, offering the book as guidance. "Well, if you're speaking of evolution in general--why not take the simple finch for example." He pushed up his glasses, his eyes set on some focal point on the ceiling, "There are several species of finch--namely 'Family Fringillidae'. They're all so closely related yet have such tiny distinct differences in their bills because of where they lived. They were forced to conform to their surroundings, their food sources and their environment in order to survive. Over hundreds of generations, thousands probably, species learn to survive by passing on survival genes. If nature makes a mistake, and the gene is more harmful than helpful then natural selection occurs and the new species will never mate... However," he looked at Alluvial, and when doing so lost his train of thought. The violet-eyed man flushed, looking away. "I...um. Damn it." With an annoyed huff he took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes fiercely with his free hand.
~*~
"Are you okay?" Alluvial asked, forgetting his confused question for a moment. "And well.. just because they adapt to their surroundings, how does that show evolution and not just simple adaption? Or are they the same thing? I mean could a fat beaked bird live where skinny beaked birds live? Would it be able to adapt? I don't quite think it would. Even if it did survive, since it didn't posess the genes.. I mean, how.. grrr it's sooo confusing." Alluvial said, nibbling the end of his penicl. "It's not fair to be so confused." He yawned and waited the other's answer to his question.
~*~
Amethyst squirmed, "I'm fine. And sure... Adaptation and Evolution are similar, but they're not the same. Evolution is when a species changes what it is and becomes another species, adaptations are usually minor changes that help the same species survive." Amethyst ran his hand several times through his hair, sighing, frustrated. "You have me confused now too." He admitted flatly. "You just made me doubt myself." He turned an annoyed scowl at the first-year. "You're going to make this a difficult relationship, aren't you?"
~*~
Alluvial smiled and gave a small giggle. "I didn't know we were in a relationship." He said, turning the page in the book. "And I didn't mean to confuse you. Do we have to study right now though? I haven't even had time to relax, could we go for drinks or something?" He asked, looking up at the other through his silver-green eyes that were sparkled by the classroom light and long practically gold and silver eyelashes. He liked the other's carefree and almost playfull nature and perhaps they could become more comfortable aroud one another at a place where one is meant to relax.
~*~
"Of course we have a relationship. I'm the... teacher, you're the student, I guess." Amethyst fixed his glasses, rocking back in the chair he was sitting in, trying very hard to ignore the luminescent glow the other seemed to be giving off. "...and sure. Drinks are fine. I'd like to gather my thoughts anyways."
~*~
Alluvial grinned. "Well come on then." He said, standing and grabbing the other's hand, pulling him along with him while he gathered his school things. "This will be fun." He added, practically running down the corridor with the other in tow.
~*~
Amethyst allowed the other to lead him down the hallway, but curiously he questioned, "Were you born in this city? I know you're a first-year and don't know much about the university... but whether you were born here is an entirely different matter... I guess what I'm getting at is; where the hell are we going?" It wasn't that Amethyst was against the younger man dragging him about by the hand (he actually rather liked that), but if Alluvial didn't know where they were going... Amethyst's certainly didn't. He may have been born here--but he could hardly get back to his own room. His sense of direction wasn't exactly... well-known.
~*~
Alluvial nodded. "Yeah I know where we're going, but no, I wasn't born here. I was born in.. I don't remember the name of the city it's too long and weird to pronounce, but I was born there." He said, humming while helooked for cars while they crossed the street. "Okay almost there, let's just walk now." He said, still holding the other's hand as though it was the most natural thing he'd ever done. He looked about and spotted the shop he was looking for. "Here we are!" He lead him furhter up ahead and into the shop, choosing a booth and sitting on one side, letting go of the other's hand as he did so. He wondered if the other would be sitting beside him or across from him.
~*~
Amethyst gave Alluvial a puzzled stare before sliding into the seat across from the other. "...Pardon me for the bluntness; but how the hell do you forget the name of the city you were born in?" The violet eyed man frowned, pushing up his glasses. "...I mean, you can't be serious... Unless you didn't grow up there, then sure... but..." He trailed off, itching the back of his head, confused. "Are you going to be this forgetful in our lessons as well?"
~*~
Alluvial blushed in embarrassment before giving the other a small pout accompanied by a small glare. "You just shush. I didn't actually forget the name, but it's too long to say. I was born on Laurieneitinais see? It's obnoxious." He said, frowning before ordering a small fizzed drink and a cup of icecream. "I grew up there for most of my life. I have been here for the last four years." He said matter of factly. "Where were you born?"
~*~
Amethyst, likewise, ordered simple coffee. It was really the only word he could think of after trying to pronounce "Laurieneitinais" in his head. "You're right... that is obnoxiously long... As for me, I think I was born right here in Arutsh, but I can't be certain. I grew up in an orphanage and no one really told me anything of how I had come to be." He shrugged slightly, raising on eyebrow. "Though I may have grown up here, I still haven't a clue where anything is. I have... a less than adequate sense of direction. So... never ask me where anything in particular is. I haven't the faintest clue." It wasn't often he admitted this to anyone, but for some reason it didn't bother him too much to reveal this. It would keep the awkwardness out of any further destination choices, that was for sure.
~*~
Alluvial smiled. "That's all right, I pretty much know my way around if we get lost anywhere." He said, practiclly squealing in delight when his icecream arrived. "Ohhh this looks good." He took a bite and moaned. "Ohhh it isssss. You should order ice cream." He said, nodding quickly, he suddenly didn't entirely care about science. He just wanted to spend tme with the other and make at least one friend.
~*~
Amethyst chuckled quietly at the other as his ice cream arrived. Upon receiving his coffee as well he simply lifted the mug slightly in the air, "No thank you. I prefer warm things." He sipped his drink quietly, setting it down and quietly admiring the way the other ate his desert. "Hm... What are you studying, anyways? I don't think you ever mentioned it."
~*~
"The opposite of science. History, art, and literature." He said, deamnding choclate syrup for his ice cream, and upon getting the said topping was delighted beoynd all knowing, making soft noises every time he took a bite. "It's soooo goooood." He said, taking a sip of his soda too. "What are you studying?"
~*~
Amethyst watched him, amazed that the little boy could consume so much sugar and not explode--though Amethyst wouldn't put it past the kid to suddenly combust into flames out of no where. The kid just seemed so damn energetic, it was rather strange. "That sounds interesting. I'm studying to be a Professor in Philosophy...thus why I take on students for tutoring. I'm not so sure why I choose to tutor in the sciences, I guess that it's one of the most highly demanded areas that need help. I just want the experience."
~*~
Alluvial nodded as he completely agreed to him. "Well, what do you say we come here for every tutoring lesson and just for random going-places? Where do you live? We should hang out." He said smiling dream-lke up at the other. "I mean, you seem to be pretty down to earth for an upper classmen. And I think you're kind....we could so be friends."
~*~
"Here?" Amethyst blinked in surprise, "Shouldn't lessons take place on campus? And... I live in university housing considering I don't have anywhere to live, even as an upperclassman. I can't afford to live on my own." Amethyst fixed his glasses, tilting his head. "You're pretty adamant about this whole friendship thing... are you lonely as hell or something?" He laughed quietly, shaking his head. "I've never seen a first-year so damn... persistent."
~*~
Alluvial tried his best to not pout. "Wel yes, but campus makes it too serious and makes me not want to learn. And sorry, I just thought we could be friends. You'd be the only friend I would have. But if you're appalled to the idea I understand." He said, a frown covering his lips while he looked back down at his ice-cream, feeling even more lonely than before.
~*~
Amethyst's eyes softened and he smiled genuinely, "I understand." He reached out, affectionately covering Alluvial's hand with his own. "I'm not in the least bit appalled. I'm more so intrigued. I would very much enjoy your friendship, little Alluvial." He tilted his head, continuing to smile at the boy and wondering how he could possibly not have any friends.
~*~
Alluvial blushed and naturally entwined his fingers with the other. "Awe, thank you." He said, accidentally dripping ice-cream onto the other's hand and thus licking it up at default. "ou taste kinda like sugar." He commented, returning to his ice-cream and continuing to hold the other's hand. "So, I don't really feel like studying.. what do you want to do?"
~*~
Amethyst gawked, wide-eyed. "Uh...I..." He blinked several times, looking from their entwined fingers to the other's eyes before looking away, flushed slightly. "I... don't know. I'm not usually very social outside of classes and usually bar myself up in my room and read. So I don't really have many places in mind."
~*~
"Oh come on! Surely you can think of something?" He asked, pouting while he looked up at the other. "Would you rather go for a walk? Or what?" He asked, finishing the last of his ice-cream, feeling like he may have been too forward." We could go play at my house and you can meet my mother?"
~*~
Amethyst opened his mouth to speak, but stopped, closing it. He stared wordlessly for a moment before smiling. "Sure. Whatever you want to do sounds great." He wondered briefly why the others mother had moved with him, but figured that the information would be shared with him if Alluvial wished it so. Amethyst didn't exactly enjoy prying into other's lives, mostly because he knew how awkward it was being put on the spot about ones past. He himself wasn't exactly proud of his, and didn't expect everyone else to be as well. The violet eyed man sat back in the booth, quietly finger the handle on his coffee mug. /I wonder what kind of person his mother is?/ He thought, pursing his lips.
~*~
Alluvial smiled brightly then and hopped out of their booth, paying for the food they had bought. "Come on then, I can't wait for you to meet her, she's really nice." He said, grabbing the other's hand and dragging him out of the shop. "it's a bit of a walk though, so it's going to be kind of fun to just walk. So tell me more about you. What do you like to do for fun?"
~*~
Amethyst allowed the other to drag him along, but hastily had to fix his glasses to keep them from slipping off his nose. "Er..." He quickly fell into step with the other, not really minding that they held hands. "I'm your average nerd. I read.. a lot. Mostly philosophical things, as well as religious. I guess.. other than that..." He shrugged slightly and with his free hand began to button the white shirt underneath his robes... the last thing he wanted to do was burst in on his new tutoring students house looking like some pimp... Amethyst figured the kids mother would probably not appreciate that. Amethyst cleared his throat, distracted by that thought and continued cheerily, "So what about you?"
~*~
Alluvial grinned. "Nothing much, well anything there is to do I try and do it.. not anything bad of course, but just things. Climb trees, go to the ocean, keep poor helpless hermit crabs captive, ummm other than that just whatever there is. Walk and stuff, go to the park, shop." He led him to the next street. "Yup! We're almost there!" He said, reaching a large winding driveway and to the back was an intimidating white gate with angels embossed into the metal.

