Can't live with them, and yes I could easily live without them.

Welcome to Playgans the psychotic rantings of the one Miss [Deladreing]. Formed out of sheer madness and frustration Playgans was born out of a love for religion and genuine faith, mixed in with a healthy dosage of a violent nature and the religious zeal to make even the most devout fundamentalist feel ashamed. The rant began in the year of 2004 and is still going strong. During this time Playgans has come under fire and been branded as a "hate site", Dela herself has been tainted with the foulness of such an accusation.
The aim of Playgans was never to incite or promote religious hatred. The aim of Playgans was to educate the masses on here of fakers, and to give those serious about their faith in the pagan world a place to come to and have a serious conversation about their faith and to find like minded people.
So far it has been working well. The fact that the site contains a lot of references to violence, and psychosis is just [Deladreing]'s style of writing. After all this crap that seems to be well loved is the creation of her mind.
At this point she would like to thank all of those that have shown her project such support. Had there not been so much support from readers she would have allowed Playgans to fade away a long time ago. Thank you to all of you :)
Also, do not link to my pages without asking me first, I probably wont mind, but still, it is common courtesy to ask first.

On with the ranting...

For those of you who don't know me I am a witch. No not "Wiccan" before you say it, WITCH. Wicca is only about 50 years old and was brought about by Gerald Gardner in the late 40's to early 50's when the law of Witchcraft changed here in Britain to that of unlawful Witchcraft to "unlawful mediumship".
I follow a religion much older than that, it is based on the traditions and of practices those who have gone before us, mostly gathered from historic observation; for those that wish to know more contact me or pay a visit to Playgans: FAQ. I have had the advantage of meeting a pagan family that have a lot of "history" as it were. Family Traditionalist Green Crafts whom I owe everything to for clearing all the nonsense out my head. Thank you [Elvómir] and your wonderful family. If it weren't for you lot I'd be running around dressed like a twit "cursing" people.
Wicca is just another sect of paganism like Christianity out of Judaism. It is not the oldest religion in the world. I repeat "only about 50 years old".

Wicca however is not my pet hate. Goodness no its good to see people are still trying to carry on what was once considered "mainstream" religion and honouring the Earth before Christianity came in with the matches and the wood, but lets not drag that old dead horse out again and try to make it walk. (-By the by it was not "Christianity" that killed a whole load of innocent people, if I'm going to be accurate it was the Catholic Church and the Inquisition that was under the control of the Pope, there will be more about this on the other pages-) My fight after all is not with them either.
Its with...them.... the ones who think they know it all after reading some self help book like:
"YOU TOO CAN WEILD MAGICAL POWERS AND BE WICCA WITH THREE EASY STEPS"] and in slightly smaller print beneath that is says:
"All you need is a wad of cash and a whole load of crap tools that don’t actually mean anything and are just pretty toys to confuse idiots like yourself"
(And some people call me cynical.)

Y'know the ones who go around trying to look "inconspicuous"...and do this by wearing a massive great big bloody pentacle that could have been the alternative reason the for the Titanic sinking. (i.e. its Massive and weighs a bloody metric ton) They also suddenly feel the need to start wearing a whole lot of black and apply a lot of eyeliner... usually quite badly. They dress in a way that could be considered "Gothic"
Now fair enough...dress however you want, I have no problem with people who dress Gothic (much).
But just because they have become "Wiccan" doesn’t mean they have to completely change their dress style and developed a case of ASD (Attention Seeking Depression- no its not a real term, I made that up.) and walk around saying "Oh woe is me for I am so misunderstood and lost" the whole time having one eye open watching every one else to see how they will react to their sudden change and dramatics.
And even then when people don’t appear to notice the massive pentacle and the cunning sly look of utter stupidity they have on their faces they start to act out even more.
They do this by doing things that are..."witchy"...instead of saying "Oh crap! I've just stubbed my toe in these ridiculous shoes because I cant see where I'm going as the eyeliner has fused my eyes shut!"
They say:
"Oh Great Goddess of the Stars I have just hurt my foot chakra thus blocking my karma energy and disrupting my aura field"
.........Ok yes I am exaggerating...but just a bit.
This is how some people act.... even though I'll bet you one giant shiny pentacle that they have no clue of what they are on about.

Another classic thing is the old "Don’t piss me off or else" with much wiggling of eyebrows and superior looks and mystical gestures. This is absolutely hilarious to watch. You can see them thinking:
"Aha! I will appear dangerous and mystical at the same time and then no one will dare cross me". Right?

WRONG!!

It just makes them look and sound like an even bigger pillock than they did before.
It is also extremely annoying to those of us who take our religion seriously.
I am sick to my back teeth of having all these little silly children coming over to me and going:
"WOW like oh my god you're into this too. Like oh my god how amazing we can like start a coven like wow how amazing would that be?"
At this point I will either just stare at them in stunned silence as I try to work out what the hell they have just said through all the "likes" or I will just stare at them some more till they wander off looking scared.

