Readers
The Priest
Once again, there are 19 Readers- one for each planet. Most Readers are Changing Mortals, however there are a few Immortals. Their job is more on the spiritual basis. They conduct all ceremonies associated with their planetary kingdom, and they are the guiding forces behind all religious ceremonies. The Readers are not the ones actually conducting the ceremony when it is for non-Eirens. Example: Tahlqihn is the Reader for Earth. When there is a religious ceremony being conducted on Earth, Tahlqihn will be called upon to guide it. However, if his planetary kingdom was conducting a ceremony, then he would be in charge. ***It is also interesting to note that all but four Readers are married to the Guardian in the same planetary kingdom.***
