2011-05-20 [kamisch]: Oh man...such terrible flooding! Was this up in the south? Hope you stayed safe, yo.
2011-05-20 [Lord Josmar]: This is here at my little town in Southern Illinois a few years back. We had one day and night of continuous rainfall and our levee was crap and didnt keep it out. I worked the night before and we would go outside and could measure how many feet the water had risen since in an hours time. Twas crazy.
2011-05-20 [Nioniel]: I'm going to share this with the other Bosses and we'll make a decision then. :)
2011-05-20 [Lord Josmar]: Okies.
2011-05-20 [Nioniel]: We decided that these are great as flood reference photos, but that they don't really fit the theme. If you wouldn't mind moving the wiki to Reference Pictures Submissions, we'll sort them appropriately for you and update your count. :)
2011-05-20 [Lord Josmar]: Ok. I didn't see the flood reference link or I would have put them there originally.
2011-06-22 [Nioniel]: *poke*
These need to be moved from the EPRM Underwater Reference to Reference Pictures Submissions. :)
2011-06-22 [Lord Josmar]: I thought I did already.
2011-09-09 [Dark Side of the Moon]: Some of these shots look a little familiar. Was this down around Chester or close to that area?
2011-09-09 [Lord Josmar]: This was in Harrisburg, Illinois about 2-4 years ago. Chester sounds familiar, but I am unfamiliar of where it is exactly.
2011-09-10 [Dark Side of the Moon]: Chester might sound familiar because the creator of Popeye came from there. The town practically sits on the Mississippi River so I thought that your photos might have come from an area close to Chester. But Harrisburg is much farther east. I guess it looks familiar because it's just like every other small town in Illinois: a gas station, a McDougal's, a bank, a VFW and empty fields all around it. :^)
2011-09-10 [Lord Josmar]: Lolz. Ok, these weren't from the recent floods either. Though I have some shots from the recent one, I just never uploaded them mainly because they are cellphone shots.
