1. NO STEALING!!!
Images must be created by Elftowners and posted here by the original artist.
Which means, no matter how much you might like a particular image on somebody's house, you are not allowed to add it here. This includes random images from the net too. MAKE YOUR OWN DARN IMAGES, DON'T STEAL THEM AND TRY TO CLAIM THEM AS YOUR OWN! That makes us angry, very angry indeed.
2. QUALITY-ISSUES
Please put forth your best effort and the best quality, i.e.
- no drawings on lined notebook paper
- no bad scannings of your drawings
- Old pieces of art are allowed in this contest, providing they have not already been submitted to another official Elftown Contest. If your art has been submitted in an unofficial contest, then you are still free to enter it here.
- drawings must be well shaded and/or coloured. They also have to have some kind of background. Sketches will not be accepted.
3. READ THE [#THEME]!
4. EACH MEMBER MAY SUBMIT TWO (2) ENTRIES
5. ALL IMAGES MUST BE UPLOADED TO ELFTOWN!
You may upload directly to a wiki page using the 'Upload a file' button located in the right hand column on every wiki page. This enables you to enter images at their full size.
Another option is to use the feature 'Upload a folder of images' that is shown on your house.
This feature allows you to upload one, multiple images or zip-files in their original size to a wikipage.

6. SUBJECT MATTER: Since the winners will be featured on Main Street, images that depict graphic violence, pornography or other disturbing actions will not be accepted. Only images that fit the theme will be allowed.

What will we be expecting?
The theme is: Year of the (Earth) Ox (Read more: Ox (zodiac))
Deadline:
The deadline of this competition is January 21st, 2009
We will be picking 2 images as the winner(s).
Ten images will be picked out by the Council and the Assembly among all those presented and a Main Street poll will tell the winner - unless there are only twenty or less entries, in which case they will all go to the public poll.
Participants will receive an art contestant badge, and winners will receive a coloured version of the same (or a green/coloured Masters of Building badge if they are committed art donors).
Please Note: Asking people to vote for you is against the rules. Although you may advertise the Main Street Poll in your mood, diary, or house, it is against Elftown Official Competition rules to directly ask people to vote for you or influence people to vote for you through use of public wikis, diary entries, messages, in your mood, etc.
