2008-10-08 [Cyrano meets Merso]: Lol...its funny how today, something that should be the most wonderful thing in the world (birth and ressurection of our saviour(easter)), is turned in stress with today comercciall industry...btw If you want to build up muscles eat 2 raw eggs before the gym(or a proteine shake) and you'll be there in no time.

2008-10-08 [Deladreing]: Christmas for me means doing Christmas breakfast and dinner. And it seems kinda pointless, because our New Year celebration goes on for three days, and I get better presents :P
I'd rather skip Christmas >.>

Im trying to loose waight at min.... not working and its too expensive for the gym. Dam expensive gyms, DAM THEM TO CHUBBY HELL
2008-10-09 [Azuri]: Well a gym is more than just weight loss, there are lots of bodybuilding gyms where you put on muscle, we had Golds and Dinos (fairly inexpensive too) in GA and they had a ton of free weights and whatever you really needed. I wouldnt suggest a ton of cardio but a bit is good for you.
our gym(Planet Fitness) is only 25 bucks a month for black card 19 for regular but with black card you get free use of tanning beds and everything plus a free guest every day which is awesome cause I go with my husband which proves that not all gyms are expensive :P Our gym is NICE too all brand new things but mostly geared toward weight loss. Still has free weights but you should see their cardio machines, tv on every one of them lol.
2008-10-09 [The Naiad]: I lost a stone and a half just by healthy eating - you don't need to go to the gym. Walking is brilliant for toning anyway, and that's free!

No you don't but you do need to keep active and the motivation of a gym for some people is the only real opportunity to be active.
2008-10-09 [CelticMoon]: Iv tried going for a walk (but honestly its chav central around me and its not safe) and iv tried exercising at home but i bores me i liked the gym the few times iv gone cos it keeps my mind distracted.
Iv seen a place that does boxercise and aquearobics i think ill go do them ... i get to swim and beat shit up its PERFECT lol
2008-10-09 [Flisk_girl]: I live in the middle of nowhere, so hikes are about the only excersize we get around here. I walk to the pond (which is about 2 miles from my house) and back once every other day. When I don't have to work, of course.
2008-10-09 [Azuri]: Walking and eating healthy will only do so much for so long, trust me I plateaued at 255 with that and now have to kick up my exercise at the gym to include more than just walking. Not to mention walking wont exercise all of what you want and unless you power walk isn't really effective at all.
My friend Dustin lost over 100lbs in a year and then started putting it back on in muscle and walking was part of that yes because he walked to the gym but you need more than that. If you can't afford a gym membership get a cardio Dvd(or find it on the internet^_^) or some hand weights, they are very inexpensive and very helpful.
And if walking is what you still wanna do well there are always leg weights :) We just gave our 10lbs leg weights to our neighbor because she power walks on her lunch around her workplace(6 rounds! I wanna be 51 and be able to do that!) and you can remove the little sand bags to start out at different weights its really handy.

2008-10-10 [Fuu]: I would just walk if I was trying to maintain or lose weight. But putting on weight doesn't go that far with just walking.
Also - I can't do any cardio right now ;_; Have to put off the gym membership because of medical crap happening with my stupid body. And the doctor's have no idea wtf is wrong. I don't remember being this scared before. ;_;
2008-10-11 [Azuri]: To be honest a lot of the stuff on the bodybuilding site I gave can be done at home so look into it and I hope whatever is wrong gets better soon*hug* I know how it can be always having to wonder whats wrong when no one can tell you.
2008-10-11 [Fuu]: Yea I can't do anything in regards to my weight right now until the new problem is figured out. And my parents wouldn't let me even if I tried not after two E.R. visits in one week with only one day in between ;_;
God I wish I could drink.
