2005-10-18 [Ee]: this is the newest wiki of elftown :)
2009-04-20 [Hiuko]: Hello, I'm a software engineer.
2009-09-20 [twitchboy]: hello im a nanotech engineer undergrad
2009-09-21 [Hiuko]: nanotech engineer, I didn't know that's what you were going to study.
2009-09-21 [twitchboy]: sure is lol maybe metal minipulating nanobots will be my creation lol
2009-09-22 [Hiuko]: Let me guess, they'd be called Twitch-bots.
2009-09-22 [twitchboy]: exactly lol, maybe a "Day the earth stood still" type nanobot
2009-09-23 [Hiuko]: Now wait, you only set those off if your world domination scheme starts to fall apart... or James Bond breaks into your secret base.
2009-09-23 [twitchboy]: complete control through a single receptor by the lead bug duh
2009-09-23 [Hiuko]: What about short cicuiting or coup to overthrow that lead bug?
2009-09-23 [twitchboy]: im def not making them free thinking
2009-09-23 [Hiuko]: What about robotic sentients when their AI becomes so great that they can make more robots and use that knowledge to overthrown humanity. Plus if you don't plan on giving them AI then what's the use of control through one bug while you can still just as easily or even more easily control them all at the same time for tactical maneuvers? Sorry, I'm rambling while playing devil's advocate again.
2009-09-23 [twitchboy]: because of this: Each is a transmitter and a reciever with a radius of one foot, therefore they are always in distance of each other, only one gives out the original signal therefore you cannot tell wich it is among the mass, i controll through a 3d satilit signal and simply point and click on the thing i want destroyed. And if you try to jam the signal you have to be within one foot to do it, their fore already eaten MWuhahahahah!!
2009-09-23 [Hiuko]: However what if there is an attack launched from each direction. If each must take the command of one then they will only stop the one attack and the others will break through to the main bot. Wouldn't it be wiser to have officer bots so that you can direct them in a strategic manner without having to directly control all of them. This way you can, not only stop a surround attack but you could also pull off the same thing against the enemy, no hope of escape for them. Aye?
2009-09-23 [twitchboy]: they wont literaly eat things, their shell is of a extremely volitile acid, an attack will melt
2009-09-23 [Hiuko]: Lets say the attacking.. thing, is acid proof. Plus who said anything about eating? I'm just saying, strategy is important. (This is backed up by my obsession with it due to it being my top quality, shocking I know, and that fact that for the past week I've been playing Samurai Warrior 2 for hours per day.)
2009-09-23 [twitchboy]: hmm, a voliltile base substance to conteract the acidity? interesting
