It would be nice if you also put underneath the image who the Elftown Artist is, or at least a link back to this page somewhere in your bio, but it's not necessary.

Remember, these images were made by Elftowners, for Elftowners, for use in Elftown, so don't put these images elsewhere or you'll lose the privilege of using these images at all. ^_^
*All images must be approved by the Elftown Graphics Group. Please place your donations on the page Elftown Graphics Submissions for approval. Please read these rules before submitting:
* The images MUST have been created by YOU.
* The images must follow the Uploading Art Rules.
* Upload your images to Elftown.
The images must be uploaded to Elftown. Images uploaded elsewhere will be removed.
* Keep the images no bigger than 300x300 pixels. Dividers and words are the exception: they may be up to 500 pixels in length.
* Animated .GIFs are not allowed.
* Transparent backgrounds only.
If your image has a background, make it a transparent background (GIF) to accommodate any changes in the colour of stylesheets.
To upload your image with a transparent background you can use the feature 'Upload a folder of images' that is shown on your house.
This feature allows you to upload one, multiple images or zip-files in their original size to a wikipage.

Dividers and banners usually don't have a background.

EG Misc - A rather large selection of Miscellaneous images that do not belong to a category...yet
EG Seasonal - Images with a holiday theme.
EG Welcome Mats - Welcoming messages for Elfhouses and wiki pages.
EG Words - For images that contain only or mostly words and are not Welcome mats.
EG Zodiac symbols - Zodiac images
EG Special Artist's Sections - Each artist who has donated at least 20 images gets his or her own wiki to put the images on. Look here for artist-specifi
Nonimages - Not really a part of Elftown Graphics but this is where you can find bullets and dividers that doesn't apply to the 10 images limit in your house.
EG Artists - A list of people that have directly contributed their art to Elftown Graphics.

2008-08-04 [Slavork]: donating to the EG just means that ET-ers can use the graphics, but they still belong to the artist who made them. so the artist can also use the images for other things besides the EG, and also lend them out to other people for useage outside ET. but they go over that, we don't :)

then it should show up.

There is just one little problem, the background must be transparent.
There are people using other stylesheets without the elftowngreen background. ;)
ECGTD Transparent GIFs or Generating Transparent GIFS can help you change it. :)

2008-10-29 [Duke Devlin]: Probably because it is technically what a parent would call a 'chat site'. They seem to dislike these. *shrug* That might be the reason, or they may not be doing work they should while on the computer. ;)
2008-10-30 [Mordigen]: A lot of chat or blog communities, or other communities that are similiar, get blocked by a pretty broad classification uncer the preset security levels in most programs. Also, ET is an art community. Art = a lot of artistic nudity. And even though it is artistic, and classy........

That and the fact my brother wanted to access the comp more often (even though he has his own) and he came up with a full-on lie which made my parents block the site. And the library is ever so limited in acces >_<
