Plus the word witch is actualy many thing's not just one because it meen's that the person potreyd as a witch is actualy a person that uses what to some is known as magick. Therefore a witch is in fact a ,Wiccan,Druid,Necromancer,Sommuner and so on basicaly witch is just a word meening a person that uses what is known as magick and Yes to those of you that wish to know I am a naturely born wiccan.

2007-10-25 [moira hawthorne]: I think the point should be that art isnt about continual portraying a dated incorrect outlived stereotype... whether it be real life or myth or fantasy... there is no more one way to draw/portray a witch than there is to draw an elf or faery... its up to the artist to decide...

2007-10-25 [dragonos]: that's true because there depiction's on what witches look like in myth is just that myth there is no actual proof stateing that is what they looked like. When infact they looked just like us only differance was there cloth's back then were differant than most clothing you see nowaday's. Although that is the case with all that were back then not just witches looked differant everyone did. Just think if you went back in time to that time period with your current clothing you would most likely be killed for being a witch. Just because you look differant.

more interesting to think that if you were to met lets say... a leparchon on the street today... he'd be dressed in modern clothes not some weird stylized victorian suit...

2007-10-25 [dragonos]: that would be true the fact is as time advances so does everything in it change as well so saying one thing is to look like one thing just because it may or may not have looked like that in the past is ridiculas. who is to say that you may not even be talking to one of those thing's from the past you won't know because as time changed so did they. So infact they could be walking around just like any other person and you would never know because you think they would appear as the myth's say. Relieing to much on myth and legend just look at the times there are thing's that go unexplained and the best thing anyone can say is that it never happend because there is no logical answer for why or even how it happend.

You can't call folklore pathetic :/ Each land has their stories whether those are of your liking or not. I personally am not fond of certain folklores either but I don't diss them because they don't agree with my views of some creatures.

And it also would be better to stop chatting on this wiki and take the discussion to a forum or a private wiki :)
