2006-01-23 [Morrigon]: heh heh

2006-01-23 [Jewl]: apparently I'm on my way... =p

2006-01-24 [Fizban]: lols, thats was random and funny.

2006-01-24 [Paul Doyle]: This isn't being like a United States civilian-sector government employee, y'know :P

2006-01-24 [Fizban]: like I would know what being a united states civilian-sector governemtn employee really would be like...lols.

2006-01-25 [Child of God]: ???? Um, what does that mean for those of us who aren't American?

2006-01-25 [Sunrose]: Nothing, this wiki is for patrollers who make good reports :)

2006-01-25 [Child of God]: Oh I know that, I was just wondering what the reference to a United States civilian-sector government employee had to do with it is all.

2006-01-26 [Paul Doyle]: They are nototious for doing little or nothing, for sweet salaries and benefits ;-)

2006-01-26 [Child of God]: ahh, so no different than any other politician then! ^-^

2006-01-26 [Fizban]: lols, mom, state worker okay, and yeah there are the stupid jokes, and actually yeah she got stuck in a job where they didnt have work past the morning,...which my mom, hard friggen worker, used to having to work 2 jobs or so to make ends meet, she knows how to deal with work. She was trying to do everyone elses work it was horrible...but that was only one job, a sweet salary for an easy arsen job yeah,...but not in general lols. My mom transferred as fast as possible. She may be bitchy, but she certianly works hard to provide for her family. So thats really not that true.

2006-01-26 [Child of God]: perhaps it's only true for Canadian politics then.

2006-01-26 [dragonflye]: No, it is true for most american government employees. Take our president for example. He vacations for 2 or 3 weeks, works a week, then he's back on vacation for another month.

2006-01-26 [Fizban]: Yeah, but thats just because bush sucks ass, not all of our presidents have been that retarded...

2006-01-26 [dragonflye]: You've gotta watch an advertisement first though.

2006-01-26 [Sunrose]: Let's not start a discussion about governments (we have the Debate forum for that) and keep the wiki for what it was meant; Patrolling business ;)

2006-03-06 [Daddy_dano]: how many good reports do you have to make to become a patroller?

2006-03-06 [Paul Doyle]: Wouldn't you like to know! ;-) But seriously, it's the quality of your reports that ultimately make the difference, yet if you are consistent with them (matching quantity with quality) you may yet be considered. Have patience, though . . . it took me two years to be recognized. :3

2006-03-06 [Daddy_dano]: ok thank youu very much

2006-03-06 [Paul Doyle]: Any time :) if you need any help, tips and such, please feel free to come back here :)

2006-03-06 [Daddy_dano]: ok i will

2006-03-06 [Lothuriel]: I am having trouble finding offenses to report...which is a good thing, right?

2006-03-06 [Ultiem]: need help? i got many ASCIIs 71 ASCII heartagrams to be exact

2006-03-06 [Lothuriel]: Don't think I need help thank you. Good for you.

2006-03-06 [Ultiem]: im offering if you want not real big on mass spammings anymore.. just letting you know there still there

2006-03-06 [Lothuriel]: Oh, I understand and I appreciate the offer. I was merely pointing out that most of the riff-raff seems to have died out.

2006-03-06 [Ultiem]: which is a good sign

2006-03-06 [Lothuriel]: Yes, yes!! Very good indeed!

2006-03-06 [shotokan_gal]: Just as a reminder guys, when you make an ASCII report (or any report really) can you mark it as such rather than leaving it as an 'unknown type' report. And of course that the full ASCII doesn't need to be copied and pasted into the report (though the number can be useful if you want to put it).

2006-03-06 [Ultiem]: i dont bother putting the ASCII but i will mark it as ASCII thanks

2006-03-15 [Dark Angel]: I have a question about drugs. Well, I know we have no rules about showing drugs (like we have for porn) at your pages, just wanted to know if it is okay like this member does [killarydaclown]?

2006-03-15 [Sunrose]: He made them himself and there is no rule against images of drugs.. :)

2006-03-16 [searching for the light]: *sighs* I'd like to be recognized for my Elftown efforts, but the thing is...I haven't done much lately aside from a few reports against member violations...What else can I do for Elftown? ^_^ I'd really like to be more involved; I've been here since 2003, but don't feel very accomplished. v__v I want to make the community a better place in any way possible! *is determined* Does anyone have any tips or advice on what I can do or apply for?

