2009-05-06 [Chimes]: If you knew the people in it, you could get them to dress up for you again holding a bowl... then it would still count, I think but Akane is in charge so in the end it would be her decision as to whether to allow it. :P Otherwise you could just take a new photo.

2009-05-06 [Ravenclaw]: No, our commanding officer suffered a brain anurism (sp?) and a stroke shortly after the picture was taken. He's the one with the cannon and is in too pore health to participate in long distance reenactments.

I wish I could have found the one with the two gentelmen dressed as President Lincoln and General Stewart. Except for the powerlines in the background it was freakin awesome. They where standing on the battlefield shaking hands when I happened to walk by *snap*. I see the gentelmen dressed as Lincon every once in a while. He dresses up for Lincoln's birthday and visits all the local businesses in town during the Presidents Day sales. He's a tad excentric but in a loveable home grown kinda way.

But if I'm unable to participate that's cool, at least I got some good feedback for it!

2009-05-06 [Yuriona]: Dang... reenactments are so cool! I have photos of my brother and uncle in their WWII Nazi uniforms but I didn't take any of the pictures. ;_;

I would imagine if you could convince the gentleman to pose for another photo with you (and a bowl lol) that could be might be enough of a proof photo for the contest. It is an amazing photo that's for sure. *nods*

2009-05-06 [Akane; Il Sangue Bevitore]: How about this, Raven. Get your father to dress up again (since he is in the picture) and have him hold a bowl, and I will accept it. That way you can add the origional photo and I still have proof that it was your picture, will that work?

Update: Called Dad, he dosen't have the exact uniform but he has something close. He's gained a size or two since the last reenactment but he's eager to help! He's so cool!