The gate craked open and through a path of trees a woman with long almost waist length hair in match to her son's was bent over, gardening, her eyes shining in the light that beamed in under her sun hat while she heard the gate open. She set down the trowel she had used and with a charming smile approached them. "Alluvial, are you don't with your studies all ready? And who is your friend?"

Alluvial smiled. "Not yet, we decided to come here. And, this is Amethyst, my tutor." He said, realizing they were still holding hands. He released the other's hand quickly, not thinking Amythest would like to have his mom start asking a bunch of relation-related questions.

"Oh, your tutor? Well how nice of you to take time, mister Amethst, to teach my son. Why don't you two go inside, I will make you something to drink and some sandwiches. Do you like lemonade?" She had in fact caught sight of the held hands, but didn't want to comment on it directly, though she knew her son when he found someone he liked.
~*~
"It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Madame." Amethyst said, bowing flashily, but at the same time rather charmingly. "My apologizes for the unannounced arrival." He chuckled somewhat nervously, pushing up his glasses. "I really hope you don't mind the intrusion... I hoped that maybe Alluvial would be able to understand our lesson if he were in a more comfortable setting." It wasn't really a lie, but it was all he could think of to keep small-talk. Hadn't Alluvial wanted them to come here? Who knows. Amethyst was still rather thrown off by the elegant estate-like-setting.. it was rather intimidating.
~*~
The woman nodded and lead them into the house, putting the soiled apron she wore to wash. She then went to cupboards, looking for things, plates could be heard clinking together.

Alluvial smiled. "Come on." He said to Amythest, grabbing the other's hand and leading him up to his room which was quite the mess with clothing and books laying about. "Excuse the mess, I haven't cleaned in a while." He said sheepishly. It was quite the contrast to the rest of the home, large and clean, this room, though large, was seemingly filled with unkemptness. Not technically dirty, but unorganized and strewn about. He sat on his bed. "So, I hope you really do like lemonade and sanwiches, cause that's what mom is making."
~*~
"Oh... Yeah, that's fine. And don't worry about the mess." Amethyst folded his arms across his chest, looking around. "..I never would have pegged you as some rich kid." He muttered quietly, before leaning up against the wall. "Well..." He trailed off, shrugging. "Now what?"
~*~
Alluvial pouted. "I'ts not ME that's rich. It's mum. Anyways, we can study like we're supposed to, or just lay around. I don't care, mom will probably want you to stay for supper though if you want." He said, tilting his head in thought.
~*~
Amethyst shrugged slightly. "If you have the luck of being born into wealth.. well..." He trailed off, "Oh well. I guess you're right. You're not your parents..." The man pushed his glasses up. "And I really don't want to be a bother to your mother, so I should probably leave after our lesson..." Amethyst scratched the back of his head nervously. " I mean, I don't want to like... intrude."
~*~
Alluvial glanced at him with a his pout still intact. "But.. she wants people to intrude. She doesn't think I have enough friends.. which you'd be the first, but she wants me to hang around other people and you're the only person I actually know. Please intrude?' He asked, looking up at the other with large 'puppy' eyes.
~*~
Amethyst flushed at the look, "Fine, sure. If you insist, I can't really find myself refusing." He let out a strained sigh before reaching up to push up his glasses. "I don't see how you don't have any friends, little one. With a personality like that I can just see others flocking to you."
~*~
Alluvial blushed a little. "Some find me to be annoying though." He said, pouting. "Am I being annoying?" He asked, kissing the other's cheek. "I hope not. I don't want to be. Hey! Let's go sit by the pond?" He decided, acting as though he hadn't just leant over to kiss the other's cheek.
~*~
The white-haired man took a moment to recover from his initial shock of the other boldness before quickly pushing off the wall and straightening--trying to regain some of his cool composure. "Well... I don't... see you as annoying, but you do have a strong personality and that can deter some." He smiled gently, "As for a pond... Hm, sounds interesting. You really are a privileged kid, aren't you?" He said the last bit with a laugh, to try and not sound so accusing.
~*~

Alluvial pouted. "Again, it's not me that's priveledged, it's my parents." He said, going out to the garden that surrounded the pond, dragging the other along with him. "I just get lucky cause of them. So, you like the pond?" He asked, the water was pond water certainly, but it still held some odd form of beauty to it. And to mention the lillies growing atop of the water and the reeds and garden aroud the pond. "It feels so homelike at this pond." He said, sitting on the dry bank, slipping his shoes off and letting his feet in the water.
~*~
The violet-eyed man admired the pond silently for a moment, hands on the gentle curve of his own hips before his gaze shifted to the other. He found himself more interested in his little tutoring buddy than that of the pond. Amethyst quickly shook himself from these thoughts with a fierce shake of his head and an embarrassed cough. With one hand he adjusted his glasses, "Well... maybe you were a Koi in a past life?" he asked, perhaps jokingly, but it sounded as though he may actually be seriously considering that possibility.
~*~
Alluvial snorted. "Yeah, no. I'm not water friendly unless it means to get a bath." He said, frowning. "I dont mind swimming, but I am not the best at it either." He said, yawning. "Come on, don't be so shy, sit down with me." He pleaded, patting the ground beside him. "I'll pout if you don't."
~*~
The older man chuckled quietly, "Yes, yes, of course." He sat next to the other, crossing his legs and resting his palms on his knees, doing well to not let his gaze return to the other. Amethyst took a moment to actually enjoy the placid surface and let out a long, relaxed breath. "You're right.. this place does have a certain... soothing quality. That's nice. You don't get many places like that around here."
~*~
Alluvial smiled. "No, but their nice when you can find them." He said, yawning and leaning his head on the other's shoulder. "So, what do you do when you're not tutoring poor stupid children like myself?" He asked, running his fingers around in the grass.
~*~
Amethyst let out a soft sigh, "Well... I do a lot of... wandering, you know? I may have no sense of direction, but whenever I walk somewhere I always end up someplace magnificent. So I guess I do a lot of sight-seeing... and when I'm not doing that I'm in the Universities library reading. I guess you could call me adventurous, but more curious than anything. I want to know how everything works." He smiled quietly, violet eyes searching the pond before he risked a glance at the other, "...I guess I'm not really very interesting, sorry." The man let out a little laugh. "Wish I could say I was all athletic, or a poet or something. I'm just a lonely scholar with too much time on his hands."
~*~
Alluvial smiled. "I think you're very intereting actually. We should go on an adventure at one point, what do you say?" He asked, looking up at the other now. He just looked so familiar. "Maybe along the way I will remember where I have seen you before." He kept eye contact with the other, blushing sligtly
~*~
Amethyst smirked slightly, "I would like that, yes." he admitted. The man tilted his head after a moment, as if the angle would help him understand why he too, felt this strange familiarity. "Hm..." He pursed his lips thoughtfully, "...You're an interesting child, little Alluvial. I'm glad I get to be your tutor and I do hope we can end up being more than that." After a moment he seemed to realize how that could be interrupted differently and he flushed slightly, but realized he didn't mind so much. The realization in itself confused him greatly.
~*~
Alluvial blushed. "More than that? Well, you said you were my friend... do you mean more than that as well?" He asked shyly, his eyes holding his hope for him, concealed beneath their grey-green color. "I mean, I wouldn't mind...I didn't think you were interested in me though." He added, looking up still at the other, wondering what he would say next if anything.
~*~
Amethyst looked dumbstruck at first, then rather embarrassed before he laughed hard, dropping his face into his hand, shaking his head. "You really do come off strong, don't you, little Alluvial? I guess we'll see what happens in the future, no? You do interest me quite a lot, little one... and to say the very least I wouldn't mind exploring a few options with you." He raised his face from his hand, side-glancing at the other and smirking.
~*~
Alluvial felt slightly embarassed but he couldn't help but enjoy being near the other. He kissed his cheek. "So, since you're confusing me, does that mean I can tell mom that you're my boyfriend?" He asked, eyes lighting up brightly at the concept. "She's been after me some time now to get a boyfriend."
~*~
Amethyst laughed, "I like you." He finally said between his outburst of laughter, "You're straight forward and to the point. Sure. Why the hell not?" He smiled at the other. "You're lucky to have a mother that loves you unconditionally. Take good care of her, all right?"
~*~
"Oh I will." He smiled and hugged the other. 'I hope that.. one day we can be inseperable. I think I much like you. And I have this really obnoxious feeling that we've met somewhere. Oh! The university is having a dance of sorts if you'd like to go with me?" He asked, an image of them dancing with one another present in his mind.
~*~
Amethyst eyed the other before shrugging, "Well.. I suppose that would probably be a good idea. When's this dance you speak of? I don't read much up on events like that..." He trailed off before returning his violet gaze back to the pretty boy beside him, "I... think maybe if we spend more time together we might remember where we saw each other once. Which is strange, since I've never left this city before." He frowned, "At least... I don't think I have."
~*~
"The dance is in three days." He said, smiling. "I just seem to recall you, but I don't know where." He said, smiling. "Obviously it's a good thing, I don't feel threatened around you. Maybe in a past life?" He asked, shyly taking the other's hand. "If anything I feel like we've been in love before." He blushed at this. "I.. mean.. errrmm.. heyy let's go see if mom has cookies or something." He stood and walked briskly away, surprised he had dared say something like that.
~*~
"Past life, huh?" Amethyst mumbled, watching the other go as he rubbed the back of his neck, frowning. That was an interesting statement. Amethyst took a moment longer before he decided to follow Alluvial. He whole-heartedly agreed in a strange way--they knew each other. From somewhere. This familiarity wasn't just a coincidence. It was destiny. The unknowingly former King of Heaven and Hell was sure of it.
~*~
Alluvial went to his mother who was just pulling cookies from the oven."Mother, yay you made cookies!"

