2008-02-15 [Hendercrazy]: Awesome job that you've done so much on this comic [Yncke]. I think sometimes folks don't fully understand how much work, time and effort goes into a comic. Your art has really improved over time. Kudos! :D
2008-02-15 [Yncke]: Yes, indeed, comics are so terribly time consuming. And by the time I've reached a nice number of pages, I think the first ones are just plain terrible. (I'm certain you know the feeling. ;) )
2008-04-13 [Iske]: wouw just awesom
2008-04-13 [Yncke]: Thank you. :) Probably my first big city view ever...
2008-04-14 [The Red Baron]: Commendable, most commendable work, O fellow cerebrate.
2008-04-14 [Yncke]: :) Thank you, O baron.
2008-04-14 [The Red Baron]: You're welcome. I'm looking forward to the forthcoming chapters.
2008-04-26 [Hendercrazy]: Great job on tackling and finishing the latest comic! :) The building turned out really nice. ;)
2008-08-17 [Hendercrazy]: Hey... what happened to the comic page with the building? I know it's late and I'm not with it... but am I really not seeing it???
2008-08-17 [Yncke]: Err... I'm seeing it, just before the newly added page. Have you tried shift-reloadin
2008-08-17 [Hendercrazy]: That is soooo weird! That was the only page I couldn't see (including the new ones!). I just refreshed the page... and now it shows. Reeeally odd. O_O
2008-08-17 [Yncke]: Things like that can happen, the internet is not failsafe :)
2008-08-17 [Hendercrazy]: Good point. Even tech has to get up on the wrong side of the processor every now and again. :D
BTW... great to see new stuff! You're balancing your compositions much better now. :)
2008-08-17 [Yncke]: :D Thank you!
2009-04-06 [deeterhi]: I love your latest page. I think the whole layout looks great.
2009-04-16 [Hendercrazy]: I agree with [deeterhi]! Love the slight perspective looking down at the tavern in the first panel. :) Like the shot inside as well in the next... it helps establish your world outside of the main characters. :D
2010-02-21 [deeterhi]: Very nice pages :) I like the sex scene. You leave just enough for the imagination ;) I must say that from time to time it gets a little confusing about your arrangement of panels and which of them I'm supposed to read first like on page 34. At first I wasn't sure whether to read left to right or to start that way and go top to bottom until I got to the larger panel at the end. I mean, eventually I got it. I just think it would be a smoother read if it was a bit more clearer because it's strange to get to the end of a page and the panel isn't at the exact end. Like for me, page 36 doesn't need that arrow to point down because my eye automatically goes down especially with the other half of the page getting heavier with inking. I'm really enjoying the story, though :)
2010-02-21 [Yncke]: Thank you, [deeterhi]! :D
Yes, I see what you mean with page 34. I've tried to remedy it with the text balloon, now. Does it work for you now, or should I connect all of them?
I was in doubt with the arrow, but I'm personally a rather strong left-right reader, so I've put it there in any case. :)
2010-02-22 [deeterhi]: That works :) I think in future pages you just have to be careful about designing the page with the last panel not being last because I finish and then see a panel I already read and shouldn't be looking at now. I should be ready to look at the next page. Then I go back and re-read the page, wondering if I read it wrong.