2006-03-16 [Paul Doyle]: Check out Make Elftown Nicer, for one. :)

2006-03-16 [Charybdis]: And there's a list of places you can contribute to... :)

2006-03-16 [Sunrose]: Aaaand there's The Badge Reward System =P

2006-03-16 [Paul Doyle]: And there you have it :B

2006-03-18 [Ultiem]: congrats to [Firenze] and [Katie Staines] for becoming one of the order of ravens! great job

2006-03-18 [Sunrose]: And the other 5 patrollers as well.. :)

2006-03-18 [Ultiem]: 5? hmm? indeed congrats to all the new patrollers

2006-03-18 [Stratakus]: We're Ravens? I always thought we were Crows. I know a bunch of Crows is a Murder, but what is a Flock of Ravens?

2006-03-18 [Sunrose]: I didn't know and asked True, he said it was a let's blame True :P

2006-03-19 [Kaimee]: A flock of ravens is the Heralders damnit! :P We can be the sneaky journalist ravens, you can be the spying reporter crows >.>

2006-03-19 [Ultiem]: nononnnnonono sneaky ever watchful crows that write stuff down...and them ever watchful ravens who prey on violators

2006-03-19 [Kaimee]: Nope, Heralders are ravens, whatever happens :P End of discussion!

2006-03-19 [iippo]: Maybe patrollers can pretend to be magpies. :D Because magpies are cool and steal shiny things... >_>

2006-03-19 [Sunrose]: [May-lea] would definately know the answer as she referenes the animals she makes on badges :P But as far as I know the raven was accidentally used on both badges. // On another note: please submit a report-type when you make a report. Thanks! :)

2006-03-19 [Paul Doyle]: Or some of us could pretend to be "good" aligned dragons, benevolent, but fierce and bold to the point of being carried away by "righteousness" ^_~

2006-03-19 [Ultiem]: lol true then again [Katie Staines] maybe happy now that she has a blackbird in her slot lol

2006-03-21 [Calico Tiger]: Patrollers are ravens. Heralders were ferrets, but then got themselves a raven badge as well. So they're both ravens :) But they look different, so all is well :P

2006-03-21 [Shainn]: Ah I celebrate my Patroller duty tonight :) It's great to be part of such nice people who try to make such a nice place nicer :) Raven! Yes... Warm hugs, everybody.. Sweet water and light laughter...

2006-03-22 [Fizban]: I thought it was established that patrollers were crows or black birds...not the corvid raven...which is it?

2006-03-22 [Jay Ladlehaus]: It's actually a turtle dove that's flown through the smokestack of a coal plant.

2006-03-22 [Fizban]: Hah!! lols...I like that idea, lets go with that :)

2006-03-22 [iippo]: Who cares what bird it is, as long as you can FLYYYYYYY!!!! :P

2006-03-22 [Paul Doyle]: Of course, dragons can fly, too ;-)

2006-03-22 [Fizban]: Hey,...I wonder, what badge if any there will ever be, that someone puts a dragon on it...hmmmms.

2006-03-22 [Sunrose]: Mostly it's the goal to use real animals though, only a few exceptions :P

2006-03-22 [iippo]: And we can educate people to like badly-considered, 'evil'-animals. Wolf is council although they were thought to be horrible human-mutilating monsters. Weasel is heralder, although they've been seen as sneaky evil destroyers... Next goal: cockroach!

2006-03-22 [Paul Doyle]: Then there's the quandary posed by the lovable, fluffy, gentle bunny rabbit. And yet, as everyone who really belongs on Elftown should know, bunnies can be evil. Think of Killer Rabbit, who met his untimely demise, thanks to the Holy Hand Grenade.

2006-03-22 [iippo]: Knight: "Where is it?" Tim: "There!" King Arthur: "What, behind the rabbit?" Tim: "... it is the rabbit!" XD

2006-03-26 [Sunrose]: It has become a whole lot easier for Guards to remove a lot of languages from the houses of members at once, which they obviously don't speak or write. So if you find such a house, you can report them. Don't bother looking for houses that have all languages selected, I already took care of those :P

2006-03-30 [werethylacine]: Who is the (rapper?) in [Mitch_66]'s drawing slot? Whoever knows, go ahead and make the report- I just can't remember who that is.