His mom smiled at him. "Yes I certainly did. Now, is your friend staying for supper?"

Aluvial grinned. "Yes mother, my boyfriend is staying for supper."

Alluvial's mother practically squealed in delight. "Oh! My little angel! I am so happy for you!" She said, hugging him and then she hugged Amehyst. "Thank you for making my son happy. You'r an angel yourself, the both of you are so sweet and he's been so dreadfully lonely. You seem like such a nice boy too. But come! Sit sit, I have made cookies for you two and then I will start on dinner."
~*~
Amethyst embraced the woman back as best he could without trying to seem too awkward. He liked her, she was a good mother, but she was still somewhat of a stranger. The white-haired man pushed up his glasses absently, smiling to her. "Thank you very kindly, Ma'am. I really do appreciate your kindness."
~*~

Alluvial's mother gave a nod. "He's polite too! Where did you two meet?" She asked, humming about as she busied around the kitchen.

Alluvial smiled."At school." He said, leaving pause so his newly made significant other would be able to fill in the rest. He hoped the other didn't mind being fawned over, his mother was very caring and happy.
~*~
Amethyst looked to the shorter man, not really sure if he should elaborate but decided his mother probably should know. "Well, I'm a tutor at the University. Little Alluvial here was placed under my guidance. I promise to make him get the best grades in Biology he possibly can get." Amethyst grinned to Alluvial, /even if we must take it upon ourselves to issue some late night studying/, he thought, and then upon realizing how entirely impure that very notion was promptly coughed into his hand, embarrassed, before looking away and suddenly finding the far away wall to be extremely interesting.
~*~

Alluvial giggled as he thought his own perverted thoughts. "Perhaps I should have tried for anatomy instead." He said, quietly so only his lover to be could hear.

Aluvial's mother gave a sweet sound. "Well, I trust in your techniques." She said, smiling."Wel! Dinner is ready. Why don't you tell me about yourself, Amethyst." She added, setting the table for them.
~*~
Amethyst flushed slightly at the other mans remark before fixing his glasses and trying to focus on Alluvial's mother. "Ah, oh, yes. I suppose that would be appropriate. Unfortunately my life is quite a bore. I grew up in the local orphanage, did well with my studies, and received a scholarship to go to the University." He shrugged, smiling almost apologetically, "Like I said... I didn't have a very rich life... " he trailed off, not really liking his choice of words, "We all must work with what we have, right?" He laughed quietly at himself, feeling sort of stupid but not really knowing how to save himself. His lavender gaze turned desperately to Alluvial as if begging him to change the subject.
~*~
Alluvial smiled. "Well, after supper do you want to go back up to my room and we can work on our studies again." He said, smiling. He nibbled on his food almost in a bored fashion. "Mnn! Mom it's really good." He said, savoring the taste of the meat he ate. "What are we having for desert?"

"Pie, darling, blueberry pie." His mother said, smiling at them both. "And, Amehtyst,do your parents know of the arrangement between you two?"
~*~
Amethyst stared blankly at her for a moment before looking away and adjusting his glasses absently, "Well... technically no..." he cleared his throat uncomfortably, "I was never adopted so I legally don't have parents. I'm pretty much owned by the country." He had thought he had made this rather clear to the woman when he mentioned he grew up in the orphanage, but it seemed she didn't quite catch the cue. Then again, most people didn't understand the whole orphanage life so he couldn't help but understand her confusion.
~*~
Alluvial's mother frowned. "I am sorry darling, I know you said you grew up in an orphange, but I thought they may have given you parents by now.." She said with a small frown. "I apologize."

Alluvial placed a comforting hand on his lover's knee, continuing to nibble at his chicken while his mind went off to wondering what it would be like if he hadn't had any family.
~*~
Amethyst chuckled at the word 'given'. Was it really that simple? No, he reckoned not. He had not mentioned what a little terror he had been as a child which was the real reason he was 'unfit' to be adopted. Lucky for him he had brains, so he wasn't a complete failure. Amethyst smiled to Alluvial and then back to the boys mother, "Oh, no, don't worry. It's a common misconception."

It was in that moment, really out of sheer luck (or maybe misfortunate) that Amethyst suddenly remembered he should be somewhere. Actually... he should be at that somewhere right... Amethyst looked at his watch 4:38... some thirty minutes ago. He paused for a moment, trying to take it in. Where was it again? That... oh... oh right. Exam. Philosophy exam.

The white-haired man jumped suddenly to his feet, "I, am.. um... terribly sorry, but I am very late... for... for an exam." Late? Amethyst late? It wasn't unheard of, he was always late... but to be over an hour late? The Professor may not give him any lenience for that. "Excuse me, Alluvial, Ma'am." He turned to leave and then as in after thought kissed Alluvial on the forehead before practically sprinting out of the room and towards, what he hoped, would be the University.
~*~
Alluvial gave several confused blinks before smiling. "Okay! Bye sweety!" He said, smiling and nibbling his food. His mother and he talked for a long time, just about the relationship and how it came to be and such and then he had his desert and went on up to bed, wondering what to wear for the dance. He couldn't wait for the dance, in fact he begged for it, to spend time with his new found romance was going to be nice for him.

He went to the closet, finding his courting clothing, his white and gold and green outfit (unknowingly to him very much resembling the one he wore at the ball in heaven, not that he knows about that). He grinned as he thought it would be the perfect outfit to wear. He set it aside, wondering what else he could do to pretty himself up for his boyfriend.
~*~
After literally getting on his hands and knees begging his Professor to have some sympathy (and reluctantly receiving his test, but with only ten minutes left to work on it) Amethyst's time ran out and with a terribly pathetic sigh he slid his chair backwards, throwing his hands up into the air before grabbing his test and handing it in. His Professor shook his head at him and sighing again Amethyst shuffled out of the room.

"Wow, Ammy. An hour late? That's bad."

"Shut up, Neyson." Amethyst grumbled, not really wanting to deal with the other kid. He needed to get his mind off things in general. There was that ball... he could try to find something decent to wear. Didn't have some robes in the back somewhere that he had to wear to church back when he was forced to at the orphanage? Hopefully they still fit.

