I made a comic for school. It was a semester project. There are a few explanatory/narrative/scientific sentences to each page.
It is not a typical comic, since the purpose of it should be to show people the difference between Dissociative Identity Disorder and Schizophrenia, which is mixed up very often.
The technique I'm using is Scratchboard (à la Thomas Ott). A cutter or needle is used to scratch off the black surface of such a cardboard and white appears beneath it.
The purpose of this wiki is to gather some constructive comments, pointers, criticism, etc. from you so that I can improve my work if it's necessary.

NEW: Btw. Here is the link to the downloadable PDF version including the scientific text passages to each side in English and improved quality on the pictures themselves: http://pandorasmango.deviantart.com/art/Divided-Brains-A-comic-79787147 (click the download button on the left-hand side)

2009-07-01 [amrazon]: Talent!

2009-07-10 [Teal Ribbon]: My ex has DID, and I get so annoyed when DID and Schizophrenia are mixed up. Thank you so much for this! I love the Ninth page!

2009-07-10 [PandorasMango]: Ah, I didn't have any real life experiences to base this on, so I'm really glad to hear I got it right =)
Thank you all! ^^

2009-07-29 [Linderel]: Old definitions, they die hard. When I have to inform people that schizophrenia is not DID they go 'Oh, really? I didn't know that. Since when?'

2009-07-29 [PandorasMango]: yeah, its a neverending struggle and especially annoying if the media adds to the confusion, like when they say that Gollum is schizophrenic. That was actually the kick-off point for me in this project.

2009-07-29 [Linderel]: My favourite uni teacher says that we have to be schizophrenic - that we should have an English-speaking personality and a Finnish-speaking personality. I guess it's understandable for him to still use that word as he has to be well over fifty and either doesn't know or doesn't remember (set in his habits, maybe) the revamped definitions. I haven't yet had the heart to correct the man... after all, he's just trying to make an analogy.

2009-07-29 [PandorasMango]: Yeah, the term schizophrenia seems to have been really burned into people's minds. I can imagine that it's hard to correct a tutor, I probably wouldn't dare. Or maybe you could like pretend you're confused because you also heard about MPD, that might get him to look it up himself ^^

2009-07-29 [Linderel]: Oh I've corrected him before a couple of times, he hasn't minded yet xD As a matter of fact, he's thanked me :P Somehow I've just let this one slip. Probably because it's not directly relevant to the stuff he's teaching us.

2009-10-03 [ladynightengale]: Wow! You are very talented! It must have taken forever to do all of this on scratch board. Good work!

2009-10-03 [PandorasMango]: Thank you! It does take a long time to do scratchboard work, but its really rewarding =)

2009-10-03 [Nite_Owl]: Scratch board is amazing though--you did an excellent job with it :D

2009-10-03 [ladynightengale]: I remember when I was in art and I had to do a scratch board.. I hated it because it took forever, but I loved it in the end :D Bu you do do beautiful work!

2009-10-03 [PandorasMango]: lol, it IS a mess, when I use scratchboard nowadays I have taken to using a tiny vacuum cleaner, thats supposed to be used for keyboards x)

2009-10-04 [ladynightengale]: That's awesome!

2009-12-01 [Mediocracy At It's Best]: Damn...I've never been good at scratch boards so those who can really do it amaze me. Not only is the art good but I think you portrayed the issue perfectly. Brava.

2010-09-29 [Olwen]: Wow, I myself have schizophrenia and those drawings really stood out for me!

2010-10-14 [PandorasMango]: Thanks guys!
@Olwen: I don't know anyone with either schizophrenia or multiple personality disorder in person, so I'm glad the pictures spoke to you.

2010-11-01 [Olwen]: They did, thank you :)

2012-01-03 [ludageke]: This is beautiful. Do you make zines?

2012-02-20 [PandorasMango]: So far I didn't ^^ But I'll see if I can in the future.

2013-03-06 [shakz_30]: I can relate to these images. They are brilliant. Thanks for sharing.