2006-03-30 [Paul Doyle]: That's 50-cent. Go ahead and report it :)

2006-03-30 [werethylacine]: Thank you, Paul.

2006-03-30 [Paul Doyle]: You're welcome. Do a Google search for the exact match :)

2006-03-30 [Melindo]: how do i become a patroller ive been here for sooo long and no job???

2006-03-30 [Paul Doyle]: Hi [Melindo], I'm enjoying viewing your artwork :) As stated in previous comments, just be persistent with those reports. Be flexible and helpful, let your reports do the talking, and hopefully you'll wind up here :) Be sure to know Uploading Art Rules, make damn good use of the Google search engine, don't be afraid to ask for assistance (that happens frequently on the private forum) and just do the best you can to adhere to the Elftown rules. And now, let's hear what our bosses, the Town Guards have to say, as they are not shy about giving their two-bits' worth :)

2006-03-30 [Fizban]: How many reports have you made?

2006-03-30 [Paul Doyle]: At least 600. I think [Hedda] can access the exact figures in a heartbeat.

2006-03-30 [Sunrose]: You had 694 half March. But [Fizban], the amount doesn't matter much if they all only become a patroller if the reports you make are also good quality :)

2006-03-30 [Melindo]: hey paul not seen you in ages hope your well thankyou for you advice and the kind comment still doing the cool dragons i see good to see you made it to patroller master good one, reading how to make report and rules now thanks again for your support

2006-03-30 [Paul Doyle]: Thanks :) Good to see you again :) I'm am more of a writer than an artist, but yes, those dragons keep me going

2006-04-19 [teptep]: heh love that eagles expression, seems he isn't to happy

2006-04-19 [iippo]: It seems to me that he's locking on target xD Aaaand... fire!

2006-04-19 [Teufelsweib]: something between angry and extremely irritated :P

2006-04-29 [Mr_McEwan]: LOL

2006-05-22 [theedoekje]: hello everyone. i would like to become a patroller or guard. what do i need to do for that?

2006-05-22 [peura]: I believe that you need to aquire some reading skills, and read what it says on this page. If you still need to ask that question after that, you probably aren't qualified for the task :-)

2006-05-22 [Lothuriel]: Yes, being able to read is a sure plus....

2006-05-28 [Doormat]: For finding images Google can usually do it, but using can usually find you what you can't find with Google...random tip o.o

2006-05-29 [Fizban]: it as good as google...or it's results vary to pick up the things Google doesnt, so they are best used in a pair?

2006-05-31 [Stratakus]: I find it most amusing when I am looking for proof that an image was just random from google, and when I type in the word, it is the first image selection. Not only did they take a random image, they were lazy about it.

2006-05-31 [Fizban]: Hahaha...I have gotten someone (when I have the "I support the town guards" banner on my house) to tell me whether or not this one pic she had up was stolen...then she came back and started cursing me out, when 2 minutes later it mysteriously dissappeared...:P

2006-06-19 [blonde_bomb]: i want a special badge cani have one plz i never broke the rules

2006-06-19 [Lothuriel]: Please read the wiki before you ask, you will save yourself a lot of trouble later.

2006-06-19 [shotokan_gal]: As you can read above, patrollers are chosen from those members who continually make a lot of good reports. Not just those who follow the rules (which you should do anyway).

2006-06-20 [Ultiem]: good way to get chosen is to report those breaking UAR. study UAR like the bible

2006-06-20 [Fizban]: UAR and dark and dastardly ASCll...

2006-06-23 [Ultiem]: so everyone knows im gonna start posting most sighted UAR on here

2006-06-24 [Lothuriel]: That is a good idea.

2006-06-24 [Ultiem]: for example beginning of last year it was animateds

2006-06-24 [Teufelsweib]: I mostly see ASCII around here though, and of course newbies that upload celebrity pictures or art that isn't theirs.

2006-06-24 [Paul Doyle]: Newbies who are uncomfortable with the removal of such things as ASCII, etc, should be politely referred to Better for them, better for Elfpack, and better for Elftown.