After forty minutes of wandering and getting pointed in the right direction continuously, Amethyst finally made it back to his dorm room where he began to rummage fiercely through his closest. He let out a noise of happiness upon finding the light lavender robes, trimmed in an array of amethyst tones. He paused momentarily, running his fingers over the stones, his eyes rising to stare blankly off into space.

That... was so familiar. He shook his head, shrugging. Probably the church stuff was bringing it all back. When had he last gone to church? Probably since he started University and learned that he didn't believe. Amethyst chuckled before laying out the robes. Alluvial was going to have a good night, Amethyst would makes ure of it.
~*~
Finally that special day arrived. Alluvial hadn't seen his not so long ago announced boyfriend in what seemed like ages, though in reality it was only a few days. He was over the top with excitement. He made sure he had everything well in order before he proceeded to school, looking all over for his lost darling. He wanted to tell him how much better he'd improved in science and all of his subjects even though they hadn't had much tutoring time, he wanted to complain about all of the small injustices that were his school work and it's four hours of completion. He worried also that maybe the other hand found him because he found someone else. All the worry and stress was destroying him on the inside. And then he suddenly crashed right into a someone. "Oh! Amythest!" He hugged the other instantly after he stood back up. "Heyyy!!! You never come over or call and I have been so busy and.. you still love me?" He shouted out all at once, one of the other's hands trapped in his while he gave a small pout.
~*~
Upon their sudden collision Amethyst's glasses slipped crooked on his face and he stared at Alluvial slightly bewildered, unable to fix his glasses due to his hands being occupied by the others. Amethyst, however, smiled a somehow charming smile despite his disarray and leaned down to press a gentle kiss to the others cheek, "Of course, my little Alluvial. I apologize sincerely for my absence. Do forgive me?" He reached up with one hand to fix his glasses and still holding onto the corner of them leaned close, "I hope I didn't hurt your feelings, little one. I've been very busy. A kiss in return for forgiveness?"
~*~
Alluvial leant and kissed the other on the cheek. "There! You're forgiven! Now! Who's picking up who for the dance?" He asked, helping re-fix the other, adjusting his clothing in all places necessary and possible to adjust and then smoothing out his boyfriend's hair. "Mn, there, that's better." He smiled while waiting for the answer, happy to see that while he was fixing the other's shirt that he also didn't see marks from others, that meant that as far as he could tell no one else had had him which made him overjoyed.
~*~
Amethyst had to think for a moment before realizing what Alluvial was talking about. He hid his surprise with a beaming smile, "Oh, little Alluvial..." He paused, thinking. Amethyst didn't have the luxury for transportation besides his own two feet and that would be too embarrassing for both Alluvial and Amethyst. "I...um..." He coughed, smiling wider than before. "I am but a poor university student, and seek your most humblest apologizes..." the violet-eyed man laughed quietly, shrugging and his smile seemed to become more apologetic if anything.
~*~
Alluvial smiled and kissed him. "That's okay, I can come get you. Do you want me to pick you up at your place? I don't know where you live." He said, huming as he thoght about their night ahead of them. He would just rent a crriage for them and that way it would be adorable in the way they arrived at the dance.
~*~
"Oh, I live in the dormitories on the North end of campus." He smiled gently, "Thank you for being so understanding, my little one. I must say, I am a little embarrassed that I can't provide you with a magnificent entrance..." He sighed dramatically, "So, instead I shall make it up to you by being the most proper escort you can possibly imagine."
~*~
Alluvial smiled. "You seem to think I mind about your state of appearance or something. As long as you're there with me it wont matter. It will be perfect. You could show up in a potatoe sack and I'd still be the happiest. So! With that said, you should give me directions to your home and then tell me a good time."
~*~
Directions? Amethyst laughed out loud. Amethyst couldn't even find his own room even after living in it for nearly three years. "Alluvial, my love." The young man reached into his pocket and pulled out a piece of paper and a pen, scribbling an address. "I can't even find my classes half the time. My address is the only help I can give you. You may arrive whenever you please, I should be ready any time after five."
~*~
Alluvial nodded."Okay." H eblshed at being called love. "I'll be there then. I should go home now and get ready." He said, smiling and kissing the other. He took the address and smiled at it as he read. "Oh.. you don't live too far you know. I'll be there five thirty." He said, kissing him again. "Bye for now!" And with that he ran off to his home, getting there by a simple walk that he wanted to partake for fun. He was too excited to not walk, this way he would not have so much adrenaline and would be more relaxed when the event actually did happen. He grinned. Things were going to be fun! It didn't take him too long to reach his home and when he did he immediately bounded upstaires, having not seen his mother anywhere and grabed his outfit, jumping first in for a bath and letting his hair dry naturally, frowning at how time consuming it was to be ready.
~*~
Amethyst watched the excited little boy leave and he chuckled, rather amused. He wasn't use to people fawning over him like this, but he wasn't exactly objected to the idea. The white-haired man ran his fingers through his hair, wandering down the hallway. Where was he going again? Some class...

"Amethyst, you're with me. History." A young man called, waving his hand at the wandering fallen angel. Amethyst veered towards him and sat through the longest lecture he ever had.

When that was done and through with Amethyst made his way home, many people who had grown accustomed to pointing him in the right direction every day greeted him and urged him on his way. When he reached home he deposited his belongings on the floor and began to ready himself. When would Alluvial be here? An hour? Amethyst huffed--he didn't really need that long, did he?

/Oh well, better safe than sorry./ It took him less than twenty minutes to ready himself completely. He was adorned in the lavender, amethyst studded flowing ao dai, white pants and a fancy pair of sandals that wrapped up around his ankles in an interesting sort of way. His hair, because he found it increasingly annoying for some reason this way, he shoved up into a messy pony tail that still somehow accented his boyishly pretty features. Yes... his mortal self mirrored that of the once King that ruled over everything a lifetime ago.

~*~
All of the actions he performed seemed oddly familar as though he'd done them before. And thus he was ready. He grinned at his reflection and bound off with a carriage, giving directions to the driver, and arriving at the othe'rs house, blushing as he knocked on the door.
~*~
Amethyst answered the door and upon seeing his date, couldn't help but grin devilishly. "My dearest, Alluvial," he said, sweeping into an elegant bow. He straightened, taking the others hand gently in his and placing a kiss upon it, "You have really out-done yourself. I am very pleased... You look like a little angel."
~*~
Alluvial smiled, flashes of some other heavenly place slipped into his thoughts. "I swear I have seen you like this in a dream somewhere." He said softly, finding the other to be devilishly handsome. Something was slightly different about the other's character all together as well. He blushed. "Are we ready then?" He asked, eyes looking up to the other as he questioned him.
~*~
Amethyst grinned, pushing up his glasses before offering his arm to the other. "I am ready whenever you are, my love." He escorted the other out, and was hit with a sudden feeling of deja vu. Hadn't he..? The fallen angel cleared his throat, a little disturbed, "I must admit that I am most awkward in dance, for I have swear I must have two left feet... However, if you're patient with me I think we can enjoy ourselves anyhow."
~*~
Alluvial blinked, having heard the words from somewhere, but it didn't seem like they had ben about Amythest, but someone who.. worked for him? No that couldn't be! He didn't have anyone that he knew who worked for him. He blinked."That's all right my love. You know.. I think I keep having dreams about you subconsciously." He said, unnerved a moment before shakng his head from the thoughts. "Ah well. Let's see what it looks like inside." He grinned and lead the other inside the ballroom of the school. "Oh wow.. it looks like.. the night sky.." his mind swirled with memories, or they couldn't of been memories, they had to have been dreams.
~*~
Amethyst admired the ceiling, truly impressed. "Well, they've really outdone themselves, haven't they?" A grin drew the corners of his mouth upwards and he leaned down to pull the other into a close embrace, "It makes me feel as though my beautiful little angel fell from the heavenly stars above... Right here into my arms. Well, my little fallen angel, I promise," he took the others chin gently with one hand, leaning close, "I will make your little journey here well worth it. Would you care to dance, little Alluvial?"
~*~
Alluvial blushed and nodded. "Certainly..you devil." He said, grinning, slipping his hands in apropriate position. He couldn't wait to dance with the other, and lucky enough the first song was more of a romantic slow kind, which was odd considerng they normally wouldn't start a dance out so slow in the begining. "What do you want to do after here? Could you come home with me and spend the night?"
~*~
Despite the fact that Amethyst claimed he was incapable of dancing, he actually did quite well. "Your place?" Amethyst's glasses caught the light and glinted in an almost comically mischievous way, "Why, little Alluvial, nothing would please me more greatly."
~*~
Alluvial blushed. "You look like you're about to eat me." He said, smiling softly. He frowned as the song stopped. "Well, do you want anything to drink?" He asked, holding onto the other still. He was ready to do as the other beckoned. As though he was in charge of him.
~*~
"Oh, surely." Amethyst took the others hand and scouted about for their designated area. Upon spotting it he lead the other over, "Would you like anything, Alluvial?" he questioned, lifting one of the cups up for the other. "I certainly hope this is not spiked. I am quite the scene when drunk." he chuckled quietly at the memories, shaking his head
~*~

