The Hangover review

The Hangover is a fairly fast-paced, amusing, and thoroughly entertaining movie. Doug is about to get married, and his best friends, Phil and Stu, want to throw him a bachelor party. Doug just wants something simple, but Phil hates his life as a father/husband/teacher, and Stu is completely pussy-whipped by his obnoxious and instantly hate-able girlfriend. The trio decides to head to Vegas for a night of partying, but a damper is put on the road trip when Allen, Doug’s brother-in-law to be, ends up tagging along with them. However, despite Allen’s presence, the four of them manage to get so completely trashed that when they wake up the next morning, they can’t remember a thing that they had done.

Some clues are left behind, though. For example, Mike Tyson’s Tiger is in their hotel bathroom, Doug is missing, Stu is missing a tooth, and more. Phil, Stu, and Allen use every clue they can get a hold of to retrace their steps and try their damnedest to remember what happened and to find Doug before his wedding is to take place.

The cast includes Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Heather Graham, Justin Bartha, and Jeffery Tambor.

This film is pretty outrageous. The characters are hilarious, especially Allen (Zach Galifianakis), and some really funny, unbelievable things happen that make this movie enjoyable even after the first viewing. I’ve got this movie in my permanent collection and I enjoy it every time I watch it.
