2004-02-29 [Lerune]: I just added the Daily Poem for the day, and noticed when I went to leave a message in the user's guestbook, that the guy hadn't been here for about a month...but the poem is still much deserving of the recognition... Too late to undo it, but -- just out of curiosity (if I need to help again) what are the general guidelines on that?

2008-05-17 [SilverFire]: I don't know how you do it at the moment, so ignore this if it's how you do it already, but if you you'd something like Microsoft Excel it would be relatively quick even with the separate pages. Just copy and paste the list of names, open Excel, highlight a column in Excel, and paste. It'll put every name in a separate cell. There's then a button you can use that will put the whole column in alphabetical order. Presto, done. :P All you do then is copy & paste back to the wikis.

Make sure you submit something you like, as opposed to merely posting for the sake of posting something. And then you'll just have to hope that one of the Bosses likes what you've written, or thinks other people might.

guess it didn't like me clicking your link like that. doing a search with "DonnorPoem" in the badge area thing did finally bring up 640 members. i'd tried various searches, but guess i either spelled stuff wrong or forgot to set the "Seek among those who have been here since this time ago" section. (and we should probably phrase that section differently, i think)

2011-08-06 [Linderel]: There is a discrepancy, but I'm afraid that there's nothing much that can be done about it. If you go back far enough in the archive, let's say to before 2005, there'll be entries where the username is a broken link. Unless someone can figure out a way to sort that out, the discrepancy will stay. It also doesn't help that they started handing out badges in December 2003, much later than the feature itself began. So, yeah. Sorry about that, but I have no way to correct it.