Alluvial smiled. "Awe, now I am curious to what you'd look like if you were drunk." He hummed and nodded. "Yes, just a small glass would be good." He said, humming. "Mn, I like the atmosphere here, it's delightful." He said, standing close to the other, " I like standing near you the best of course."
~*~
Amethyst poured the other a glass and handed it to him before making one for himself, "Well, of course you enjoy being near me, I am most positively and utterly magnificent. It is undeniable." He took a sip from his drink, resting his other arm across Alluvial's shoulders, "And I can assure you, the drunk part of me would been ten times as arrogant as I."
~*~
Alluvial blinked. He didn't think it was at all possible that what the other said was true. He smiled and kissed his cheek. "Well, even though you're full of yourself, I still love you." He said, humming. "Mn, do you feel like we've met before? I keep having the strangest thoughts.. " He quested, wondering the thing.
~*~
The man pursed his lips, his eyes ghosting up to stare at the peculiar ceiling above. "Yes... I feel like life has been one big déjà vu." His eyes narrowed slightly and then returned to the others face, which he admired for being so pretty. "...Though I really can't place it. Kind of like..." He squinted one eye, making a face, "...kind of like I knew you in another life. But that's just a stupid thing to say, don't you think?" He took another long sip from his drink, trying to hide his slight embarrassment. What was he saying? Alluvial was going to think he was stupid.
~*~
Alluvial smiled. " I know exactly what you mean. It seems.. like we've been together. Like.. we've worn these outfits, that we've danced in a room similar to this. In fact it almost seems as though we should next be in a garden..." He said, blushing at how silly he sounded. "I feel silly now..."
~*~
"Mm... A garden does sound nice..." Amethyst pulled the other close and sighed dreamily, "And how romantic that would be? You and I, lying among the flowers next to a pretty little pond with lily pads and bubbling little Koi." He was trying not too sound too corny, but he realized he wasn't making much of an effort to hide it. He may not be into romantic settings much, but everyone else did. He didn't mind playing the part, even if he was a terrible Romeo.
~*~
Alluvial blushed. "Such things you say!" He said, swooning at the other's words. "And we're above the world, you with your feet in the water for who knows what reason and me laying beside you and then .. and then something weird happens but I don't know what!" He said, grinning. "It's just this dream I kept having, anyhow..." He looked dreamily up into the other's eyes. "My knight in shining armour, my prince, my king.."
~*~
"King, hm?" Amethyst set his drink aside, "I certainly like the sound of that." He straightened, taking hold of the front of his robes and striking the most noble pose he possibly could, "It suits me well, don't you think? I think I would make a fantastic King... I mean, with all this regality I possess I simply cannot think of a better possession for me to hold."
~*~
Alluvial smield and kissed him. "Yes, and I am forever your loyal little helper."He said, thinking that even though his darling had never acted in such a way as he had been in the last few moments that it was how he'd always been. Where he got that idea was terribly unknown.
~*~
Amethyst laughed quietly, taking Alluvial's chin with one hand and then leaning forward to nuzzle his nose against the others forehead, "Of course, my loyal helper... My..." he started laughing, "My Queen?" He couldn't help himself, the thought was entirely too adorable to not vocalize. Alluvial was definitely pretty enough, so the thought had, naturally, been playing in the back of his mind. It was a silly thought, but an extremely amusing one--Amethyst's obnoxious fit of laughter was very proof of that.
~*~
Alluvial blushed. "Yes, I'm your queen.." He said, not caring at the word. He secretly liked the title, felt it was somehow right. "You're secretly laughing at me on the inside aren't you?"
~*~
Amethyst let out another fit of laughter, "Oh, little one, don't you worry about a thing. You would most definitely make the most gorgeous queen in all existences. Women would be put to shame by your radiating beauty."
~*~
Alluvial smiled with his blush. "Oh! I see." He smiled sheepishly then for a girl not too far away heard the comment and gave him an incredulous look. He could only retort with a simple 'what?" in her direction before rolling his eyes. "You make them angry." He said to his lover, referring to those around them.
~*~
Amethyst snorted, "Let them angry," he stated. The white-haired former-King took one of Alluvial's hands and guided him into a quick twirl, "They're just jealous, that's all. I say flaunt your delectability. I know that I don't mind." Humming his own little dance tune, took took hold of Alluival's waist and free hand and began to dance them about the room. "You can't say you're displeased with my compliments, now, are you?" he grinned, "I must pay tribute to my beautiful little one, don't you think?"
~*~
Alluvial blushed and nodded. "Yes, I think so. But do be careful, all the blood shall rush to my face and I will have none to my beating heart and thus will die!" He said, smiling up at the other while he was lead about through the dance. He gave the other a shy peck on the lips while he watched the room twist and whirl about them, laughing at how things were just so nice, so brilliant. "This is the best time I have ever had." He said, truthfully.
~*~
Amethyst frowned down at the other, "Well, we would most certainly like for your heart to continue to beat. I most assuredly would not be pleased if you were to faint dead away here. What would your mother say? I do believe that is a most improper way to try and win over your dates mother, wouldn't you agree?" Amethyst smiled brightly and quite boldly gave the other a fierce kiss on the lips, "Best time in your life? Well, my little Alluvial, the night has just begun!"
~*~
Alluvial blushed and kissed the other in turn. "Has it? And what else do you plan to do with me?" He asked, finding his knees feeling weak as th eother held him. He held tight to the other. "I'm in love with you." He whispered.
~*~
The violet-eyed man laughed, "Oh, my naughty little Alluvial..." He let out a soft sigh and smiled, "I could do all sorts of things to you, but I am not so sure if that would be most appropriate for a first date..." He pursed his lips and tilted his head, "Love? Hm..." His eyes narrowed slightly; he liked using the word love as a noun, not so much a verb. He shrugged mentally; what did he care? Alluvial had something... something he couldn't quite place. Something that you didn't just spring up out of no where.. No, they had met somewhere before. This... love was deeply rooted. Where, though, he couldn't quite remember. "Hm... Motley, two summers ago? No, that couldn't be it..." he drew Alluvial around in a exaggerated dance steps, "Maybe some lecture class... Ah, but you're new..." he let out a frustrated sigh, "My dream? Ah, so cliche... but it's all I got." He was rambling, that was for sure.
~*~

At the mention of a dream, Alluvial almost stumbled in his dancing. "Wait! Do you keep having a dream too? About us? Where we are dancing in.. well a heavenly place. I think I depict you as a ruler of some form and I was.. well I am not entirely sure what I was to you in the dream, I know we were lovers. There was another, and they were jealous I think..." He paused. "And then someone challenged your rule so to speak. I must sound silly." He said, frowning. "They killed you in the dream and I..well, it's just a dream." He blushed and kissed him. "I apologize, I must sound as though I am speaking nonsense." Alluvial flushed brilliantly and was soon growing tired of the party. "We should return to my home where we can dance in private and sit amongst the garden."
~*~
Amethyst stopped their dancing and searched the others face for a moment before nodding. He fixed his glasses and looked away before offering his arm to Alluvial. "I can't very well say no to that face. To... a more private setting it is."
~*~
Alluvial nodded and blushed. "Yes. I must have talked too much, I apologize." He smiled and lead the other out, caling a carriage. "Let's go to my house" He said, looking happily up at the other's gaze.
~*~
"Of course," Amethyst replied with a gentle smile. He stared quietly up at the night sky for a moment before his lips pursed together thoughtfully, "A party? Maybe. I don't drink much but I can recall a few times when I was particularly smashed." He side-glanced at his date before he shrugged and nonchalantly interlaced his hands together in front of himself. "But that wouldn't be romantic would it? Nah... I think we should most definitely stick to the 'in my dreams' bit." He wasn't so sure why he was so bent on remembering--all he knew is that it was his nature to not be left in the dark. When he had a problem--or a question, he always received an answer. It seemed, however, that some questions were a little more tricky to answer than others.
~*~
"No, I was thinking more along the lines of us sitting near the garden, kissing and thinking about our lives together." He said, holding the other's hand. "I don't drink." He said, smiling. As the carriage arrived he helped the other inside, not that he needed to.
~*~
Amethyst chuckled quietly and sat down, "Such a gentlemen. You spoil me." He stretched out his legs and reached up to adjust his glasses. "As for the sitting and kissing part? Can we cuddle too? Maybe even whisper sweet nothings into each others ears? Sounds fun."
~*~
Alluvial blushed."Certainly." He wasn't sure if the other was joking or being serious. He leaned upon him while he replayed the last couple of days in his mind. Everything seemed like.. well a dream. He smiled softly. "I never want to wake up from you."
~*~
Amethyst half-smiled down at the other before reaching his arm around him and pulling Alluvial close. He thought for a moment, quietly, sincerely. With a slight smirk he looked at the other, "Well, good, because I'll be in your dreams whether you want me there or not." Pushy? Maybe. But he figured Alluvial would find some amusement in that statement.
~*~
Alluvial gave the other a kiss and smiled up at him. "I don't mind, I am not complaining in the least bit." He said, kissing his lips. "In fact, I much like you there." He smiled as his house came into vision. "Ah! And we are home!"
~*~
Amethyst smiled, fixing his glasses and eyed the house. "Home indeed..." He cleared his throat when the carriage stopped and quickly got out, offering his hand to Alluvial. Amethyst frowned slightly and glanced over his shoulder towards Alluvial's home and narrowed his eyes slightly, "Are your parents home, Alluvial?"
~*~
Alluvial frowned. "No, mother went to a tea party of sorts at a friends house to give us time here alone." He looked up at the house. "Maybe she forgot to turn out the lights?" He began to run up to his gate and noticed the lock was broken. "Or..." He didn't know what the 'or' was, he pushed the gate open and looked closer up at the house, noticing the door was ajar and the window next to it was broken. "The window's broken.."
~*~
Amethyst stood quietly for a moment, studying the broken window. "Either... she forgot her keys and decided to make a very juvenile entrance, or my friend, you have a few pests." He thought for a moment--the best course of action would, of course, be to leave and seek out professional help... Though Amethyst didn't exactly think rationally all the time. "You should probably stay here. I'm going to go investigate. They're probably gone anyways."
~*~
Alluvial frowned. "Please don't go without me." He said, whimpering slightly as his beloved neared the house. He followed him, staying low as he heard things being crashed about from where they were. "Who the hell.." He growled and peeked in a window. "Amythest, someone's in there... trashing my house..."
~*~
The violet eyed man snorted, "Obviously they're not too into stealing valuable things. It's probably some stupid kid on drugs. Come on, let's go scare the hell out of him." He winked down at Alluvial. "Off we go!" With a grin he pushed up his glasses and hopped up the stairs and inside.
~*~

