CHARACTER DESIGN BASICS

I've been asked quite a bit recently to do a series of tutorials/ walkthroughs to demonstrate some basic principles that go into character design. This is actually the second tut in the series.

In this demonstration we will learn some very basic concepts that will aid you in getting more accurate structure and perspective in your rendering. So let's get started!


Step one.
I can't stress enough how important it is to start with a very simple basic stick figure. If you start your drawing out of perspective/proportion it's going to end up out of perspective/proportion.
