I have always been into fantasy. My mom is often mentioning all of the pretend friends I had when I was very young, and I don't know how she put up with my running through the house with a cardboard horn attached to my head, neighing loudly and imagining I was a unicorn. I think imagination is one of the few good things she instilled in me, as she was always reading to me and allowing me to pretend that I was different people or animals. I love people, though I'm not really a people person and have found that I do well to entertain myself.
I grew up on Disney movies, The Last Unicorn, The Labyrinth, and other such movies, and yes, I do believe in fairies, unicorns, and the like.
I found Elftown through Elfwood actually, where I used to spend hours looking though the art, and taking tours.
Many of the friends I've made here are artist in one form or another, and I've found them to be not only wise, but inspiring. I've learned so much here, and fully intend to keep coming back and learning more.