2006-06-24 [Ultiem]: some people native to EP copy their descriptions directly to here...which is joy because it gets to be cleaned

2006-07-12 [NightTheOwl]: Excuse how can I become a patroller?

2006-07-12 [Fizban]: Leer esta pagina por ahora por favor...-_-

2006-07-12 [Ultiem]: basically report mass UAR violations

2006-07-13 [Teufelsweib]: reports :)

2006-07-13 [Shainn]: need help: is a drawing made just by modifying a well known drawing with photoshop (applied his/her head into it) allowed? (confused between rules G.4 and S.5) (and should I use the secret forum for these kind of questions or is it fine here?) thanks already.

2006-07-14 [Kileaiya]: No, that is not allowed. Modification of anything not belonging to them is against the rules.

2006-07-14 [Shainn]: Thanks Kileaiya.

2006-07-14 [Ultiem]: kinda like when that one guy modified an art and posted it on his house...that one was fried real good ^_^

2006-07-18 [Dark Side of the Moon]: Rather than randomly choosing a patroller from the list, I thought I'd just place my question here: I thought that I had read somewhere that in-lining images into your house picture slot or artwork slot so you could have three or more pictures up there was against the rules. I can't find where I read that. If this is true that you aren't supposed to in-line images, could one of you kindly give me the link to where it is posted? I didn't see it in Uploading Art Rules. Thanks!

2006-07-18 [iippo]: It's not encouraged to do that, but it's not starkly against the rules, and thus not reportable.

2006-07-18 [Dark Side of the Moon]: I wasn't sure. Thank you!

2006-07-24 [Dark Side of the Moon]: Another question, please: I've found a member's house that is crammed with stuff from I can't into it because I'm not a member. Can I report someone for having those based just on the URL to the image or would I have to register and become a member with the site, locate the pic, and determine whether or not the member actually made and owns the image?

2006-07-24 [Teufelsweib]: you can always search on google if you can find the picture and it's owner. or look if you see a possible watermark on the picture on which you can read who really made it. what kind of pictures are you talking about actually? of course it can be her own pictures...

2006-07-24 [iippo]: Yeah, just being in Photobucket isn't enough of a reason to report because anyone can host images there.

2006-07-24 [Dark Side of the Moon]: Yes, I understand that if they made it and it's posted on PhotoBucket then they can have them in their house. I just don't know if they are just random images on PhotoBucket's site and this member is using them. The images are song lyrics with coloured backgrounds. I didn't notice a watermark or anything like that. These images are sort of a grey area to me because I can't prove them to be made by the ET member, so I usually don't report them.

2006-07-24 [Teufelsweib]: do they give proper credit to the artist who wrote the lyrics?

2006-07-24 [Dark Side of the Moon]: Yes, credit is given to the artist.

2006-08-27 [xoxoAngelaxoxo]: Hey I've got a profile on here and my ex- boyfriend went on there and changed my password can you help me?

2006-08-27 [Stratakus]: Try the Guards.

2006-08-28 [Vampire Akis]: Question: I have a bad history on Elftown. But I want to be a patroller sometime in the future. Could this EVER happen?

2006-08-28 [Ultiem]: yes

2006-08-28 [Vampire Akis]: And what do I have to do? Except from reporting people.

2006-08-28 [Ultiem]: basically that in large numbers

2006-08-28 [Vampire Akis]: you mean?

2006-08-28 [Firenze]: He means report in large numbers :P

2006-08-28 [Ultiem]: [AshAsphyxiation] posts her count you can get a rough estimate to get it quickly

2006-08-28 [Vampire Akis]: so i'll be able to be a pat in 2 months?

2006-08-28 [Ultiem]: if you spam guards with reports

much that they hate to see you on

2006-08-28 [EmeraldGrizzly]: 40 good reports then you get the title, right?

2006-08-28 [Ultiem]: basically yes

2006-08-28 [EmeraldGrizzly]: Thanks.

2006-08-28 [Teufelsweib]: though just making 40 reports and then never letting anything be heard of yourself isn't enough. we have to be sure that you want to be a patroller, and don't just want the badge.

2006-08-28 [EmeraldGrizzly]: I understand, i'm on my way there. If I get the badge i'm gonna keep patrolling. I'm not doing it jus' for the badge, I hate it when people break the rules, I did for awhile when I first came here years ago, and understand that it shouldn't be done. I want to be a Patroller.