With a ready hand, the burglar spun as the other's entered the house, firing a shot at Amethyst and hitting him in the leg. He then rounded his gun on Alluvial, also hitting him , but he hit him in the side. "You all better turn around if you plan to live." He warned, grabbing more valuables.

Alluvial was sprawled on the ground, clutching his side where he'd been shot. It was pouring out blood, apparently having struck a vein and perhaps a vital organ or two. He groaned and doubled over on the ground as he lay. "Amythest!"
~*~
Amethyst began to panic, but suddenly a warm reassuring feeling filled him. His vision, however, started to become blurry and at first he reasoned it had to be from the loss of blood. Absently he reached up to pull off his glasses and wasn't at all surprised to see that his previous poor vision had returned to something beyond human. He blinked once, twice, tilted his head one way and then a grin slowly appeared. Memories began to flood back, flickers of days long ago, brief but carrying much more meaning and feeling then he could describe. The memories became more recent--he had died. Though he was no longer such. Amethyst, the King, was back.

His leg hardly felt like anything, in fact, it felt more like a tiny scratch. His last memories as himself had been laying in Alluvial's arms, bleeding uncontrollably from severe wounds. This wound from these mortals weapons were nothing. However, the mortal had, indeed, touched his Alluvial. A cool rage lifted from Amethyst and shuddering in the air like a vapor it surged forward at the man who had so recklessly shot both he and Alluvial. The vapor began to close around the man, sucking the oxygen from the air and slowly rocking him into a world of asphyxiation. Amethyst, however, still remembered his life here in this world. "Murder" as they called it was not exactly dinner-discussion. When the man lost consciousness Amethyst retreated the vapor and left the unconscious man on the floor.

His amethyst eyes turned to Alluvial. "Little one... Are you... are you all right?" he asked quietly, kneeling down beside the other. He touched the blood on the other and frowned worriedly. Had... Alluvial regained his heavenly self as well? If not... this would could indeed be terrible.
~*~

Alluvial groaned and had also returned, but wasn't entirely knowing of it. He opened his eyes and felt warmth healing his side. "Mn, I feel as though I have been asleep for a long time." He said, smiling as he suddenly recalled everything. He looked up at his lover. "Oh darling you're alive!"He jumped on him, not caring where they were or what had happened.
~*~
Amethyst sighed a sigh of relief and pulled the other close. "Yes, Alluvial. I am fine... How are you? Are you feeling better? Do you... remember everything?" He let out another sigh and then looked suddenly annoyed, "That bastard exiled me, didn't he? That son of a bitch..."
~*~
Alluvial smiled. "He did more than exile you love. He pretty much killed you. Mn, how strange that he let us be reborn down here though. Oh no.. my mother's home, look at this place. Well.. not my mother, but you know what I mean."
~*~
Amethyst nodded slightly, helping Alluvial to his feet. "...I suppose we have a lot of explaining to do..." He looked at the unconscious body and then back to Alluvial, "Or... we can just... lie a lot, pretend we're still us.. and..." Amethyst began to make a face. Now that he had his powers and memories back, there was no way the former King could live life as... a human. Amethyst made a strangled noise before he looked away and sighed, "...Your mother won't take this well, will she?"
~*~
Alluvial shook his head. "No. But then, we don't have to tell her the truth either, don't we have magic powers to make all of the mess go away? We'll banish this guy to hell.... and then cover everything up?" He insisted in a very unlike him fashion.
~*~
The silvery-haired man frowned, his brows furrowing together, confused. He searched the others face for a moment before he shook his head slowly, "No. We can't banish people to hell for no reason. I was King of Hell before. It's very..." He let out an annoyed noise and shook his head, looking to the other. "We still... look the same physically. The blood..." He raised one hand to stare at the blood--the only thing that showed that they had been injured. "I don't know..." He looked to the unconscious man and then back to Alluvial. "Why would you want to banish him to hell? There are worse humans in the world than those that rob houses."
~*~

Alluvial frowned and placed his hand on his lover’s chest. “Shhh, I was teasing love.” He said, looking up into his darling’s eyes. “I just meant, he tried to kill us. I don’t know what to do here. I suppose we could just outright tell my mother, she is rather open minded. But then, what do we do after there? Are we able to go back to Heaven? Can we go back to hell?” He asked, resting his head on the other’s chest for a moment before he began to pick up the things in the room.
~*~
Amethyst shrugged, "Sure, had we been any other person we would have been killed and he'd be a murderer, but we aren't ordinary and he's not a murderer.. That we know of." Amethyst frowned slightly, watching Alluvial fixing up the room. "Why do you think we received our powers back? In the face of death someone pitied our mortal bodies and gave us back our memories and immortality?" He crossed his arms, continuing to frown. "...What do you think?" He watched the other cleaning up awhile longer before reaching the unconscious man and rolled him onto his stomach using his foot. "...Anything to tie silly-head up with? I'd hate for him to wake up and be utterly confused on how we're not dead and he's laying on the floor in a pool of drool."
~*~

Alluvial shrugged. “Probably, I believe we were sent down to learn a lesson. We must have learned it, so yeah, it was probably so we didn’t die before we learned ourselves again. They better not abruptly take them back.” He frowned and was finally finished cleaning. “Well, if this guy needs money I could give him that, mom keeps a large roll in her top drawer..”
~*~
"I say we just dump him off at the local law enforcement. Or in some dark alley. Doesn't make much of a difference to me. Don't give him money." Amethyst nudged the man again with his foot, "He hasn't earned it."
~*~
Alluvial smiled. "Allright, law enforcement it is. And then we can come back to my house and attempt to relax. We'll say we knocked over one of mom's vases and accidentaly slipped on it and got cut." He said, pointing to a broken one.
~*~
"All right. Would you happen to know where this area would be..." he trailed off for a moment, frowned down at the man and then nudged him with his foot again, "...Since we have regained our powers, I wonder if simply... willing him to such an area, hopefully out of any poor pedestrians sight, would work well... Maybe staple a note about how bad a boy he's been to his forehead..." Amethyst tilted his head one way and then the other thoughtfully. "I fear he'd in up in a lake if I tried. Wouldn't care to give it a whirl, would you? It'd save us from trying to explain to your mother why we're carrying this sorry sod around."
~*~

