2007-02-17 [SilverFire]: Question: what are we counting as classical literature? (basically: Does Bram Stoker's Dracula come under 'classical' literature?
2007-02-22 [Artsieladie]: 3rd paragraph, 3rd line down: "best pegasus-page on the Internet"? Shouldn't this be: "best vampire-page on the Internet"? :P
2007-02-22 [xido]: agreed, and fixed. Thanks! ;)
2007-02-23 [Artsieladie]: YW! I could have gone & done it, but I don't like to touch anything unless I feel sure I have the permission to do so & at the time, I wasn't sure. :)
2007-02-25 [xido]: That's okay. Consider your permission granted to all ECM pages. You are a huge help, and I appreciate it.
Next step is advertising for entrants. We should hit up [Hedda] for his News Crew members to post the ECM Vampire....
2007-02-27 [xido]: Oh dang, he IS hit up. x.op
2007-02-27 [NamelessMerc]: Hah, he's always one step ahead.
Though I do have an issue with 'vampyre' here. Vampyres (as far as I know, feel free to correct me) are classically demons. The trend to use the word as an association to vampires is partly to do with the spelling and their method of killing. last time I checked, vampyres suck souls from people.
As I said before, I could be completely off, so yeah...
2007-02-27 [Fireblade K'Chona]: ...I have a lovely sestina about vampires that's just kind of sitting on my poetry page...
2007-02-28 [stevedoyle]: I've got a poem you can have. Where do I post it?
2007-02-28 [SilverFire]: If you place your poem on a wiki with an obviouse name (one including the word 'Vampire', would be good :D) and link it from Vampire Poetry, that'd be good (since that was how it was done for the Pegasus marathon, I'm assuming we're doing the same here.)
2007-03-01 [xido]: great! ;)
2007-03-01 [Artsieladie]: *nods* :)
2007-03-01 [Lexi. Short and Sweet!]: What about vampire mythology? Like a page with details about different view points on vampire creation nad what makes a vampire (feeding habits etc.)