2006-08-28 [Teufelsweib]: Proving yourself is not done with words, but with deeds. ;) good luck, then!

2006-08-28 [EmeraldGrizzly]: As I know ,thanks, that's why I report those the break the rules ;)

2006-08-28 [Dark Side of the Moon]: I'm sorry, I don't wish to be a pain, but is a count kept of how many reports you make? I see in my notes that I've made 49 good reports where the guards had to take some type of action, including banning two members. When and how is it determined that someone is eligible to be a patroller? I've been trying for months and am quite active at this site on official competitions, graphics submissions, etc. Is this something that you need to submit an application for the crew?

2006-08-28 [Stratakus]: Yeesh. I didn't get noticed until I went from house 1 until house 40000 something, reporting anything I saw.

2006-08-28 [Paul Doyle]: It's not a damn trophy count, mind you. It's how it's done, how consistently it's done, and how effectively it's done. There will be a few accidental bad reports along the way, but as long as you've got a long history of good, reliable reports (and obviously aren't in it just to get an ET badge) you may well be noticed . . . well after the fact, sometimes, but apply yourself regularly, and be patient :)

2006-08-28 [Teufelsweib]: you should be doing the reports for a better Elftown, and not for your own badgeslot. By complaining here about that you 'don't get noticed' (which isn't true, if you get a lot of reports from certain people you ARE noticed) it won't be that improving to your status, no?

2006-08-28 [shotokan_gal]: To answer Ir-Iddyn - Hedda can see the number of reports from each member, although they aren't looked at all the time. So it may be a while after someone's been reporting that they might recieve a patrollers badge. If they deserve it of course ;)

2006-08-28 [Dark Side of the Moon]: Thank you for the answers! I was mostly curious how it all worked. I wasn't saying that I didn't think I wasn't getting noticed. Obviously I am because rule breaking images are being deleted from people's houses and a couple have gotten banned. And no, I'm not doing it just to try to get a badge. If I have to follow the rules, then so should others. Boundaries and rules are set for good reason. Again, thanks for answering my questions!

2006-08-28 [Ultiem]: [Sunrose] and other seasoned guards hate it when patrollers compete against each other thats why they frown on the use of counting reports...

me and [Ihsahn] competed and made many reports not realising it pissed of sunrose

so if you do report do it for the good of ET not for yourself

2006-08-28 [Fizban]: Thats quite funny...I never expected that. I don't think anyone really does that. Only if they had an easy and proficient method of counting reports like the high ups such as Sunrose and hedda. I personally have too many house comments, and such to want to even try to count my own number of guard reports XD.

2006-08-28 [EmeraldGrizzly]: Well, badge or no, i'm gonna keep going. Jus' wanting to make Elftown a cleaner place... gonna make it all better :)

2006-08-28 [Ultiem]: thats the way to go just to scrub ET of stupid

2006-08-28 [EmeraldGrizzly]: Hear, hear!

2006-08-29 [Shainn]: Yep :) For example I was totally surprised when I've been made a patroller for I only asked once about how to become ne when I was already reporting, and then forgot about it :) and months later.. heheh that way it had been quite fun :D

2006-08-29 [iippo]: How do you even count your reports? O_O is there a number somewhere, or do you just line-count from your notes page in Word?

2006-08-29 [Teufelsweib]: we don't have a number counter anywhere, but [Hedda] can see how many reports people have written.

2006-08-29 [Dark Side of the Moon]: I counted my good reports yesterday by checking what I'd written against the house of the member I reported. It took a little time to do it, but that's how I came up the number. I didn't count my bad reports or reports that didn't result in images being removed or whatever. But I've the same attitude about patrolling as [EmeraldGrizzly]. I'm not necessarily trying to get the recognition. I'm getting enough recognition by getting results on my reports. I'm just trying to be a good citizen.

2006-08-29 [Vampire Akis]: How do we know if a pic is something random from the internet?

2006-08-29 [Teufelsweib]: if you recognize the pic, or the link is from a random internet site. search for example on google if you can find the picture on some other site.

2006-08-29 [Vampire Akis]: oh kk!