Alluvial smiled. "Sure, my love." He said, focousing as hard as he could on the said enforcement of law station. He felt a surge of energy and at first failed miserably but then it sort of tugged back at him and he seemed to sense how to do it. He grinned. "I got it." He grabbed a piece of paper. "Would you like to write that note?"
~*~
"Certainly!" Grabbing a pencil Amethyst wrote in very fancy, but barely legible handwriting, 'Good evening, dear sirs! I've been quite a naughty boy. I attempted to rob a gentleman's house (I am quite clumsy, you know) and attempted to kill the homeowners, but alas, my stupidity got the best of me and now I am here awaiting trial and jury! Cheers!' Amethyst took the paper and smacked it to the mans forehead and was rather amused that it stuck. "Well... that should produce a few chuckles at the very least."
~*~
Alluvial nodded, trying to hide a giggle before he concentrated, sending this man to the police station. "There, all done!" He said, humming. "Okay, that's all taken care of, the house is clean, and we're here, all alone with one another, what should we do?"
~*~
Amethyst frowned down at his hands as he absentmindedly fidgeted with his finger nails. "...Hm." Amethyst was still trying to process the fact that he had died and therefore lost to the now King of Heaven. It didn't sit well with him. In fact, the demonic part of him was slowly bubbling with rage. The only outwardly sign that he was indeed irked was the way in which his mouth had the slightest frown of disgust, and his right eyebrow was slightly arched. "...We're immortals among humans... Before that didn't mean much, but now..." he looked up at Alluvial, "Are you really all right with that? The lives of these humans we meet and interact with will be like a blink of an eye. People will wonder why we don't age..." Amethyst turned his narrowed gaze upwards, "...That bastard knew this would happen. I find it amusing that he pretended to be self-righteous about our rebirth. He just wanted to watch us struggle to find our way back. If we can."
~*~
Alluvial smiled at his beloved and tried to calm him by placng his hands on his shoulders and massaging them gently. "Well, is there any way we can get back into hell? We could re-take over heavn." He said, frowning. "And that would of course mean having to say goodbye to my mother, but we could come up with some fabulous story about that. I really am at a loss love." He said, kissing his beloved on the lips.
~*~
Amethyst cherished the taste of the other for a moment before his eyes snapped opened and he jerked back, grinning devilishly, "Of course... why didn't I think of that?" Amethyst dropped his chin in one hand while the other propped up his elbow, "We can't have been dead for too long, no? Maybe only twenty or so years, give or take some. I am most sure that a certain wonderful formal attendant of mine is still quite loyal..." His amethyst eyes twinkled with delight, "I imagine with a few gentle whispers across the ethereal world he'd be more than happy to assist us." The demon turned his gaze back to Alluvial, "If you're all right with that, my love. I know you and Ginji weren't the fondest of each other."
~*~
"Yes I am completely fine with that. And he was the one who had a problem with me."Alluvial said stubbornly. "I mean, he's such a brat. But yes, he's loyal, We should probably get you trained before you try and fight what's his name again though..."He said, recalling last time.
~*~
Amethyst tried not to laugh, "Ginji is a little... sensitive. But, loyal he is. I wouldn't want him any other way..." He raised his hands up, ready to summon his former assistant before giving Alluvial a sly look, "That still stings you know. The whole getting my ass handed to me." He sniffed indigently before moving his fingers gracefully through the air, "Come, now, Ginji. I know you haven't forgotten me...Ah! There you are!"

From somewhere far away, a certain demon jerked up from his slight mental stupor. The new King of Hell enjoyed to talk--and not in the same way that the former did. The new King had... an irritating way of talking so highly of himself. Ginji was not fond of him in the least. Which was why he gave the King a dark scowl turned away and in a burst of electricity disappeared from the throne room...

...and right into a slightly disheveled looking home on Earth. Ginji blinked widely, gave Amethyst a startled stare and then looked to Alluvial. His crimson gaze returned to his former King, "My Lord... it has been far too long."

Amethyst grinned widely, "Yes, yes. I missed you too, Ginji. Now put those wings away you silly boy, before you scare some poor soul to death."

Ginji did as he was told and turned to Alluvial. Though Ginji had not been exempt from the last twenty years like Amethyst and Alluvial had of memories, their death's were still fresh in his mind. He still remembered Alluvial's loyalty. It was a loyalty he had learned to respect. Ginji nodded to the little angel, "Lord Alluvial... I..." he struggled for a moment before sighing, resigned. "I apologize for my behavior before. I did not trust you. Though now, you have given me reason to not doubt your heart. I hope we can work together in the future."
~*~

Alluvial smiled. "
You are much forgiven, GInji.” He said, giving the other a nod. “Worry not. Now, how can we get back to Heavn and Hell? We plan to.. re-take the thrones.
“ He said, grinning. “I think it will be highly difficult. How has the new lord been? Has he been doing his job well?” He asked, wondering and going through his mind of all of the possible things to help with if he couldn’t get the other off the throne.
~*~
Ginji cringed at the mention of his current King, "Lord Abas..." the demon cleared his throat, closing his eyes and let out an annoyed noise. "Is not a very well-liked King. I would find it most doubtful that any would raise a hand against you if you were to try and reclaim the Throne." He lowered his gaze, frowning, "However, the King of Heaven is still Lord Apollyon... Unfortunately he is respected, but loved? I am not so sure. Though it is most certain that the Angels will bring up arms against you--regardless if they respected him or not. An invasion of Heaven from Hell is not something taken so lightly..."

Amethyst nodded quietly, sighing, "And, is there a way for you to return us to Hell? I've never been too keen on traveling to Earth. Dreary place."

Ginji smirked slightly, "Of course, My Lord. I only need a short period of preparation. You yourself, as well as Lord Allivial should tie up any loose ends you have here on Earth before. I am doubtful that you will return within the lifespan of any you know now."

Amethyst shrugged--he really never had anyone he was close to on Earth. He looked to Alluvial, who, unlike him, actually had a family. Amethyst waited for the others response.
~*~
Alluvial wasn't sure what he thought or what to do. He decided that sure, he would tell his mother. But what did he tell her exactly? "I don't know what to tell my mother though...." He said, sighing. "I coudl tell her that I decided to go to a different school?"
~*~
Amethyst frowned, cupping his chin in one hand and running his finger over his lips in thought, "I would imagine she would be quite upset that you would not send her letters... Or ever see her again. Either way you're going to break her heart." He said it matter-of-factly, since he could see no other way to tell Alluvial that his mother wouldn't quite understand him suddenly gone. Amethyst shrugged slightly, "I guess the best you could do is give her a big hug, tell her it's been great and then," he threw out his hands, "Poof. Be on the missing person's list until the day she dies."
~*~
Alluvial stared at his beloved. "We can't send letters?" He asked, wondering why. Obviousl they traveled between realms, why couldn;t they write between them also? He sighed and then suddenly he heard the gates open. "Oh.. there she is.." He pointedly looked to the other two. "Hide please."
~*~
Amethyst shrugged apologetically to Alluvial, since he really had no idea if that was possible before he began to usher his taller companion out the back door, "To the backyard!" Amethyst announced. Ginji needed little convincing to 'hide', but he allowed Amethyst to lead him out anyways. It was good to just be around his former--well, current, master again.

"Hope all goes well with his Mum." Amethyst said, frowning. "Wonder what he's going to say."

Ginji shrugged absently, taking place in the shadows outside in the garden, "What indeed?" Ginji questioned quietly.
~*~

Alluvial’s mother came in with a smile. “His sweety! Did you enjoy your date?” She asked, smiling nervously now.

Alluvial felt his eye brow raise. “Yeah.. I did… mom are you okay?” He asked, noticing the woman was wringing her hands.

“Well honey… some things happened and mommy met this really nice man. Only.. he’d not too fond that I have a child. So I am a little upset, there just can’t be any nice men in the world.” She said, sighing.

Alluvial smiled. “Oh? Well.. you know I need to talk to you about something… I mean, you know I love you, right mom?”

His mother nodded, confused. “Yes… of course my sweety, and I love you too, you’re my little boy.”

Alluvial smiled. “Well, I was thinking that I should kind of.. go out away on my own.. ya know? Live life and let you have the house to yourself. I want to discover the world and the other worlds secretly inside the world.”

His mother raised an eyebrow. “Huh? I know you are adopted and all sweety, but I hope you don’t mean to find whoever your real mother was, I found you kind of laying there on the side of the road..”

Alluvial blanched. “Really? That’s … odd. Anyhow! But yes, I want to go explore the world and go make a life for myself. I have a job all ready even, it’s just really far away.” He said, wondering what she would say. He realized he was also borderline lying to her. He sighed, as an angel he wasn’t allowed to lie. “Actually, mom, I am an angel and well I was killed in Heaven to join Amythest who was the ruler of Heaven and Hell until this angel named Apollyon took over and well.. Amethyst got killed, I joined him, we had to relearn things, I think we learnt everything, but we were given our powers back a little early because this man broke into your house and started to rob you, but we stopped him and turned him in to the cops and cleaned everything up… we got our powers back because the man shot us…”

His mother paused and took everything in. “I see…. Ummm.. that explains the pile of feathers I found you in.. and why you were also a naked little child…seems plausible enough. Honey… it is rather far fetched though. Do you have proof, wings or anything?”

Alluvial nodded and in knowing his mother wouldn’t freak out he expanded them enough to show her. “See?”

