2011-05-09 [Lord Josmar]: Ok, I think I already know the answer to this question, but I didn't see a section about photomanipulations in the Uploading Art Rules so I thought I would ask here. A user I have come across does "photo editing" where she takes photos and "edits" them by adding stuff to them or changing them in a different way. Would this be a violation or is it protected?

2011-05-09 [iippo]: From the Uploading Art Rules: "- Taking an image and editing it does not make it your own. This includes, but is not limited to, photomanipulations."

But photomanipulation is allowed if you are using your own images or stock images that are free to use for the purposes of photomanipulation (such as is found for example in Reference Pictures or in DeviantArt and such artists' stock image galleries).

2011-05-10 [kians mummy]: thats what the unkown type is for, as they are just violation rules, eg if a wiki witch is not passworded witch has pornograhic images that are not artistic, it will be against the elftown rules, passworded is ok for that

2011-06-23 [kians mummy]: The Patrol Squad are people who have read, understood, and accepted the Uploading Art Rules. They have proven themselves helping out the Town Guards by making many useful reports. The are appointed by the Guards when they feel a user is suited for this title.