2006-08-29 [Ultiem]: random images are anything that has nothing to do with the member...for example a free to use image of...say pikachu

see on my house there is a screenshot...normally it wouldve been removed but i made the screenshot from my map

2006-08-29 [EmeraldGrizzly]: Also, if you want to get a better handle on reporting for UAR breaking, go here and test yourself out - UAR Test

2006-08-29 [Ultiem]: or if you want to know how to find them in possibly large numbers talk to me

2006-08-29 [Vampire Akis]: ok I took that test. can I report myself?

2006-08-29 [ally]: ... why would you do that?

2006-08-29 [Vampire Akis]: to make more reports!

2006-08-29 [Ultiem]: no you cant...and thats pointless

2006-08-29 [Vampire Akis]: Hmmmm... ok. So how did you say we find more reports to make?

2006-08-29 [Ultiem]: finding one UAR violation that you seen before...then copy the URL into the description field in the search screen...then hopefully it finds all copies of that violation
affectionately called "Ultiem Spamming"

2006-08-29 [Vampire Akis]: oh thanks! ^^ *hugs* you're AWESOME! and smart! and clever!

2006-08-29 [iippo]: You visit other members' houses and if you see something that violates the rules (stolen art, random images, ASCII, animated GIFs not made by the member, celebrity pictures), you report. And try to make sure it's a violation (find the image on Google or on another site and give the link with your report) because 'maybe' isn't enough.

2006-08-29 [Vampire Akis]: that means that if I'm not sure, the report will be rejected? Even if I'm right?

2006-08-29 [Ultiem]: if you arnt sure ask someone who is

2006-08-29 [Vampire Akis]: ok

2006-08-29 [iippo]: If you see a drawing you suspect the member didn't draw, but the member says they did and no one can prove that they didn't, it can't be taken down. Innocent until proven guilty y'know.

2006-08-29 [Vampire Akis]: ok. thanks again.

2006-08-29 [Teufelsweib]: about the so called "Ultiem Spamming", you can also just put a link of a common site in that search field, or a piece of ASCII.

2006-08-29 [Ultiem]: yes yes i did that before as well was once a good one to do
here is a tip...look for elfpack graphics on here...its unlikely but you have to check ETG in case the graphics are loaded here too

2006-08-29 [Dark Side of the Moon]: So Elfpack graphics aren't allowed? I've seen tons of them here.

2006-08-29 [Ultiem]: no graphics that arnt loaded to ET graphics that are from Elfpack graphics

they are copyrighted to the site and its artist

2006-08-29 [Zab]: But graphics from Elfpack is allowed, isn't it? (images uploaded to elfpack, not from Elfpack Graphics) As long as they follow the UAR on ET..?

2006-08-29 [Ultiem]: yes elfpack had a run for its money when i was made aware of this likewise on other heddate sites

2006-08-30 [Calico Tiger]: As long as you have permission from the artist or are the artist, yes. Graphics that are uploaded from Elfpack are alright (assuming they still follow the Uploading Art Rules). Now, realizing what Elfpack is, make damned sure that the person you got permission from is the real artist and not a thief otherwise you'll pay for it here if you display it here ;)

2006-09-19 [G:/enesis~]: Is there anyway you could get [Genesis~] profile unbanned, we really cant firgure out why he got banned. He really did live In russia for a period of time, and was planning on moving back there or Berlin. besides that i don't know what alse could be fake on his profile, because that is all true.

2006-09-19 [Stratakus]: Going to have to take that to the Guards, one of them could tell you what happened.

2006-09-19 [Paul Doyle]: Also, whether or not the [Genesis~] account is re-allowed, it certainly helps to be well aware of the Uploading Art Rules Elfpack is somewhat more lenient that Elftown, in that regard :-)

2006-09-19 [iippo]: Paul's right, it'd help if the bio wasn't breaking the art-rules (the rotating skull). Also some people (like maybe [Hedda], the owner of this site), might consider hacking somewhat assholish behaviour, as well as "being spawned to this site to create chaos"... It's an attitude thing, but mainly, remember that Elftown is not a democracy. Even if everyone here told Hedda that Genesis should be unbanned, it's solely up to Hedda. So really, talk it out with him.

