The image that was up on her site, she took down. I have the email ready to send to her, as we speak. I've placed in it, the suggestions you gave me for what to link back to.

2008-01-15 [Artsie_ladie]: Very good! I know you would want the word "tubes", even if you don't have the letters "PSP", b/c this is what people search for. Ok...but don't I need a main link to put on the page of Psp Picture Tubes, that leads to all of the sublinks to my PSP tubes? Or do I place all of my 'sublinks' directly on the page, Psp Picture Tubes? Jitter is using the page for 'actual' images & psp formats.

The reason for the Google-search result is that you mentioned the image on Pegasus.

I thought you already had sent the email about suggesting her to link back to Elftown.

2008-01-15 [Hedda]: I'm not sure how to do the "main" page as I don't know what you'll put up there.

PSP Picture tubes should contain links to all tubes, shouldn't it? If it becomes too big, then you can divide it? I'll leave it to you to decide how to do it, but as a comment I can say that you should have as few link-pages as possible and make everything as simple as possible. And if you can sort the content after type instead of creator, it might be better.

But use your own judgment, because I don't know what you're going to upload or how to divide it well. It should be pretty easy to rearrange it if something becomes really illogical.

Well, I've had a lot on my mind & I've been considering offering to make a new image for her "Follow Me" page, b/c I'm working on a new Pegasus art piece. ...And she also would like my poem, so I'd like to make an image for this, as well.

You definitely wouldn't want too many images on a page, either, b/c dial-up users don't want to wait a long time for the pages to load. I know.

Ok,,.another ??: Is there a difference in the Google search between say, "PSP" & "Psp"? In other words, CAPS vs lower case? :P

2008-01-17 [Hedda]: What they call stealing bandwidth is when someone hot-links their images instead of copying them and placing them on the server that hosts the page the image is included in.

Lower or upper case doesn't matter.

The bugmenot passwords don't work, so it's just someone who have uploaded some lies. I would of course close accounts which have their passwords posted.

About the bandwidth topic... I have a Google blog set up for the main purpose of informing the world about Elftown. I set up a Picasa Gallery to place images from the gallery on the blog, but with Saffron's Elftown Logo image:

...I can't put this image in with my art, so the only thing I can do that I know of, is hot link it to Elftown. What would be a better way to do this without using Elftown's bandwidth?