Now despite what people may say, I am not scary uber bitch...apart from when pushed beyond my limits, in which case it has been known for one or two things to get broken.... like arms...noses...legs....*coughs*.
But if I think someone is being serious about wanting to learn and they ask me for help I will be more than glad to be on the end of a phone or e-mail to help.
I will however not teach as its not my place to teach others or "initiate" them into Witchcraft or Wicca, only they can truly teach themselves and become pagans or they can seek out a qualified teacher. Its just sometimes we need a little help finding our footing on what can seem like a rather narrow path up a steep hill.
If however I know the person asking is a total wanabee and has watched too many episodes of "Charmed" in their spare time I will always try to kindly turn them away and tell them to rethink this before they make a big decision like this.
Unfortunately there are just some who do not know when to quit. The ones that are so desperate to learn ways to make people fall in love with them or are wanting to hex their ex for calling them fat or other such ridiculous things.
The ones that get on my nerves so much-and I know I'm not alone in this- that you just want to slap them in the face with a wet mackerel filled with sand.... no just me??

And then when you tell them that they are not making any sense and that its obvious they don't know what in God's name they are on about they have the cheek and audacity to turn round and glare at you and threaten you with a curse. "Oh heavens nooo I’m soooo afraid...look at me shaking in my little boots"
...Does it show I don’t care? Thought so.
These people have no "power" all they do is dress funny act like total freaks and scare all the gullible people.

I have been a witch for eight years now.
I have never changed my image. Nor have I flaunted it in other peoples faces that I'm "special", because I'm not. I am a follower of traditional witchcraft. I am a child of the earth, I honour all that lives. I choose not to harm people for that would be going against all that I believe in. I do not make a great big song and dance out of my religion. And no I’m not "into" witchcraft its my faith.
Would a Christian say they are "into" Christianity? No, they would say it is what they Are. Well the same applies to Wicca and every other sect of paganism.
Its not a passing phase nor is it a way of rebelling against my parents or me trying to make myself anymore interesting than I am.
Its who I Am.

And if people want to trash it and make it a mockery of a sham then they have to go through me before I let them drive it into the ground.

2008-10-08 [Cyrano meets Merso]: Lol...its funny how today, something that should be the most wonderful thing in the world (birth and ressurection of our saviour(easter)), is turned in stress with today comercciall industry...btw, for Christmas I want spellingXX)

If you want to build up muscles eat 2 raw eggs before the gym(or a proteine shake) and you'll be there in no time.

2008-10-09 [Azuri]: Well a gym is more than just weight loss, there are lots of bodybuilding gyms where you put on muscle, we had Golds and Dinos (fairly inexpensive too) in GA and they had a ton of free weights and whatever you really needed. I wouldnt suggest a ton of cardio but a bit is good for you.

our gym(Planet Fitness) is only 25 bucks a month for black card 19 for regular but with black card you get free use of tanning beds and everything plus a free guest every day which is awesome cause I go with my husband which proves that not all gyms are expensive :P Our gym is NICE too all brand new things but mostly geared toward weight loss. Still has free weights but you should see their cardio machines, tv on every one of them lol.

2008-10-09 [The Naiad]: I lost a stone and a half just by healthy eating - you don't need to go to the gym. Walking is brilliant for toning anyway, and that's free!

No you don't but you do need to keep active and the motivation of a gym for some people is the only real opportunity to be active.

2008-10-09 [CelticMoon]: Iv tried going for a walk (but honestly its chav central around me and its not safe) and iv tried exercising at home but i bores me i liked the gym the few times iv gone cos it keeps my mind distracted.
Iv seen a place that does boxercise and aquearobics i think ill go do them ... i get to swim and beat shit up its PERFECT lol

2008-10-09 [Flisk_girl]: I live in the middle of nowhere, so hikes are about the only excersize we get around here. I walk to the pond (which is about 2 miles from my house) and back once every other day. When I don't have to work, of course.

2008-10-09 [Azuri]: Walking and eating healthy will only do so much for so long, trust me I plateaued at 255 with that and now have to kick up my exercise at the gym to include more than just walking. Not to mention walking wont exercise all of what you want and unless you power walk isn't really effective at all.

My friend Dustin lost over 100lbs in a year and then started putting it back on in muscle and walking was part of that yes because he walked to the gym but you need more than that. If you can't afford a gym membership get a cardio Dvd(or find it on the internet^_^) or some hand weights, they are very inexpensive and very helpful.

And if walking is what you still wanna do well there are always leg weights :) We just gave our 10lbs leg weights to our neighbor because she power walks on her lunch around her workplace(6 rounds! I wanna be 51 and be able to do that!) and you can remove the little sand bags to start out at different weights its really handy.

@ [CelticMoon] Doo EET! Water aerobics is soooooooooooooooooo much fun I wish I could find a place around here that had it! Right now i'm trying to find places that offer Tai Chi and Yoga though ^_^

2008-10-10 [Fuu]: I would just walk if I was trying to maintain or lose weight. But putting on weight doesn't go that far with just walking.

Also - I can't do any cardio right now ;_; Have to put off the gym membership because of medical crap happening with my stupid body. And the doctor's have no idea wtf is wrong. I don't remember being this scared before. ;_;

2008-10-11 [Azuri]: To be honest a lot of the stuff on the bodybuilding site I gave can be done at home so look into it and I hope whatever is wrong gets better soon*hug* I know how it can be always having to wonder whats wrong when no one can tell you.

2008-10-11 [Fuu]: Yea I can't do anything in regards to my weight right now until the new problem is figured out. And my parents wouldn't let me even if I tried not after two E.R. visits in one week with only one day in between ;_;

God I wish I could drink.
