If you are interested in the world Madrumah and it's appeal or you even already think about joining the roleplaying in it - assumed that you also read the Madrumah Rules For Players as well and agree with the rules there - the first step towards a ( potential ) application for a rp character for Madrumah begins very simply with the contact with me, [Dr.Mandarian].

You do not have to have a sure imagination of your character to this point of time, yet!
( Mainly you even do not have to already decide if to really participate. )
You only have to be generally interested in this wiki.
And then adress to me to clarify any further questions. Or to have some talk about your own ideas for parttaking in the Madrumah roleplaying world.
After this, as soon as we are in contact - and you decide to create an own character, then - we will togetherly go on the further designing of the character you want to play.
And first of all everyone joining Madrumah rp is basically free to choose what ever race, profession or character ( incl. allignment and special features ) he wants, and allowed to suggest selections of any equipment he wishes to act with in his own imagination.
The next step would then be to develop one first rough designing draft of the individual character.
The player should now firstly decide, which race and profession he wants to choose for the participation in an adventure.
Therefore he has to downlay the character's race, profession and name.
This will happen in discussion and advicement with me, if desired.
Depending on what race he chooses, I will give detailed informations about the chosen races advantages and disadvantages.
And depending on what profession he chooses I will inform him about all his options for a race that would give special opportunities, vice versa.
If the player first chooses a race or first a profession is up to the decision and desire of the player.
Any chosen race and any chosen profession still has to be checked by me, the master, if it includes special features and configurations But all suggested professions in Madrumah Professions and Madrumah Races being appropriate for PC are mainly If the player ( and I ) have designed his player character by race and profession, the player and I come together then and the player rolls out the base ranks for his STATS ( strength and agility for combat, and intuition, empathy or charisma for magic ) In order to determine these very important stats for your character, expressing strength, agility and magical abilities as intuition, empathy and charisma, the player throws one dice20 for every rank and then adds the respective appropriate RACE STAT BONUS to each stat rank rightafter, using the Madrumah race stat table! The total result of each dice throw, plus the race bonus, represents the starting base rank for any player character's combat and magic casting abilities then. The next step of character design for Madrumah is then to determine his further character features and conceptions. - Consisting of: - race, tribe and origin - short description of his or her outlooks - bio and backgrounds - weapons to be chosen for use, and choice of shield or armour, if desired - and, lastly: equipment, incl. choice of special item, weapon, herbs or poisons etc. After determination of these basic points, the player has lastly only to generate a CHARACTER SHEET WIKI for his or her own character, yet. Designed like this: 1) username 4) profession 6) Class / family / stand or clan 7) origin 8) short description and outlooks ( or picture as option ) 9) characteristic 10) bio or backgrounds PRIMARY SKILL RANKS: - combat ranks - - magic ranks - EQUIPMENT LIST: - List of weapons, in use & spells and spell lists - List of items, magical objects, tools, herbs or poisons, food rations, magical power sources, drugs and everything the adventurer wants to carry with him, at his body, in his bag pack ( or carried by his riding animal in cases ) - List of money and / or jewellry * Special: ( A pacted beast that accompanies a beastmaster, a familiar animal, a befriended creature or critter, a magical object or living being related to a special ability, feature or natural gift of extra-ordinary nature etc. ) This character sheet wiki of yours will then be linked to the adventure wiki page itself and the character immediately added by me into the CHARACTER POOL of Madrumah, in the main page. While it will from then on also be a scope to freely design and develop it after your own desires - as long as it keeps including the basical character specifications explained above. You alone are in the responsibility for holding it up to date and on the newest stand from then on. Still it also represents your character to any of the other players of the group. Herein they will look and read about you, to gain an imagination of your character's nature. * ( Any 'secret' ability, part of equipment or other personal 'ace hidden up your sleeve' will not appear here, for this reason.
