The Lin is a mammalian creature indigenous to the region of Europe known as Finland. She reads, writes, sings, listens to music, takes photographs, and does some other fascinating and exciting things. She sometimes suffers from delusions of grandeur and occasionally likes to speak of herself in the third person. Fear not; it never lasts too long.

People tell me I'm nice. They may be right.

I study English Philology at the uni. It's quite splendid. Might give me the chance to earn my bread doing something I actually like. (Hooray!) I live with my partner and dream of owning a cat or three. He also does photography, and, among other things, takes my model shots for me. Both of us spend way too much time online.

Although I'm more of an IRL gamer (actually rolling the dice is such a lovely feeling, even when it goes spectacularly awry), I'm open to roleplaying online as well. I should warn you, however, that I will be quite sporadic.

Please be advised that I take an unhealthy amount of pleasure in nitpicking. I would suggest that you turn this proclivity to your advantage. I sure as hell dream of being a professional editor someday. (Or a librarian. Or a translator. Take your pick. They're all much more realistic goals than "author" anyway.)