2006-09-19 [G:/enesis~]: ok, but he didn't even get a warning, not to mention, a lot of people on here have GIFI pictures that they didn't make, and there was never a problem.. Im not trying to argue, i just don't see how he was given a fair chance, i mean, [Hedda] didn't even talk to him, no warning no nothing.. [Genesis~] would have easily removed the rotating skull if that was what [Hedda] wanted.. not to mention, you guys probably didnt notice this, but we hackers here at elftown respect the guards, when people complain about getting warned, or a image removed, we tell them to shut the hell up and deal with it.

Genesis~: yeah seriously i believe i asked dark law studio if there was a problem with my house when she came and visited it just to make sure everything was alright

2006-09-19 [Stratakus]: Take it up with the Guards, Banning and Un-Banning has Nothing to do with Patrollers so you're making about as much progress as complaining to an Art Donor.

2006-09-19 [ally]: Or even better take it up with [Hedda]. [Genesis~] wasn't banned for breaking the UAR nor for being a hacker. There's nothing the other guards can do for you.

2006-09-19 [G:/enesis~]: ok, thanks

2006-09-19 [Lothuriel]: Considering you decided to threaten [Hedda], I would assume it will do you no good to beg for the other account to be reinstated. But, then I don't speak for the higher ups.

2006-09-19 [G:/enesis~]: Well we were all a little pissed off to see him justcome and randomly bann one of us. Its not like him to do that..

2006-09-19 [sequeena_rae]: If [Hedda] has banned someone, we can only assume it's because the member did something. Take this up with him, we can't do anything about it.

2006-09-19 [Lothuriel]: This is his wesite and he can do what ever the hell he wishes. I suggest you do what the ohters said and take it up with him personally...since he is the one you seem to have a problem with.

2006-09-19 [G:/enesis~]: I would, but he hasnt been on for 25

2006-09-19 [Zab]: Then send him a message and wait for him to answer it and don't talk more of the matter here untill he has done that.

2006-09-19 [Shainn]: Elftown: the most anarchic *and* sweetest monarchy ever existed :) I do not think [Hedda] would do any such thing without an important cause to it.

2006-09-19 [sequeena_rae]: And remember, Elftown isn't MSN. Never expect an immediate answer. He's also very busy, he'll answer your message soon enough.

2007-02-24 [Chaotic Serenity]: Can I report someone for having an obvious cyber name([I like it rough 69]) and for having a poll that dropped my IQ 20 points(Am I Hot?, and no I'm not making this up, sadly.)She also whines in her mood for people to take this poll. >_<

2007-02-24 [Chaotic Serenity]: (Before anyone gets annoyed with me, this was just to vent and get a giggle from someone, so don't hurt me please! ^_~)

2007-02-24 [Teufelsweib]: you can report someone for an offensive user name, which he doesn't have. cybering isn't against the rules either on elftown, unless it's in your description or in a wiki without a clear notice that it has a mature content.
that poll is quite common actually, and the poll matter is the same as the name: it's not offensive, so not against the rules. the stupidity of the poll is none of your or our buisiness.

2007-02-24 [Lothuriel]: I don't think wikis with such content can be reported.

2007-02-25 [Stratakus]: Also, if houses like that could get reported, the guards would be getting 100xinfinity reports a day.

2007-02-25 [Teufelsweib]: well, the wikis won't get reported as long as it's clear that they contain mature stuffs. or things you might get offended by..

2007-02-25 [Paul Doyle]: Perhaps they ought to be enticed to discover Elfpack or Fake, if they have not already done so. In any event, just ignore 'em, and in due time they'll move along to Myspace or wherever.

2007-05-11 [NOOOPE]: Ok, so I was told if I saw something suspicious but really didn't have enough to go on to make a report, mentioning the suspicious act here.

So, there this [Living In Stereo] kid, with this lovely picture up but they don't seem to be an artist. No art wikis, galleries, further mentions of being an artist. So, if they aren't... how is it they made that picture? Just seems a bit iffy to me. So hopefully someone might recognize the picture, or I dnno. Again, it's all a bit iffy.

2007-05-11 [Calico Tiger]: Try using google and its image search engine :D That's what I use when trying to locate an image. In this case, I did a search for "lost angel" and found the original:

2007-05-11 [Stratakus]: The best (But saddest thing) is most times the image you're looking for is on the first page of google images

2007-05-11 [Sunrose]: If you manage to find the right keywords..
