♥ I used to often wear either a studded leather collar or a velvet collar with a bell, both black. This is a much rarer occasion, nowadays.

♥ I'm member #281 of Support Gay Marriage.

♥ I boycott Néstle products.

♥ I currently have four tattoos, and intend to take more as often as finances allow.

♥ I'm a blood donor, and will give up my organs to medicine.

♥ Most people frighten me. Even online, I'm not completely free of my shyness.

♥ Due to a malfunctioning hypophysis, I needed growth hormone medication for about ten years to be able to reach even my current height of 155cm.

♥ I'm an asthmatic, discovered when I was 11 or so.

♥ I've worn glasses since eighth grade, occasionally hating them. I also got myself disposable contact lenses.

♥ I possess an odd sense of humour, and find many small things amusing.

♥ Music is like oxygen to me. There's almost nothing that can make me feel more alive than a good song. I'm willing to try almost every genre out there, too. I used to be in the school choir, and in another for a bit after that, but stopped going. I'd like to be in a choir or band again someday. I recently joined a choir at the university.

♥ I don't have, nor have I ever had, a religious affiliation. My parents both left the Christian church when they were young, and I was never baptised. Personally, I'm agnostic. I don't feel bad for poking fun at the institutionalised church, or questioning someone's beliefs, but I will also treat with respect as long as that is reciprocated. I also have a general interest in just about any religion you can think of.

♥ It's entirely possible I have a slight OCD. Whether or not that is the case, I'm obsessive about some things.

♥ I'm an absolutist - no smoking, no drugs, no alcohol, although I've become slightly more open to the last one as of late. However, I think most alcoholic beverages taste bad. Even if some taste like juice, it'll be cheaper to buy actual juice.

♥ I have three of my own stylesheets for Elftown. If you want to try them out, write '_lami.css', '_lami2.css' or '_lami3.css' in the stylesheet field. I wouldn't recommend it, though - they're outdated.

♥ In theory, I know four languages - Finnish (my mother tongue), German (my first foreign tongue), English (second foreign tongue) and Swedish (second domestic tongue). In practice, however, I'm only fluent in Finnish and English, having a rather poor grasp of the two others. I also know a few words of Dutch and Japanese, both of which I would like to learn along with many other languages (such as French, Latin, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Welsh, etc.).

♥ Johnny Depp used to be the only actor I professed to fangirling. Now I admit to cases of Alan Rickman, Christian Bale and Emma Thompson adoration as well. There are quite a few other actors I like.

♥ I'm a shameless slash fangirl. If I sense a vibe, and like it, I'll not hesitate to indulge. I started out with Kirk/Spock, even though I've never watched Star Trek. Don't ask.

♥ I'm a crybaby.

♥ So not a morning person. I have eyewitnesses, too. Quoth [Teufelsweib], who has personal experience: "*hides from morning-lami* I can imagine how you're shuffeling to the kitchen with your sleepy head, and it's intimidating :p"

♥ I was a vegetarian for about year and a half - a lacto-ovo kind, to be specific. I became an omnivore again mainly because I suck at taking care of myself and for now, it's easier and healthier for me.

♥ I'm totally a geek - or, at least, that's what some people tell me. I still have a ways to go, but I do enjoy playing various RPs, trying to follow techie-talk, and spotting movie/comic/literary references.

♥ I've been bitten by the anime bug. Following that, I've acquired an interest in manga, Dance Dance Revolution, Jrock/-pop, Japanese food, and the culture in general. Predictably, many of my slash OTPs come from various anime series.

♥ My birthday is 18th November, 1986, making me a Scorpio and a Tiger. I don't believe in horoscopes, but they can be entertaining at times.

♥ It's practically impossible for me to keep a pet due to allergies and asthma. I tried having rats once, but ended up having to give them away. I still find myself missing Haru & Hikari sometimes, as they brought light to my life. Nowadays, I can't touch a rat without getting spots. As an affectionate person, this often causes me grief.

♥ I used to have braces and other such nice stuff. I owe my more-or-less straight, sunny smile to dentists.

♥ I'm a very poor swimmer. In fact, in natural water, I can't swim at all. Relating to that, I'm afraid of depths - which is sort of odd as I love water.

♥ Some of my favourite authors are Terry Pratchett, Jostein Gaarder, Eoin Colfer, and Jane Austen. Oh, also, Neil Gaiman and William Shakespeare are my gods of literature.

♥ I have know-how of bookbinding and making jewellery. I still have a lot to learn, but I think what I've made so far is already pretty cool.

♥ I've got a thing for dimples, redheads, long hair (on boys), curly hair, and leather jackets. Especially note the first one.

♥ According to Trin, I am the grammar Hitler. Heil!

♥ My self-esteem is way too fragile. >_<
But I'm building it, piece by piece.

♥ Absolute favourite colour: azure. On a general level, blue and green and certain shades of red are most pleasing to my eyes, but azure transcends that. It is love.

♥ My favourite bands and songs change with my mood, but I will always love Queen and Damn Seagulls the most, and Don't Stop Me Now is quite simply the best song ever.

♥ Believe it or not, I am actually capable of being sadistic, rude, and mean. Most of the time it's unintentional, but I can also be a real bitch if I choose to.

♥ It seems I'm incapable of truly striking another person. Brutal aggression against inanimate objects isn't hard, and I can twist your arm or sink my fingers in it - but straight out hitting someone? Apparently impossible.

♥ My people-reading skills are more or less negated by my insecurity. I can never be sure if I'm interpreting a person correctly unless the signs are more like clue-by-fours. If I'm not sure whether a person likes me or not, I'll tend to hope that they do but assume that they don't.

♥ I am, apparently, Elftown's Queen of Poetry, as per [Artsie_ladie]'s statement. You may decide for yourself whether you think this is true.

♥ I'm in love with both Scotland and the Netherlands, but especially the latter. I hope to become an exchange student in a university there.

♥ I love thunder, and a stormy sea or lake.

♥ Changing of seasons makes me feel like a little girl, I get so excited sometimes. Colouring leaves; the first snow; melting of the ice; first warm days.

♥ Stars are just as likely to drive me to desperation as they are to give me strength. My relationship with them is a deep and inexplicable one, but mostly, I would call it a bit like true love.

♥ I always wish it to snow for my birthday.

♥ Old buildings and ruins make me happy - they trigger my sense of adventure.

♥ I am a baker of strangeberry pastries. No, really. I love baking, and if you give me a recipe, it's more than likely I'll try it at some point.

♥ I am strangely fond of earthworms. I get all excited when I see a lot of them during/after rain.

♥ I've a slight obsession with the numbers 13, 14, 17 and 42.

♥ I believe in reincarnation.

♥ I am (was?) the ugly duckling.

♥ I have a habit of naming stuff. This is applied most consistently to plush toys, although I've forgot quite a few (there are simply too many to remember!). They're not the only ones, though... for example, I just recently bought three cacti and named them Bob, Shirley and Freddie.

♥ I did a brief stint as a real-life nude art model in 2008. Although I can still be rather body-shy and it was physically taxing, I enjoyed the experience.
