2009-05-27 [dancingsheep]: These are adorable.
2009-05-27 [Cillamoon]: Thank you!! ^_^ I had so much fun doing them!!!
2009-05-27 [Skydancer]: Oh oh... some one has been in the craft supplies. :D Very cute, and shiny!
2009-05-27 [Cillamoon]: Lol, yes I broke into the special box! :P More to come, Marion there will be some special ones with glitter themed just for your eyes......hope
2009-05-27 [Skydancer]: Sounds brilliant, not to be punny about it. :D
2009-05-27 [Cillamoon]: LOL well I'm just hoping that the colors show up right. Reason being is that I showed my mom these on myspace last night (btw Marion, I got your request on myspace ^_^!!!) and she thought the colors were all gold, funny thing is only the arms and hands are gold, they eyes are pink! I've got silver, gold, blue and pink and am hoping that they even show the difference....
2009-05-27 [Hedda]: Scary!
2009-05-27 [Cillamoon]: LOL I was wondering when you would comment. :P
2009-05-27 [Hedda]: Yea, I had to work for a couple of hours with that deep analyzing comment with all its helpful tips...
2009-05-27 [Skydancer]: indirect light to get the color, when there is a lot of flash the refection over washes the color, your going to need natural light or some of those bulbs that are full spectrum to get the color to come out I think.
2009-05-27 [Cillamoon]: Hedda, you crack me up every time! Deep analyzing comment...ppff
Marion, okay, duly noted. So natural lighting, can do. I'm gonna do some more this evening. Wheeee!!!!
2009-05-29 [jacen81]: So funny story... One of my friends, he is a 27 year old guy. Very masculine, but also very cave-mannish kind of person.
Anyways, so his parents adopted an 11 yr old girl. So long story short, she had been working with glitter and he was over at his parents house and he took a shower.
He used the towel to dry off and then had left that day and got to work not realizing that he was covered in glitter.
His towel that he used had also been used by his sister in her "glitter project".
I tell you, few things in my life have been as funny as seeing a grown man covered in glitter. It was awesome.
It was definitely not as aesthetically appealing as this though.
2009-05-29 [jacen81]: by the way, the lower pictures work better with the yellowish light giving more of a sepia town, it brings out the gold more and contrasts less.
2009-05-29 [Cillamoon]: Your story is hilarious! I did use a really big towl as a drop cloth during most of these pictures, as we have (as you can see) a hard wood floor and I was deathly afraid of getting glitter anywhere to make a mess other than on my body (lol). So that was useful. I also used warm water to wash the glitter off of my arms, neck and chest, which was great with no further mess (except in the sink but that was easily dealt with). And I used a warm wet washcloth to get the glitter off of my face, which came off a lot easier than I had expected. However now I have glitter in my hair, which was what I was most worried about and thought I had avoided it my having my hair up....but it didn't work. Now I have glitter in my hairline and everyone at work is giving me this crazy look (which I find quite funny).
2009-06-01 [dimond_babe]: the picture are great. i really love them
2009-06-02 [Cillamoon]: Thank you! Hopefully they make everyone laugh at some point or another, lol. :P
2009-06-02 [jacen81]: Cilla, you have both the ability to simultaneously amuse and inspire. You are a rare gift to a sometimes quite mundane world.
2009-06-02 [dimond_babe]: lol they look amazing
2009-06-02 [Cillamoon]: Awww you are both so sweet!!! One of my goals in life is to inspire, to be a muse, to give others creativity and the courage to express their artistic side and I hope that with all my images, actually, that I can accomplish that. Therefore my reason for SO MANY PICTURES! X_X lol Not to mention I like to make ppl laugh. :P
2009-06-02 [dimond_babe]: i bet you can very wellly be a muse. you would be a great muse.