“Oh.. well you have to write or visit or something, because I wont just let you go if you don’t. You may have been a road-baby, but you’re my road-baby and I love you as though I gave birth to you myself. Although I could have because I was passed out and woke up next to you.. I wasn’t covered in blood or anything..”

Alluvial stared at his mother, never really realizing how strange she was until now. “Oh.. well anyhow! Yes I promise to write. And I will do what I can on visiting, they should let me.” He said, smiling. “I love you mom.” He hugged her tight and she hugged him back.

“Oh sweety, I will keep your room how it is for when you visit.” His mother held back tears. “Ohh my little baby is all growed up!” She said in a small baby-ish voice, sniffling as she began to cry a little. “You make me so proud my little one! And you tell that lover of yours to treat you well ! Send me letters and take pictures of the baby when you have one.. and be safe.”

Alluvial stared. “Mom, I am a boy you know…”

She blinked. “Oh. Funny.. For the last year I thought you were a girl and that you’d changed gender.. you are pretty…oh well. My little boy! Go play amongst your clouds okay? I love you sweety!”She kissed her son on the cheek and hugged him tight before letting him go.

Alluvial returned the affection before giving her a parting smile and headingout the back door with a rather perturbed look on his face. “That was… odd.”
~*~
Amethyst pushed away from the wall, his arms still crossed, one eyebrow raised. "Odd? Why's that?" No screaming, no angry denial, or questioning of yours, or her own sanity? Ah well, humans are odd like that." Amethyst stretched out, yawning absently, "Your mother..." He paused suddenly, remembering for the first time (in a long time) that it was practically undeniable that Alluvial and himself had had the same Angelic mother. Amethyst squeezed one eye shut, frowning and his hands returned to his hips, "Your human mother," he corrected, "is smashing though, I must admit. Nice woman, maybe a little nutty."

Ginji cleared his throat uncomfortably, "Are we ready to depart then, Lord Amethyst? Lord Alluvial?"
~*~
"That's why I was so bewildered upon leaving the house." He said, frowning. "I thinkshe gets to be weirder every year, but yes, we are ready." Alluvial replied, taking Amythest's hand. "So, we go and reclaim hell and plan from there?"
~*~
"Of course, Alluvial." Amethyst pulled the other into a hug before letting him go and turning to Ginji, "Could you... give me that sword of yours, Ginji?" Ginji frowned doubtfully down at the sword strapped to his hip--it was there pretty much for looks when he stood guard over the King of Hell. He didn't use it often considering he preferred spears in real combat.

Ginji unsheathed the sword from his hip and handed it to Amethyst. "I reckon you'll be just dashing about this, won't you?"

Amethyst grinned in response, admiring the blade before nodding to the demon. Ginji placed his hands together and uttered in an ancient language that Amethyst didn't quite recognize, but figured he probably should. It was probably a teleportation spell--

--they appeared in front of the current King of Hell. Abas was a little, wiry, and childish looking thing and he looked all too ridiculous slouched down on the throne looking much like a spoiled brat. The black-haired demon, however, jerked up upon the intrusion of the three men, "Who are you? Ginji? Where did you go? Who is that!?"

Amethyst smiled, pointing the blade he held in his hand at the King, "Move your ass, that's mine." It was amazing how cheery the white-haired man's voice was as he spoke. His smile, however, promised certain death if Abas were to disobey.

"Guards! Ginji! Get him! Get that stupid...little..." Abas' head swung back and forth desperately, waiting for the guards in the room to spring to action and defend their King. None of them moved, and one even had the gall to yawn disinterestedly. Abas' lip quivered and with a snarl he clapped his hands together and a sparkle of light exploded--leaving the throne vacant and awaiting its new successor.

Amethyst grinned broadly took two long strides to his throne and then sat down in it promptly, letting out a sigh of relief as he felt the power of Hell return to him. "Ah, what a lovely feeling."

"Good to have you back, My Lord." Ginji said, bowing. A few other guards nodded in approval and even grinned at their Master.

It was a good day to be in Hell.
~*~
Alluvial smiled and kissed his lover. “You look good on your throne.” He said, kissing him. “I wouldn’t have you any other way. And now, how about we start those plans?” He asked, standing beside his beloved. “I would love to Take my rightful place as well… of course that’ yours too.”
~*~
"Yes... Agreed. But I'd like to take this a little slowly. Appollo-what's-his-face will probably know of my returning almost immediately, so we should just take our time. He... kicked my ass pretty good last time, so I best shape up my magic. Bloody bastard. Being all well-rounded." Amethyst sniffed indigently, crossed his legs and began to pout. His lavender eyes narrowed and then slowly scanned the room," Where are my candles?" he snapped, genuinely annoyed.

The room had returned to that dark, dreary and gloominess. All of his bright candles, bright colors and anything else that reminded anyone of life had been removed.

Ginji tried not to laugh, but he couldn't help himself, "I'm sorry, My Lord. The other guy wanted to feel demonic and was convinced your former throne room was not... scary enough."

"Scary? What a stupid man. Go fetch my other things, Ginji. Get a few of these guards here to help you out, I'll be fine." Ginji smiled, bowed slightly and with a handful of the guards disappeared. Amethyst turned his gaze back to Alluvial. "So... know of any particular stategies? Any angels that would go rogue for me?"
~*~
Alluvial laughed and began to tidy up. “I can decorate, who can decorate a dance room better than me?” He asked. He grinned. “I can make it look as pure as heaven if you want.” He hummed and began to dust with a random cloth that happened to appear on a nearby table.~*~
~*~
Amethyst eyed the other, a little offended the other had deflected his question. The white-haired man shrugged, "Purity is overrated." he stated plainly. The demon eyed the ceiling for a moment before standing and marching over to a bookshelf near the throne and began to pull books from the shelf, throwing most of them over his shoulder but taking care to place a few neatly by his feet.

2009-04-24 [The Vampire Armand]: All right, thank you.

2009-04-25 [Ramirez]: I was just as lost as Amethyst, to be sure. Despite that Alluvial, I'm assuming, will provide a ride or they'll just walk, they still have to end up dropping Alluvial off first so we can get that plot part, yes?

2009-04-26 [Ramirez]: I fI start spelling things wrong, I'm sorry, I don't have my glasses on since they're broken right now.

2009-04-26 [The Vampire Armand]: You just confused me.

2009-04-26 [Ramirez]: Confused you how?

2009-04-26 [The Vampire Armand]: Youre message before about the transportation

2009-04-26 [Ramirez]: Amethyst is dirt poor. He doesn't even own a bicycle, so it's not like he can buy like... whatever their form of transportation at that time is for a date.

2009-04-30 [Ramirez]: I'm not feeling well so I'll reply to this tomorrow sometime. Good night!

2009-06-08 [Ramirez]: I thought that Alluvial said his mother was home?

2009-06-08 [The Vampire Armand]: no, he said that she'd gone out to leave them the house.

2009-06-08 [Ramirez]: thirteen posts up Alluvial says, "Oh no.. my mother's home, look at this place. Well.. not my mother, but you know what I mean." Am I just interpreting that wrong?

2009-06-08 [The Vampire Armand]: As in posession as in 'oh jesus christ my mother's home is a damned mess' and he says 'well not my mother' because they just recieved their memories and as far as he knows his mother is still an angel. Are you still confused? Because I would like you to keep posting even when you're confused, it's like you use it as an excuse to not post. -frown-

2009-06-08 [Ramirez]: I was trying to straighten it out, because my brain was confused why you'd have two contradicting statements saying Alluvial's mother was home, but then saying she wasn't home at the time. Though now I see what you meant. It's not.. an excuse not to post.. it's just silly to post when you're confused what the plot is/who is even in the scene. I was going to post something along the lines of Amethyst stating he thought she was home, but now I can see that writing what I had been planning wouldn't have made sense. I'd rather clear things up before I post instead of messing it up.

2009-06-08 [The Vampire Armand]: -laughs- I know, I was giving you a hard time, I do thank you for asking me about it though. I will try to be more clear in the future.

2009-06-16 [Ramirez]: Well, I posted, but apparently my post didn't stay. It may be because the wiki is truly too big. Should we link to a part 2 of this story?

2009-06-16 [Ramirez]: Well, nevermind. I just read the news. Apparently a bug went through the wiki's. I'll repost.

2009-06-16 [The Vampire Armand]: -nods- The wikis are awkward. They say they're getting too big yet you can post for a long whle after, and then suddenly they wont show post, and of course when they just don't post as you posted.

2009-06-16 [Ramirez]: Yes, I figured that was what had finally happened, but turns out it was just a silly bug =P

2009-06-17 [The Vampire Armand]: You forgot to reply?

2009-06-17 [Ramirez]: Not quite. My internet was being a bitch.

EDIT: My internet is still being a little shit and I can't get the wiki page to open since it's too big. I won't be able to post until tomorrow.

2009-06-17 [The Vampire Armand]: Ah yes, I just read about that in your diary.
