I am a female nerd in a relationship. I am a writer, a painter, and a very amateur photographer. I am in the middle of being published in an academic work and am working on self-publication via the internet.

I am majoring in philosophy, creative writing and psychology and minoring in women's studies. My favorite fields in philosophy are logic, epistemology and philosophy of mind. My favorite areas of psychology are abnormal psychology and social psychology.

I enjoy reading, though, I rarely have time for it. I like video games (though with FPS becoming more common that like is dwindling) and anime.

-some awesome books I'd recommend to avid readers: The Odd Thomas books by Dean Koontz, Misery by Stephen King, The Blood Brothers Trilogy by Nora Roberts, the Drizzt Do'Urden books by R.A. Salvatore, H.P Lovecraft works, Poe works, Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, Darkness at Noon by Arthur Koestler

I play Magic: the Gathering. My favorite color in it is black. My favorite color pair is black-red. My favorite shard is Grixis. My favorite wedge is black-green-white, my favorite Nephilim is the Ink-Treader Nephilim. My favorite creature is Blood Tyrant. My favorite spell is Darkness. My favorite planeswalker is Sorin Markov.

Yes, I'd recommend the game to anybody who has some extra money and who might want to get into a competitive, fun environment, and no, I do not play standard.

To reiterate, I am in a relationship and I absolutely do not cyber, send naked photos of myself upon request of said photos nor do I want to read about how hot I am. Reading messages about how hot I am is partly why I generally don't have pictures of myself up for very long. I also don't give out my email address to complete strangers. I do not have webcam relations. You won't get my facebook info either...not that I use it.

I really hate "hi" messages. I generally ignore them. Nothing against socializing. I just prefer to know that the person messaging me has a reason to do so. If you like my drawing, want to know more about my badges, don't know what something on my house means, want to know where I bought the earrings I'm wearing in my picture (and so on), then you can feel free to ask questions or make comments about whatever it is in the message to me.

I do hate when people don't use proper caps to be cool or different. If you forget a capital here or there but are otherwise pretty good about it, I won't mind. If you type in all caps or with no punctuation, the response message will probably be me suggesting how you should have typed the message. I'm an English major. I do that. I could in fact be paid to do that for a living.

I really like role-playing. Get your mind out of the gutter! I enjoy Dungeons and Dragons and being a badass wizard/sorcerer/mage/witch in such games. I adore the Lovecraft mythos. My favorite is the King in Yellow followed by Cthulhu.

I am not a fan of people who mysteriously end up with my cell phone number and start txting or calling me like we're best friends. If you have ever done so, I'll have a hard time getting past that and an even harder time not filing a PFA against you.
