Poor Terry Pratchett has recently been diagnosed with the early stages of Alzheimers. We know we can't fix him, but maybe we can cheer him up a bit by holding a contest in his honor.
Whether it's through art, or writing, show your support by creating a little Pratchett inspired work. Share it, win a fancy badge, and have fun!
1. The Drawing must be made for this contest. (I know it's a pain, but we're trying to encourage creativity here.)
2. The Drawing but be, erm.. drawn. AKA no Photo manipulations.
If there are enough people who want to do manips, we'll make an off-shoot for it, but for now let's stick to what we know.
3. No stealing artwork.(duh) No direct copying either. If you want to draw a character in the style of the illustrations, that's fine..
4. The artwork must portray something from Discworld; be it Elephants, Ankh-Morpork, or Nobby Nobbs, it has to involve Discworld in some way. ...note that the bottom divider was inspired by Bloody Stupid Johnson, who invented a trout pond 30 feet long.. and 6 inches wide.
5. Quality: No sketches, lined paper, or half-finished drawings. This is meant to showcase fine artwork, not whatever you could throw together at the last minute.
Writing Rules
1. Don't steal.. blah blah blah
2. Be creative
3. Any word length is acceptable.. though we might stop reading after 2 pages.
4. Any style. Write a song, poem, prose.. we don't care, just so long as it has something to do with Discworld.

I set it to be featured on Mainstreet through November 1st, 2008, stipulated your '20 for art and 5 or more for writing' deadline. I saw your contest in your mood. So, I checked MC to see if it was there and wasn't. But... it is now. I hope I assumed correctly that you would want your contest advertised. ;P

Keep them as pure as possible! lol... sounds silly 'eh?
